  I have just set up my work email to my blackberry.  now, when emails come they're going in my messages folder and my blackberry e-mail account folder.  I'd rather not have the emails entering my messages folder (unprotected only not to delete e-mails in two different places).  Is it possible to have just the text messages my folder messages and emails go in my e-mail folder?

  Your main Inbox will collect all messages and e-mail. You can move your TEXT messages to its own folder (messages > choose > General Options > Email and SMS Inboxes > separate).

  Then, hide your specific blackberry.net email folder. You don't need to see in any case, all this E-mail will come to the main message folder.

  So, here is the scoop... which I can now answer beyond saying someone to go read what is readily available on this site and you blowing to tell you to go call your provider.

  Problem was:

  I am in the industry of the music and I get 2-3 MB mp3 quite frequently.  When these files have been sent to my hotmail address I would receive this message without the attachments in the message: "Message truncated due to size."

  Then I read and confirmed that I should be able to receive e-mails with attachments where total email size must be less than 6mbs (says up to 8mbs, but there are reasons of conversion why it ends up being actually lower than that).

  Resolution:

  The problem seems to be between hotmail and BIS (probably with other email based on the web like yahoo, gmail, but I have not confirmed that)

  I got an email vzw.blackberry.net address created successfully and downloaded receipt all attachments that I was incapable of using hotmail.

  So if you have difficulties to receive certain attachments to a particular format or size I suggest to try a blackberry.net email account and see if the problem persists.

  Cause of the problem

  Webmail Gmail accounts were not separate sent items and Inbox folders. The web page of Gmail account contains a Messages link on the left side, but is not a folder separate from the Inbox. Webmail gmail messages are grouped into conversations, which leads to all messages sent and responses of others appearing as an entry of a single e-mail message in the Inbox. This allows to easily read and look on the web page of Gmail, but, when it is integrated with the BlackBerry Internet Service account, results in copies of sent e-mails on the BlackBerry smartphone as new e-mail messages.

  Resolution

  To prevent messages sent back to the BlackBerry smartphone each time, create a filter in the BlackBerry Internet Service account to block sending these messages to the BlackBerry smartphone.

  To create a filter, follow these steps:

  1. Connect to the BlackBerry Internet Service account. For instructions on how to connect to the BlackBerry Internet Service account, see KB03781.
  2. Click the icon of filters next to the built-in Gmail account.
  3. To create a new filter, click Add a filter .
  4. Configure the filter to ensure that messages are not sent to the BlackBerry smartphone if the message coming from the integration of webmail Gmail account:

  • Type a name for the filter in the filter name field. For example, my messages to email Gmail.
  • Assign to the field filter to apply when 'FROM' field.
  • In the contains field, type the address of the Gmail webmail. For example, @gmail.com >.
  • Select the next radio button of do not forward messages to unit.
  • Click on add filter.

  Note: After you create this filter, e-mail messages will not be received on the smartphone BlackBerry if sent to the Gmail webmail account.

  as you often work and as you say you have a lot of emails: how to remove the masses as delete block? on my old blackberry (except z10 newstes) I had the option "remove all front of (...)". Date"in the context menu, and could remove 1500 emails with a tap. do you know how to do this now? There is not such a function, we have to type and mark each email, even if there are 2000! crazy!

  BB: Please urgently add functionality...! I have an imap account with approximately 200 emails a day that are just a copy of the mail of the company and need to delete hundreds every day. I can not press on and select all mails only one and then delete.

  Go in the hub, select e-mail account, just under the blue email account, click and hold the date below it, cursor appears on the right, click Recycle Bin (before deletion).

  

• BlackBerry 10 Z10 no synchronization of emails on each of my 3 a / c on Vodafone UK provider.

  I have 3 accounts gmail, yahoo and my own domain name and the telephone service provider is Vodafone UK.

  When spam arrives on my Z10, I chose to remove BOTH laptop and server, but when I then go to my PC and open the email (Thunderbird or the real mail server) client, the e-mail that I thought I had deleted is still there.

  So, it seems that the phone and e-mail accounts are out of sync.

  This was not always the case. I rang Vodafone thinking that I had to do something like send Service books as I had with my old Torch 9800 but they tell me Service books are not used with the Z10 and they can help.

  I rang the Bell Blackberry and they told me to contact Vodafone, so I'm going around in circles.

  Can someone please advise.

  I think you must contact the domain host.  Something is not quite correctly configured.  I have a configuration of gmail, hotmail, and yahoo, and when I delete an email it disappears on each service.  Is there something with your own domain name that needs some adjustments.

  I have a user who just got a z10 and has a complaint. He says on his old "BOLD" he was able to remove an email on the handheld, but it would remain in its Outlook. It is currently deleting both, I would say is normal, but he prefers not to have auto delete.

  The outlook on the PC account is added to the 'normal' way, connect directly to our exchange server (2003). And the account on the z10 is added using ActiveSync.

  The Z10 connected via ActiveSync does not provide the option to delete on the device but not on the mail server. This feature was available on older devices of BB but not the Z10. Maybe BB it will add in the future, but for now any action you take on the device is reflected in Exchange.

  Thank you for your question regarding SMS notifications on your smart phone BlackBerry Z10.

  As a test, having someone you know sends you a message test SMS to confirm whether or not it is received. It may be possible that your new notification SMS of a previous message has not erased.

  If the message is not received, reinsert the battery as a test and if this fails to solve the problem, contact your mobile service provider for assistance.

• BlackBerry Push email on BB10 Z10 / Z10

  I was very excited to launch the device BB10 and Z10 and couldn't wait to buy it when it is available in India. But just had some news on the internet indicating that BB10 not BIS therefore will not push email. I'm not worried for specifically GMAIL or Yahoo or Hotmail Outlook but in general, any type of push notifications and services by e-mail. Up to OS 7 I have never had to worry about Push Email. I never bothered to check if my business email provider has facilities of push, BIS who managed everything for me.

  If BB10 does not offer this service more then there is no need to buy Z10 or any other product OS10, in fact I think leave BB forever. I really hate this car dérirez in 15 minutes or refresh. I'd rather go to iPhone or Android, if this feature is not there.

  Can anyone confirm if this is true? I'm really upset because I read about it.
