You can customize the logon screen?

original title: Logo on the logon screen

Is there way to put and extra logo on the Welcome screen, not to mention that the Logo of the computer operating system as for example for the moments, I worked for The US Army then it will have a Logo that says we armed Jacob Pagano

Here is the procedure, although it requires the free 3rd party software: http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/customize-your-windows-vista-logon-screen/.

I hope this helps.

Good luck!

I try to combine two forms: forms of recording and registration of attendance.  The record attendance would list all students, and the registration forms would be student specific.  I wonder if there is a way that I can enter in the number of students on attendance record, and that the required number of forms would generate registration based on this number.

  • You can customize navigation DPS for iPad?

Hi - I'm doing research on various workflow for creating a text heavy interactive iPad App using inDesign to publish on the AppStore with interactive elements, built in HTML5 seems to be quite a good option, but I wonder if it is possible to customize the navigation options? I saw somewhere that you can customize the icons if you have a corporate subscription - but is it also possible to remove the toolbar icons in total, and has simply a rollout of pages pop up when you press the screen?

    Hi Phil.Ganchev,

Using a laptop or a desktop computer?

The reason for this question is, if you have a plugged AC adapter you must set power accordingly as opposed to laptop settings battery operated.

I suggest you head over to the power settings and create your own power management.

    a. power by clicking on the Start button, open the Options click on the Control Panel, clicking system and security, and then clicking Power Options.

    (b) according to the plan you want to change, click on change plan settings.

    c. on the parameters of change in the plan page, choose "Put the computer to sleep" that you want to use when your computer is running on battery (if applicable) and when it is plugged.
(Change in 5 minutes for the batteries and sector)

    Hi all

in the settings I disabled completely safe screen. But now I've started my mac, waited half an hour and then tried to open a session. And... guess it... the logon screen showed a screen saver.

    So two questions:

-where can I turn on / turn off screen saver for the logon screen?

-where can I set up the screen saver for the logon screen?

    Greetings from the Germany

    Chris

OK, a third party, but please Don t laugh:

s ' is he or safer screen saver?

In English, it means "Screen Saver".

To set the screensaver used at the login screen, you can use the following command, which in this example is the name of the computer aka things. 'Message' screen saver.

    / usr/bin/defaults write /Library/Preferences/com.apple.screensaver loginWindowModulePath '/System/Library/Frameworks/ScreenSaver.framework/Resources/Computer Name.saver '.

You can not fix it. You can only disable it, but to do this, correct password must be known to you.

  • User account incorrect displayed on the logon screen

    OT: Displayed Incorrect user account
    Hi all
When you switch on my laptop, instead of my list of normal user account, the screen displays the message "incorrect username and password" - OK.
If I select OK, a profile of incorrect user account appears. Strangely although perhaps, the specified user name, actually part of my email address?
I tried to enter all kinds of passwords relevant to me, but of course, who are rejected and I went back to 'bad user' - However, if I then click on the option "change user", then get a screen showing both my own correct profile, right next to the bad. By selecting the correct account, then I can access my homescreen, as usual.  I go to the user account page, expecting to remove "rogue" account, as you would with a guest account - for example - but - hey - he's not here, not anywhere for me to remove I can not just simply get rid of it.  OK - this is something I can live with - but it's so boring, Forums, so far, failed to help. Experts or skilled geeks out there?   I am running Vista Home Premium + SP2.
    Thank you.
