Z3 Compact OTG UVC

Hello, I have Xperia Z3 Compact, with the latest version of the software, 23.4.A.1.264, the otg works very well, but I would buy a borescope camera, like this: this link!

Then I would ask the people you, owners, mods, admins, who has this phone has all you tried? It works?, this phone has UVC?  befoure I buy the camera.

Thank you!

Hello

There is no native support for it in the phone I'm afraid, but the phone supports Android USB Host API so it can work if you download an application that supports.

I have tested a similar camera with a Compact Z3 myself when checking the drain at home. I got it to work with my phone by downloading a USB Web camera application.

  • Transfer data to the OTG drive and battery on my Z3 Compact problems

    Question 1: -.

It's been 2 months now I use my compact Z3.

Out lately, I bought a USB otg of 32 GB.
It must be connected to my Z3 but I can only browse the data from it, but I can't transfer music/photos/videos of the OTG's internal phone memory.

It is not possible? Or I do something wrong?

    Question 2: -.

I pointed out that battery life have been just within 2 months of purchase. It barely lasts a day.

I disabled most of the apps and just use whatsapp with call/sms limit. I do not have the stamina or ultra endurance or low battery mode.

I charge my Z3 only with his original charger. I turn off mobile and mobile data overnight.
I always keep my apps update of location, wifi etc etc.off.
No problem with network receptions... bar/full coverage.

So, what could be the problem?

So what is the claim of Sony for the 2 day battery life then?

  • Migration E Xperia Xperia compact Z5 - Xperia transfer Mobile & PC companion does not

I bought a compact smartphone Z5 because they had already a series Xperia E. I wanted to migrate easily and instead, I have problems and application of local data transfer.

    1. I can't use the PC because the PC Companion requires at least Windows 7, so that my editing PC operating system Windows XP.

    2. I bought the micro USB sony original EC310 adapter cable to use the transfer Xperia Mobile application but does not.

Check step 4 on both smartphones but then nothing happens. The Z5 recognizes the USB connection.

On Xperia E usb port's on MTP and so on compact Z5. The bluetooth connection is active and receive all the permissions requested by the display.
Xperia E is the model C1505 with Android 4.1.1 build 11.3.A.2.33.
Compact Xperia Z5 Monte 6.0 Android

I tried to disable and re-enable debugging.
The operation is always performed with charged batteries.
The cables used are all original Sony.

How can I solve the problem? I can't use the new phone if you do not complete the migration because the phone has to be in order.

I did some research and unfortunately Xperia E is not supported by Xperia transfer for several reasons,

-It doesn't support USB host so an OTG adapter will not work

-It does not direct WiFi support so a wireless transfer is not possible

-It is not guaranteed to work with the Xperia Xperia companion transfer function

I would say that the best idea here is to back up as much data as possible on an SD card and simply insert the SD card into your new phone. There might be some third-party solutions as well but I have no reference for I'm afraid.

I'm terribly sorry for the inconvenience.

  • Compact Xperia Z5, should I feed him some MARSHMALLOW?

Hello! It's been so long since my Xperia P had stolen and my Xperia S had hard bricked

By this month, I have my savings to buy my favorite again Xperia phones

Since I use the iPhone and currently one abandoned Nokia Lumia 520

    Be the subject

I visit my close Mobile of Sony Centre which they say (the sale man) they will sell, or if I buy a compact Xperia Z5.

    I get the phone out of the box with the Lollipop version and they do not recommend update me Marshmallow yet;

Read the forums here makes me conclude that the marshmallow is really buggy, even the camera

and again, I ask, should I really upgrade to 6.0? or wait a Marshmallow stabilized?

and one thing, since I do not have the budget to buy the Z5 Normal, should I wait and buy the Xperia X instead?

not the Xperia X Performance, cuase Yes, I can't even afford to buy a Normal Z5.

My compact z5 works best with Marshmallow with Lollipop, in General. It has one big flaw with FM radio, but it is not widespread among all phones so, I guess, it's more like a lottery. In any case, it should be fixed in the next updates.

My camera works fine, so too is the battery life, and I have no problem with the USB OTG (which is another general complaint).

His helmet is much better with Z3c in Z5c, although that too is good in the latter.

Fingerprints is a little clumsy: to give you an idea of my iPad never miss a shot, while Z5c works once on four about.

WiFi and broadcast signals are generally strong.

I did the lollipop to the upgrade via the bridge for Mac first Marshmallow with a memory setting to level + wiping and then through repair to be sure of having no remains of the previous operating system level. Sometimes I do a cleaning of the cache and cache partition of wiping.

Xperia X does not radio Fm and no 4K to record video, if you are in these things, it is not appropriate you needs. If you are running on budget Z3 compact is a great device yet.

  • unlock my Sony Xperia z3 compact screen

I have a Sony Xperia z3 compact, I took my phone and the lock was on the screen when I went to unlock the keyboard don't pull up only google to talk cock rises and it does not take account of the how to make the return key board so I can't unlock my phone.

As nadine says it looks like the default keyboard has been disabled. It is possible to do when a keyboard of party 3:rd has been downloaded to the phone, and if the keyboard of the 3:rd group does not or is uninstalled it is possible that this can happen.

You have access to a USB OTG cable? To resolve this problem, you can connect a keyboard to the phone with a USB OTG cable, enter your password and then select the keyboard default settings-> language & entry-> current keyboard-> choose keyboards.

  • DAC USB on compact Z3

    Hi all

I used my Audioquest Dragonfly 1.2 CAD without any problems on my Samsung S4. With my compact new Z3, the Dragonfly connects and reading files 24-bit / 96 kHz, but the Z3 does not control the volume of the Dragonfly. The volume is always maximum.

The Z3 is not compatible with the Dragonfly? Someone at - it this combination work?

    Thank you very much

What you need to use is a magnetic adapter such as Magnector on Amazon... I bought 2 of the most recent and they sent me 4 units (2 new, 2 old) and they are great to charge the phone without having to open the shutters...

Also, I charge the phone when it is connected to a cable MHL and it loads faster than the said connection. And it works when you use the USB port as an OTG device. The magnetic port is one of the best features of our Xperias, its a thing that don't offer Samsung on their waterproof devices.

As a Board I would disconnect the magnetic adapter, to do it by separating them at an angle (as if you violate a cracker) because the magnet is strong enough and I am afraid to have the connector to remove my camera... so its been already posted here.

  • Transfer the data to one Compact Z5 to another by using a backup

    Simple question really:

My back to the top of a compact Z5 be usable an another new compact Z5? (to add all the data saved on a new phone)

    Hi @KevinBaykr,

You happen to already have a backup made in Companion Xperia? If you do, use the Xperia transfer function inside the software to transfer the backup to your new Z5 Compact.

If you have not already backup, use an OTG adapter to connect a wired USB mouse to navigate with your broken screen. Go to settings > phone > press the Build number down 7 times, once it is said that you are a developer go to settings > Developer options > enable USB debugging, then choose USB configuration and make sure that it is on the PSG.

When you now connect your device to your computer, it must be recognized so that you can create a backup in Xperia companion and later use Xperia transfer.

  • Post Apple DIY Mod Compact keyboard

    Hey

I'm looking for a compact keyboard for Mac, aka TKL keyboard. It is very rare and very expensive. If I cut my Apple keyboard position. Would this work? The keyboard would still be usable? Hope I do not sound crazy.

    Thank you!

It is extremely unlikely to work if you did. The main part of the keyboard is a giant circuit connecting all the keys for the controller and Sockets. It is almost certain that if you chopped off part of it as you suggest that some or all of the remaining keys would not work as some of the connections on this circuit is no longer connected.

If this can help remember that it is possible to use a PC USB with a Mac keyboard, and possibly the layout and size may be easier to find a form of PC.

  • After the update to 38.4.0 compaction to zero my Inbox and I can no longer connect to yahoo mail.

I had used TB for the years through to many updates of OS without any disasters, but after taking TB 38.4.0 all hell broke loose. (Note: I am still running XP.) A compact emptied my Inbox of hundreds of emails... the worst problem. I looked at other threads and I see there is a universal theme that it is my fault for compaction do not quite often. Rather than rising more than fuel on this fire, I decided to go... but I can't. When I do a TB of Messages is involved it connects with my POP server (Yahoo mail if it is important), but nothing ever comes. After the suggestion of another thread, I deleted popstate.dat, but that made no difference. (popstate.dat is not be recreated). I tried to send an email and all signs in TB it was sent but it never arrived at its destination. (I hate silent failures!) Close and restart TB several times and the results were always the same. Then I realized something simple and obvious. TB do not have to give me my password to connect to Yahoo, when I start TB. What is happening with this? I have no idea what needs to be changed or fixed! I'm almost ready to start using Outlook.

I think that your anti-virus is having a cow. Try to restart the operating system in safe mode with network. This loads only the basics needed to start your computer while allowing Internet access. Click on your operating system for instructions on how to start in safe mode: Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows Vista, Windows XP, OSX

If the safe mode for the operating system to resolve the problem, there are other software on your computer that is causing problems. The possibilities include but not limited to: AV scanning, virus/malware, background downloads such as updates of the program.
  • Compacting files: I get the message, "not enough disk space.

Compaction stops, a message on "not enough disk space. I tried to delete the .msf file and also delete "inbox." Nothing works.

The kind of details that really your search does not exist. Once I looked for something similar and some of these topics, I'm still trying to learn more.

But I can offer some advice.

IMAP. Words like Subscribe riffle and quota, inherent to the IMAP protocol and are not terms that you will find are defined in Thunderbird, or he has documentation. They are defined terms in the IMAP protocol, see RFC 3501

Their isn't a such thing as a remote folder, but IMAP is synchronized. essentially local copies of the mail are a cache to speed up performance, although there are options for do not keep local copies. My experience is that it's slow. I'm assuming that IMAP, it is that what you call remote folders.

Size limits on technical terms are difficult. Historically, Thunderbird has a limit of 4 GB per file. This has been deleted way back to IMAP. local POP e-mail accounts and local folder still have the limit, or at least bug if you exceed the limit. Whenever the developers think they killed the bugs, another arises.

What files are compacted. Why all of them! Compaction has a dual purpose. In IMAP account it purge deleted mail from the server (a permanent deletion) locally the large amounts of wasted space are compacted to recover used space again by mail folders as being deleted. The physical elimination of the deleted mail only occurs during compact.

Remove folder is as simple as right clicking them and selecting Remove. Some special folders and the local folders account space simply cannot be deleted.

There is a manual here http://en.flossmanuals.net/Thunderbird/ but I do not think that it deals with the issues you have raised.

  • How can I only compact SOME of my e-mail folders?

(I have already studied this days and obtained conflicting information - and leading to my distrust horror stories.)

How do I compact ONLY SOME of my folders (multiple email addresses)? A large part of my email is archival. I keep getting messages to clear disk space (I have more than 300 GB of available), but even after the DELETION of THOUSANDS OF E-MAILS, the amount of space to be clarified (?) increases. I tried setting up of new files, but I'm afraid of their compact because EVERY SINGLE ONE of my existing accounts shows the same message (you can delete up to - now 3.9 GB - of compaction space.) I need to make sure that ONLY PREVIOUSLY DELETED EMAILS will be compacted - and I keep seeing comments on your site people who compacted and LOST ALL OF THEIR EMAILS. (I can't tolerate what is happening to me). How to take care of this without losing important emails?
    Thank you.

Right-click on the folder, and then select Compact to individual records.
Most of the horror stories is people who do not compact on a basis regular. Compaction is a necessary maintenance task, and it must be done frequently.

  • Inbox completely empty after compacting folders

I had more than a hundred messages in my Inbox and they all disappeared after compaction. All other folders / accounts seem to be intact

Thunderbird had to be closed in the first place.
    then delete the file popstate.dat
    and then restart Thunderbird.

Please verify that you have completely left Thunderbird before you delete the file.

    and then restart Thunderbird.
Usually at start-up, Thunderbird will check messages on the server.
    Otherwise, click "get Messages".

  • Compaction ate folders for the second time. How to recover.

    Thunderbird 32.2.0 Win 7 pro
A compacting several weeks ago 'foot' of the emails (i.e. messed up to the point of unreconizability). Last compaction had removed at least one folder completely and maybe more. I guess that's a compaction because it preceded the two events. How can I stop this? How to do a recover my files of e-mail?

Recovery is probably not feasible, but to avoid recurrences, I suggest to rebuild the files affected in accordance with these instructions:

  • The folder in Inbox disappered after "compact folders" applied (and installed Lightning). MSF file seems to stay at the disk again. How to restore the folder?

I have several folders in the Inbox.
The last time (for months) Thunderbird asked to compact files. Last week, I deleted unnecessary messages in folders and applied "compact" on the Inbox (root) folder.
Today, that I discovered that one of the folders inside the Inbox disappeared. However when I look at the e-mail on local disk storage I still see msf file with the name of the record lost in the Inbox.sbd folder.
I also have installed lightning and Thunderbird update week last next to compression of files.
Can I restore folder in the Inbox?

is there another file of the same name, other than the MSF?
