  This site is really twisting my mind: I posted a question a while ago and there is no way to come back because my dashboard is empty and there is no apparent connection with the questions of this Web site section. Thanks to Google, I slipped my way through https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/questions and while I could find my question once again.

  Turning in circles again and again on a site Web is not nice for the end user. I know you seem to want people to go through your troubleshooting process - which I can understand, but all I want is to see my question already asked.

  It would be nice if you added some link somewhere - if I missed it, please point out to me.

  It is an XFA file that is not detected by the PDF viewers in the web browser.

  Please right click on this link http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM1344E.pdf & select ' Save As... ', now, to save the PDF file to your desktop & open with Adobe Reader.

  I'm sure that it will work as it worked on my end.

  Ah, which explains a lot. IE 9 is currently not supported. Please see the Information of Certification Client Forms 10.1.2. There are known issues with IE 9. I recommend go back you to IE 8 and wait for IE9 to be certified.

  Well, the title is long enough already...

  Even if an add-on (flash, for example) is configured as click-to-play, I can define some Web sites as exceptions. Then, the add-on is still allowed to play or ever allowed to play and I will never ask any question for these Web sites again.

  The question is: how I can cause Firefox to forget such an exception/decision and treat it again through the standard? (In my case, I simply clicked the wrong button and, as it seems, can only cancel easily.)

  You can rename (or delete) the file permissions.sqlite in the profile folder of Firefox to reset all the permissions.

  You can control and manage permissions for the domain in the tab currently selected through these steps:

  • Click the address bar onthe Site identity button"(globe/lock)
  • Click on 'More information' to open ' tools > Page Info "with the Security tab is selected

  Go to the permissions tab (Tools > Page Info > permissions) to check the permissions for the domain in the currently selected tab.

  It seems unlikely that there is any sort of problem from Microsoft, still less a suggestion for the site of the Microsoft Answers forum. You must take the problem with your hosting ISP.

  You can have an unwanted extension that injects these ads sites. Try this:

  Disable all non-essential or unrecognized extensions on page modules. Either:

  • CTRL + SHIFT + a
  • "3-bar" menu button (or tools) > Add-ons

  In the left column, click Extensions. Then, when in doubt, turn off.

  Typically, a link will appear above at least an extension disabled to restart Firefox. You can complete your work on the tab and click one of the links in the last step.

  Note: If no delete button for an extension, you can usually uninstall via Control Panel, uninstall a program. I suggest clicking on the column heading "installed during the" group by date to see if all the grouped items dragged to your computer during a recent free software install.

  Could check you the Firefox user agent string? This article explains how reset it is not blocked in the past: sites say that Firefox is obsolete or incompatible, even if it's the latest version.

  Firefox 17.0.1 also reverses a change in Firefox 17.0 confused some Web sites (it returns the version of Gecko Gecko/20100101 Gecko/17.0), but I don't think that change created widespread problems.
