Z10 taken blackBerry trapped in the screen reader!

Today my Z10 decided to enter accessibility mode, including the screen reader. I can't go to settings to turn it off, as the screen will not scroll upwards or downwards. You can access elements by double-clicking, but article 'back' never works. The keyboard is completely non-functional in this mode. I'm working on the re-installation of operating system using link, but not sure it will help. I restarted the phone several times, pulled the battery and taken to Bell which is only available to return to BlackBerry to fix.

Anyone have any ideas on how to get this reset?

Set buttons link... Phew!

This will leave here for others who may have the same problem. Using BBLInk to return to your last backup and it should reset the issue of accessibility.

No, do the above.

I just ran through enabling and disabling it. Pressing the button three times, he died.

  • Detect the screen reader is enabled or disabled

    Hi all

Is it possible to detect whether accessibility screen reader mode is enabled or disabled using native plugin?

I have not found anything relevant to detection here:

    http://developer.BlackBerry.com/native/reference/Cascades/user_interface_accessibility.html

    Thank you.

No, it isn't an API to check if the screen reader is enabled or disabled.  If your application implements the correct accessibility tags, it shouldn't really need to know whether or not it is enabled.

  • BlackBerry 10 Z10 freezes during call if the screen is pinched or zoomed

I applied the update to the software BB Z10 (10.2.0.424).  Since the update, a new problem appeared which is serious enough that I now plan to roll back the update.  Obviously, however, I want to avoid if possible the rollback.

During a phone call, if the screen is 'stuck' or 'zoom' or generally offered by those applying the finger across the screen, the screen then freezes.  The phone call (not continue), but no touchscreen function can be used, and therefore the appeal cannot be done, the keyboard cannot be used, etc.  Sometimes just the skin on my face, touch the screen of the phone is enough to cause problems, but more often it is when I try to press the button end on the screen (and inadvertently move the screen when you press the button).

Once the frost has occurred, the only way to end the phone call (and effectively address freezing of the screen) is a soft reboot by holding down the power button.  To indicate what is obvious, it is very irritating, especially given the time of long reboot of the Z10.

I did some research on Google and the search for keywords related to my question without a bit of luck and surprised not to be able to find no matter what other people discuss this issue or is it just me? ! ? ! ?  I tried to reset the device and prefer not not for all the usual reasons.

Appreciate any help/pointers that anyone can offer.

If you have a similar problem and have stumbled across this forum announcement, I can now report the cause and the fix for this 'problem '. In my BlackBerry settings for accessibility, the function named Mode magnify was lit to. I must have turned on that when you play with my phone during installation (seemed like a good idea at the time). Completely turn off the Mode magnify has solved the problem. Luckily I don't have a disability, but might seek to improve this function for people with disabilities with magnify Mode activated BlackBerry do not know the problems I have with the device of freezing because (inadvertently) expand during phone calls.

  • Change of Smartphones blackBerry phone on the screen

Hi all, just got my Blackberry Curve 8520 for 1 week. I changed the phone number from the one provided in my old number to avoid having to inform all my cotacts a new number. When I go into the screen of the calls (the one raised when you press the green phone button) on the line "My number" it always shows the number not provided that I changed. I went to the Virgin Media Store today, but I've been told that it cannot be changed. I find this hard to believe, if it can be changed how? Hope that all makes sense.

    You are the very welcome!

  • How can I get rid of "your free trial period is over" when you try to open the pdf in the screen reader

    Hello

How can I get rid of the "your free trial period has finished" screen when you try to open a pdf file in Adobe Reader?

I got a trial of Dreamweaver, but it was too complicated for me.

It was not the case for cancell the free track so I let it run its course and expires.  He then deleted programs that is very well (I didn't buy), but he has also deleted my Acrobat Reader.

I have re-installed that but when I try to open a pdf file, all I get is the screen "your free trial period is over," which only allows you to buy or out and out all together.

Needless to say that I am very UNIPRESEED with Adobe to spoil my programs and now they want to charge me $ 29 for a problem that they have created.

Can someone help me with this very annoying problem?

    Concerning

    David

If this is the free software Adobe reader, then it will not be a free trial that are associated with message.  Maybe what you have installed is not the drive.

    I just discovered a (visible dust<1mm size)="" under="" the="" screen="" of="" my="" lenovo="">
It is located in the middle of the screen and I was very angry with her.

I thought that the screen of the laptop must be firmly sealed?
Why is a dust can stuck in there?
Or is it normal to let dust get in there?
I should send it to SC to fix it, scare more and more dust in the future will be inside.

    Hi Tennytyy,

a speck of dust, maybe a pixel dead?

In any case I suggest you consult the Support technique Lenovo in your area...

  • Dust of blackBerry Smartphones under the screen of my BB Curve 9360

I have dust under the screen and it's quite remarkable. I have no idea how it got there, only about 1-2 months that I got this phone. What can I do?

There could be some cracks in your device. Or the part of the screen is not sealed tightly.

I suggest that you take it to where you have guessed.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones locking the screen during a phone call...

I'm just not see it or are at - there no way to lock the screen during a phone conversation? I continue to cut the call when I use my shoulder to hold the phone (Yes, I have a bluetooth connection and I know that that would solve the problem) but I mean the screen of my voyager locked when I was in a call!

    Help!

Thank you, Mike. This looks like a great product.

One question. What use the 'flash' function when a call comes in, or if the keys must be used (i.e. to navigate a phone system)? Is it possible to disengage and engage the program?

  • BlackBerry Smartphones clean the screen

I hope this isn't an issue that was addressed to a million times already, but I had my storm for about a week and need to know how to clean the screen. Someone knows for sure (other than with just a fluffy) the safest way?

It has been addressed, but can't hurt to discuss again:

You can take a few drops of your favorite lens cleaning liquid (or Windex, etc.) on a Microfiber cleaning cloth and gently wipe the screen.  Sometimes I just 'fog' screen with my breath and use my Microfiber cloth.   Do not press hard or "scrub" on the screen.

If you don't have these fabrics, they are available in any store that sells storms or iPhones.  You can get them in stores that also sell sunglasses.

Those that works best for me is those that are more like "sponge" the black tide satin ones...

  • BlackBerry Z10 battery charge percentage of the screen to a z10.

Is there a way to show your battery charge in percentage on the home screen of a blackberry z10

If anyone knows I would appreciate your help.

Thanks for your solution, it works perfectly.

How can I mark your answer, solution.

I always wonder of doing things I do not understand. Nobody never considers that these workplaces is a struggle when your old.

Come on, tell me how to do it!

When I went to school, there was no computer, website or mobile phones. TV was black and white and we had only three channels. An iphone would have been complete magic.

    Best wishes

  • Suggestion of Smartphones RIM blackBerry - icons of the screen!

I don't know I'm not alone in noticing how many new users have the difficulty of work what are the different symbols appear on the display screen, especially the icons less frequently seen, such as those for App update notifications, browser push messages, GPS enabled, etc. etc. etc.

Verification through the records, CD, start-up, guides etc that came with my own camera.

some of the more commonly used icons are listed, but not all of them.

The search of these forums can often provide the answer, but as more and more new users posting similar questions,

There are more answers to go, in an attempt to find the answer.

(Currently a forum for 'Icon' search returns 531 results, whereas the 'strange' icon gets 123 responses!)

Wouldn't be a good idea if R.I.M. has published a list of all the icons and their meanings
in an easily accessible format - on a web page which could be linked from a message 'sticky' on this forum.
and this information was also included in the documentation provided with the new devices?

    More you

Good idea. The forum here would need hundreds of pages stikcy or so most asked questions were all stickied.

This is the notification icons that you will encounter.

  • How to receive: the screen read-only recipes

I did ' Reception > recipes ' train 'Read only' for certain responsibilities using forms of customization, available in Oracle Forms.
I removed the access of Delete/Update/Insert on BLOCK = RCV_TRANSACTION as header for these responsibilities.

However, now when I go to this feature of these specific responsibilities, after executing a default search of the 'find should Receipts", I get the repeated warnings.

I get "FRM-41050: you can't update this record ' warnings as each column in every row of result is filled in the background in the form of 'Recipes' ('RCV_RCVRCERC')

Any suggestions would be really useful, because I am really struggling with this quite some time.
