Touchpad and some keys not working do not due to static electric shock
This is an unusual problem - maybe someone can shed some light on this, and (especially) thoughts towards fixing the problem would be GREATLY appreciated.
Yesterday, I got my ACER Aspire 1830 t series netbook (Windows 7, 32-bit) and a little shock to receive static electricity - nothing major, exactly as happens when you touch anything with metal (especially in winter?), right. However, it has caused a few problems:
1. first of all it has caused my netbook to a hard cock down.
2. once I rebooted the system, the touchpad did not work.
To restore functionality to the touchpad, I tried the following until now:
- FN + F7 (toggle to turn on/off the touchpad) - IS NOT WORKING.
- Reboot - IT DID NOT WORK.
- Use a wireless mouse - Fortunately, IT works.
3. I was about to try to reinstall the driver for the touchpad when I noticed that some other normal keys have lost a few perfect. For example, I can no longer hold the BACKSPACE key or the arrow keys to a continuous function - they only move a space at a time, so I have to stay here by tapping it again and again.
So far, I are not noticed a problem of corrupted files or programs, so maybe that's more a hardware problem than a problem of driver/software. Is it possible for static electricity incinerate a wire or something?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. This baby is only a few months out of warranty...
Thank you very much!
Try to unplug the power, remove the power battery button and press on for 20-30 seconds, it stays for a while and try to turn it back on, I'm not sure if it will solve but worth it.

do not load videos on YouTube, the videos that are on other sites, which are linked to YouTube also does not charge. I only have this problem with Firefox version 6.0.1. I'm not having this problem when I use (forced to use) Internet Explorer. Why is it a problem in Firefox and how can I solve this problem?

If this does help not you can try these other suggestions, Fix common audio and video issues section:

Sometimes an extension for Firefox can block plugins or otherwise prevent audio or video content to play. If the audio or video games when you disable all extensions, then one of your extensions because of the problem. For more information, see Troubleshooting extensions and themes and problems of hardware acceleration to resolve common Firefox problems.Other solutions:

To be honest, such a problem is unclear to me. I don't know what computer you have and how old it is, but maybe you need a new power adapter.
If you have new model have you noticed that on the first day of use? -
I get nothing but a black screen when I turn on my HP laptop. I think it's because of static electricity.
1. it off disconnect the power adapter and remove the battery, hold the power button for a total of 30 seconds.
2. connect adapter only and see if windows will load.

Hi NickCserny,
· Did you do changes on the computer before the show?
· You use Internet Explorer? If so, what version of IE are you using?
Follow these methods.
Method 1: The possible cause is that the Flash content that is cached get corrupted or damaged, preventing audio streaming work correctly. Follow the steps in the article.

No noise of operating system, no sound on YouTube and online TV.
Original title: no noise of operating system, no sound on YouTube and online TV. Sounds on the speakers with or without headphones ok, sound OK on netradio ok and windows mediaplyer.
Windows Vista Home Basic, Realtek High Definition Audio. I updated the driver for sound card and I tried Microsoft difficulty It Center without result. When I test the speakers sound is ok, but no sound when I test windows operating sounds. In service, the window is Windows Audio started. Generator endpoint Windows Audio is not there. I have checked the volume control, acoustic window, test tone, sound effects and sound levels. Only the sounds of window aren't there when I test.
1. I tried method 1: uninstalled and installed the audio driver: still no system sounds and no sound on YouTube and TV.
2. I did a file system check (sfc/scannow): "Windows Resource Protection has not found any breach of integrity."
3 Microsoft Fix Center tells me that soundservices one or more are not performed and that Windows Audio and Windows Audio endpoint Builder should run and that one of these services do not work.
4. in the services window, Windows Audio is started. Generator of Windows endpoint is not there.

Flash will load audio but not video... and then crashes...
Flash will load the audio from a video, but the video display will be green. The player then crashes. Initially, this was just my videos from YouTube.com, but now I have problems with Windows Media Player Classic (and sometimes with Windows Media Player). I tried uninstalling and reinstalling several times. Flash is not displayed in my programs, but can I uninstall in Control Panel.
I have Windows 7 and 64-bit.
I use the 10.3.181.34 version. According to http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/ I have a flash installed successfully. Yes, I see the image.
These are the files in my SysWOW64 > C:\windows\system32\macromed > Flash
Flash10m.ocx
FlashInstall.log
flashplayer. XPT
FlashUtil10u_Plugin.exe
install.log
Npswf32.dll
I use Firefox 5. Shockwave Flash 10.3.181.34 is enabled.
I have no idea what to do. Help.
As soon as I read 'green' in any position, the first thing that comes to mind is to disable hardware acceleration. Right-click on the Flash Player test page and select settings. Then on the display panel uncheck "enable hardware acceleration".

As YouTube and Vimeo 41.0 videos do not play even if the video controls show that reading is current. True to embed, Facebook and YouTube pages. On Youtube, video will buffer to 100% but will not play again. First frame of the video is visible at a time, but remains a fixed image. FlashBlock is installed but disabled.
On YouTube, if you click on the pause button, and then click the play button, the video then play? (I have not checked on Vimeo yet.)
If so, you can have the autoplay disabled HTML5 videos. From 41 of Firefox, it's more effective than in previous versions because reading is blocked, but there is the strange display of the pause key and the buffer file.
To check this setting:
(1) in a new tab, type or paste Subject: config in the address bar and press enter/return. Click on the button promising to be careful.
(2) in the search above the list box, type or paste the media and make a pause so that the list is filtered
(3) if the preference media.autoplay.enabled is in bold and 'game of the user' to false, you can double-click it to restore the default value true and see if that fixes it

Safari throws "Safari cannot open page because the server is not responding" while Chrome throws an error "this site is not reachable, connection timed out" for most relationships other than Facebook, Google, Youtube and a few other sites on my Macbook Pro. Sometimes, however, I am able to get the site on Google and access one page other than the home page and everything on the site works fine afterwards. I use a Macbook Pro OS X El Capitan (10.11.5) running. Can anyone help?

Playback on YouTube and other video players controls are tiny
I am running Windows 8.1 on a Lenovo Yoga Pro 2 (high resolution). I think that it's originally the play/pause, volume, full screen, buttons etc. in YouTube and other video streaming of players to be really too small.
In addition, Flash games only filling in the upper left corner of the area that they should. Sometimes, this can be corrected by right-clicking and clicking on zoom, but this option is not always there, and YouTube does not have this option, either.
I read something on the Internet about disabling HiDPI in the comments: page config to fix this, but this option seems to have been deleted.
Any ideas how to solve this problem? Thank you.
Yes, you can file a report on Bugzilla: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/
The form is simple enough and you probably a few cc follow-up questions would happen to you by e-mail. I will quote the variations that you have tried, such as hardware acceleration on or off, same result. Zoom effect of the page, the effect of changing the device/pixels.

After the upgrade to the latest version 13.0.1
I can't open videos from youtube and other sites
I tried all the solutions, but none works
I would also consider the following. Recent crashes of some multimedia content (this includes the Youtube videos, some flash games and other applications), in collaboration with Firefox 13 are probably caused by a recent update of Flash 11.3 and/or Real Player browser plugin to malfunction.
To resolve this problem, follow the steps in these articles in the Knowledge Base:
Flash Plugin - maintain and troubleshoot
Adobe Flash plugin has crashed - avoid that it happen
11.3 Flash does not load video in Firefox
