  Perhaps there is an error with your CP1200? I just tested our CP1200 direct printing using first and then connected wireless. In both cases, I was able to locate the printer, and then print Photos using AirPrint.

  My canon selphy cp900 does not illuminate. When Start button / stop is pressed, nothing happens. No flashing green, nothing on the screen. I tried the hard reset described elsewhere who causes disconnection of the cables and pressing button / stop at least 5 times and then after 20 min. reconnect to known working taken. This printer has been used very little. I bought it for my mother-in-law two years ago, who could never grasp how to use and I recently repossesed for use it myself to see that it does not work. All the togeather printed it maybe 4 times. Help please!

  The ink cartridge is stuck in the printer and ejection not possible.

  How can I remove the ink cartridge.

  It is the second unit I've owned that has happened.  I replaced the unit with a new one, and it happened again.

  Please, try the following to see if we can solve your problem:

  1. turn off the printer.

  2. open the side of the printer to access the ink cartridge.

  3. push the cartridge in the printer in order to ensure that it is locked.

  4. turn the printer on and back again.

  Once this has been done, try to remove the cartridge from the camera.

  1. What is the number of the Canon Selphy printer model?

  2. have you installed the drivers from the printer?

  3 have you tried to plug it into different USB ports?

  I understand that you are not able to connect printer Canon Selphy on Windows 8.

  Check if the device is detected in Device Manager.
  Follow these steps:
  a. on the desktop, press the Windows key + X , and then select Device Manager.
  b. expand Print Queues , and then right-click on the printer.
  c. Select Properties , and then check to see if the device works properly under device status.

  Is there a yellow triangle with an exclamation mark inside, then it indicates that there is a problem with the drivers.

  Follow these methods and check if that helps.

  Method 1: It is easier to connect to a printer on Windows 8.  Simply plug the USB cable from your printer to a USB port available on your computer.  If the computer is not find the printer, then plug it into another USB port and verify.

  Some older printers can require additional information to complete the installation, so connect you using the Advanced Printer Setup.

  I have a Canon Selphy printer connected to my Windows 7 computer via a local WiFi network.  If I use Lightroom to display an image, the results are very washed out and look, nothing like the computer screen version.  If I copy the same file jpg on a memory card, insert the card into the Canon printer and print it from there, I get the results I want.  My computer supports the printer driver is the current one, but something's wrong here.

  In the printing, under the printing Panel the task Module, what color management profile: is managed by the printer or you have selected a specific profile.

  Also please check the print settings when printing from Lightroom.
