    Help, please!

This type of error can be caused if the Visual C++ library runtime components are missing or because of a third-party software.

    Follow the steps below:

    Method 1:
If the problem is caused by the lack of Visual C++ libraries, you can download and install the Runtime components of Visual C++ libraries from the link below:

This error can occur when the Microsoft .NET Framework installation on the computer is damaged or is missing.

Try it out below step to reinstall and repair installation of Microsoft .NET Framework on the computer, then check if you can install the software.

    (a) click the Start button, select Control Panel, click programs and then click on 'Turn Windows has or not.' If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

    (b) search for Microsoft .NET framework 3.5.1 uncheck, click OK and restart the computer.

    (c) after the reboot, open again "Turn Windows features on or off" and place a check next to Microsoft .NET framework 3.5.1 and restart the computer.

    Step 2

If the previous step fails, then I suggest that you manually download and install Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 and 2008 Redistributable Package and check to see if you can install the software.

In programs and features, you do not show that you have installed Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable and Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable? If this is not the case, download the links here.

I need help to solve this problem

    Hello

You did changes to the computer before the show?

Method 1: I suggest that you run the SFC scan and check if this solves the problem for you:

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929833

The sfc/scannow command analyzes all protected system files and replaces incorrect versions with appropriate Microsoft versions.

Method 2: Perform a disk check, follow the steps below:

    1. open the computer by clicking the Start button, click computer.

    2. click on the drive you want to check, and then click Properties.

    3. click on the Tools tab and then, under check for errors, click Find now. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

To automatically repair problems with files and folders that detects the scanning, select automatically fix file system errors. Otherwise, the disk check will be a problem, but not to fix them.

To perform a thorough check, select search and attempt to recover bad sectors. This analysis tries to find and repair physical errors on the disk itself, and it may take much longer to complete.

To check for errors file and the physical errors, select both automatically fix errors in file system and search for and attempt recovery of bad sectors.

Method 3: Update of the .net Framework.

    http://www.Microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?displaylang=en&ID=22

Method 4: You can also try the steps from the link that addresses a similar issue:

    Hello

Thanks for posting your question on the Forums of community of Microsoft.

    1. don't you make changes to the computer before the show?

    2. which version of the operating system is installed on the computer?

    3. when exactly you get this error message?

    original title: Please answer me

Hello, I just downloaded yahoo Messenger 11. I have windows vista, and the installation went well. Now, whenever I try to start it, I have a Kaspersky Anti-virus program. As you approach the end of the installation of the program, a warning box appears, through a program of protection and on the inside, there are three options, I already tried all that, and then I get this error: the application failed to start because its side-by-side configuration is incorrect. Check the log of events applications for more details.  Any help is appreciated. Thank you, raed - zyd
