  • Podcast it's version 2.4 (1125.29). But Appstore says version 2.3

Summary: The application of Podcast Apple version information does not match what is in the App store. And I can't get the app was updated as recommended by iTunes.

My Mac iTunes app claims that there is an update to the iOS Podcast app. But when I update, I get an error message telling me that I need to update in the App Store on my iPhone.

When I shoot to the top of the app store on my iPhone, this app does not appear the window updates. When I search the Podcast app, it only gives me the opportunity to go to the Podcast app.

In addition, update iTunes window claims that the Podcast version he wants to put up-to-date is 2.3 Update June 13, 2016 - 230KB. This is when Podcast app has started to appear in my Apps Update window. So that must be the current version.

When I go to the web version of the iTunes store, and I watch the Podcast app, he claims that the version is 2.3, the same thing as what shows in the Mac iTunes good App.

But when I go into settings > Podcast on my iphone, it says that my version is 2.4 (1125.29).

I must conclude that I'm somehow a different version of the Podcast Apple application that is on a different version control.

So I can't update. And I can't make sense of what's going on. Help!

You see this message by mistake. As you have you discovered already have the latest version and it was installed when you updated to iOS. The Podcasts app cannot be updated via iTunes.

Ignore the ore of the message or remove the app from iTunes Podcasts (not device).

  • renovation of the z820 bridge e5-2600 v2 Ivy

Anyone could upgrade their z820 to use the e5-2600 v2 ivy bridge processors yet? I updated the BIOS to v 3.50 but the workstation is not a POSTER. It just sits there with the fans running at high speed.

Have you guys checked the date of starting block? Make sure it is later as 06/03/2013 or something like that... Because I saw few systems Z820 (Ivy bridge) with 'no video' even after 3.50 BIOS updated.

Open the control panel and in the upper right, click the drop-down list next to "view in:

  • Z820 - on-site service of HP for a renewed system of HP Preferred Partner?

My Z820 is giving headaches to start more (Ref.: t5/Workstations-z-series-xw-series/Z820-BIOS-updated-to-v2-55-cannot-boot-or-install-Windows-7/td-p...).

I've exhausted all recovery options I could think.

I currently plan to contact HP for a verification of the system and/or repair.

This system was bought by the company, I work from a supplier 'HP Preferred Partner' in November 2012. It was renovated by the provider with the original HP components.

    I checked the warranty on:

    http://h10025.www1.HP.com/ewfrf/wc/weInput?CC=NL & destPage = weInput & LC = NL & tmp_docname =

I used the SN & SKU numbers I've seen in HP Vision diagnostic & BIOS. According to this site, the guarantee runs until June 2015. I'm not quite sure if this warranty is valid for my refurbished workstation...

This system is always able to HP service (on-site)?

    Greetings,

    Dries

Yes, you still have warranty complete just on-site, you can call, give them the serial number and make them go out and replace the MB.

Don't mention even the word "renovated" as it has nothing to do with a faulty machine.

  • HP Z820 - BIOS 02.55 rev A - SSD on LSI SAS 2308 do not start... "Non-system disk...". »

    Hello

MY Z820 workstation is equipped with an Intel 520 240 GB SSD as boot drive, on the integrated LSI SAS 2308 controller. It is a GPT disk.

I just tried to update my BIOS Rev 02.08 Z820. at 02.55 a. rev.

The update succeeded, and in the BIOS, I check that all the settings are the same as before the update. On the boot, however, I get an error saying "Non system disk or disk error."

Mass strorage option ROM is set to EFI mode.

No matter what the settings, it does not start in Windows.

I started 02.08 BIOS Rev A and now all is well again.

Is there a compatibility issue with the BIOS 02.55 Rev A combo, Intel SSD 520 and LSI SAS 2308?

    Kind regards

  • Z820 - BIOS updated to v2.55 - cannot start or install the installation of Windows 7 (UEFI) disc

    Hello

I have serious problems with the boot and install Windows 7 on my Z820.

My problems started with Windows Boot Manager, throwing an error in the boot, saying that "the Windows Boot Configuration data file is missing required information". In the end, I decided to do a full clean reinstall of WIndows. However, I was unable to get Windows 7 installed. I was able to boot the disc at retail of Windows 7 64-bit UEFI mode, but he had problems with the installation. Each attempt ended with an error stating that 'Windows could not update the configuration to start the computer. Installation cannot continue. ».

It was the BIOS v2.08. Intel 520 (240 GB) SSD as boot drive and 2 TB SATA HARD drive as data disc on the ports of controller LSI 2308 0 and 1 respectively. 2 DVD players on Intel AHCI ports.

I decided to take a different path.

I removed my data HDD and a DVD of the Z820 player. I put my SSD (which will become the startup disk) and a DVD player on both ports to AHCI.

I've updated the Z820 BIOS with the latest version (v2.55, February 13, 2013), did a reset CMOS (machined cable disconnected) and reset the BIOS to factory default settings. Then, I put 'OptionROM mass storage' mode EFI and the storage on AHCI mode.

Now, when I put in retail Windows 7 SP1 64-bit installation DVD and select the drive of DVD (UEFI) to start, I get just a flashing dash. I noticed also that some fans begin immediately turn faster.

    To summarize:

I am unable to boot Windows 7 SP1 64 bit DVD installation detail at all and therefore impossible to install Windows 7.

Configuration of the system (as in the last installation attempt):

    -Dual Xeon E5-2680

    -32 GB OF RAM DDR3-1600 PC3-12800

-240 GB SSD IDE AHCI Intel oucederomsurlesecondport 520

    DVD player - Harbour AHCI

    -NVIDIA Quadro 4000

-BIOS v2.55 (OptionROM in EFI, Secure Boot disabled mode mass storage)

    I'm getting desperate... ;-)

Should I try reseating the RAM modules? Remove some RAM? Connect my monitor differently (currently DVI to VGA)? Replace the graphics card?

    Kind regards

    Dries

In the safety device is the LSI controller set to device available and under device options is Donwload ROM option enabled.

If they are both correct so I would say that your MB doesn't have, I got 3 failure already on my 6 systems! Not been more reliable work stations to this day.

For intergatting search device & patches for WinToolKit, I can share my images because they contain information about the company & registered software.

  • HP Z820 hang after F10 at startup

    Hello

Yesterday, I received a z820 new with FreeDOS. Installed SUSE 11 and applied the fixes of the CED Z820 HP - everything seemed to work fine.

After a while I decided to restart, but without success - after the start power HP screen, the workstation detects disk HARD 4. By pressing a key to result a black screen without any message.

Pressing F10 after market results in the message "Entering setup" and the system hangs. It's very strange that I can't get into the BIOS!  Is there a solution?

Thanks in advance for any help and comments.

    Finally, the problem was located.

I took out all the hard drives and then the work center has been able to accept the F9, F10 and other commands.

Knowing the problem, it was easy to reconfigure the 4 hard drives in a RAID.

This will destroy all information on the hard drives, but the system has now responded to F10, F9 etc.

Next step is to reinstall the operating system.

Hope that tomorrow to have success with SUSE 11.

  • Z820: Video not fluid Z820 Win10

I upgrade the OS of HP Z820 workstation for Windows 64-bit 10.  The graphics card is nVidia Quadro 6000.

So, I installed the latest win10 from nvidia gfx driver (354.56, 364.72, etc.)

All things work correctly, except a problem that is boring/adjacent.

During video playback, the video is not fluid if I open facebook on a browser.  The video will still be playing, but every 3-4 seconds, the video jerk 0.x dry, then continue, then jerk off once again, continue.

Saccades will disappear, if I do the application of Windows Media Player.

But if I move my mouse to the browser or any other application and make it active, the video in windows media playback will jerk off again.

If I close the browser or the Facebook, saccades tab stops as well.

I tried to upgrade the Gfx driver for the latest win10 from nvidia gfx driver, does not help.

I tried different media player, VLC, Windows MediaPlayer, TV film, all the same behavior.

This leads me to suspect due to the Gfx card or the driver, but would like to look for reviews in the forum first.

    Hi @JoshuaFung,

Do you get this problem after winning 10 improvement only or he was there with previous operating system as well?

You are affected by this problem in video files only or otherwise as system lag.

And you can try to update the graphics driver version that is available on the hp website below:

I hope that answers your question.

  • Z820: Z820 Windows 10 question - pci bus 0, device 22, function 3

HI guys! Try to set up a fast enough for 4 k machine NLE here, began with a refurb Z820. Managed to get 10 Windows running without much of a fight. One last question, that I can't understand and I watched and read until my eyes covered in blood with no posotive result.

In - other devices - Pci Serial Port Device Manager.  I have a Pci bus 0, device 22, only function 3 no error driver installed. As far as I know I installed all the drivers, updates, etc., etc... at least two times.

As everyone on this forum has more experience with HP workstations then I thought that I would return it to the wiser.

    Thank you for your help.

    o.k. now.

Retrace my steps, always a good thing when lost and confused, I realized that when I installed the Intel sp744499.exe management software, I didn't follow directive and that run the extract program of it is installed destination! Down & here when end of step B as written in the release notes, you no longer have to fix the latter on issues. Lesson learned - read all the instructions you can find, including the release notes.

Thanks again to Paul who tried to save my sight.

  • z820 workstation: Hp z820 troubleshooting installation windows 7

    Dear expert HP,

    Thank you for your time

I need advice to install windows 7 Professional on HP z820 workstation product number is WM441EA #ABU. I tried many things, but a mistake ((no driver device not found)) is always indicated.

    Like the attached photo.

    Do things that I have

-RAID + sata to IDE mode AHCI passant... which is my only option

-change the sata IDE compatible mode to improve

    -Disabling EFI boot Sources

    -Disabling the boot legacy sources.

These measures all lead go me, i.e. no device driver were found. my best shot the installation continue but without a hard drive display for format or delete.

    All boards

    Thank you

    Hello:

With the BIOS RAID + AHCI value, see if it works...

I zipped and tied the Intel storage controller drivers for your model below.

Download and unzip the files in the folder.

Get a USB flash drive and copy the files in the folder on the flash without the record player.

With the drive plugged into a port USB 2, and W7 in the PC installation media, start from the W7 installation media.

After selecting the install now option, select the training - Advanced menu, Options and select the option load a driver.

You should now see the storage driver files listed.

If you check the box, it only includes the compatible driver.

Follow the prompts and I hope, will install W7.

  • z820: looking for a software raid manage and view the status of disks hard raid

    HP z820 workstation,

    product # D3J63UT

I'm looking for raid management software

    Thank you.

I suggest that you follow the steps listed in the HP Document: "Z - series Workstation detection and fixing a hard drive failure within the RAID Controller utility" in the URL: http://h20564.www2.hp.com/hpsc/doc/public/display?docId=emr_na-c04474148#N10829 you can find instructions how to enter each State type of RAID (Intel RST, 2308 LSI and LSI 9260-8i controller - It's the main RAID controllers usually associated with the HP Z820 workstation according to the particular configuration you ordered). Note that in most of the cases described in this document, you need to access the configuration of RAID controller during computer startup steps, by pressing CTRL + I (for Intel RST) or CTRL + C (for LSI 2308) or CTRL + H (by LSI 9260-8i). The installation program uses the RAID controller firmware and does not require to install complex inside Windows software, because it is done outside of the Windows operating system before starting. Find more details in "HP Z220 SFF, CMT Z220, Z420, Z620 and Z820 workstations maintenance and Service Guide" in the URL: http://h20628.www2.hp.com/km-ext/kmcsdirect/emr_na-c04205252-1.pdf , in the devices of annex b: Setup RAID (pp. 161-171) all types of RAID controllers that are relevant at the workplace Z820 are discussed.

  • HP Z820 workstation: Z820 HP does start, fans at high speed, no BIOS, no signal in the monitor.

    Hello world

    My listing of workstation: HP Z820, Dual Xeon E5-2687W @ 3.1 - 3, 8 GHz, graphic card Nvidia quadro K5000, 64 GB RAM, 2 x 500 GB HARD drive.
The workstation is still under warranty.

They arrived after upgrade to Windows 10 (from 8.1 to Windows) and put such BIOS updated as recommended by HP support Assistant.

I was on the process to refresh the 10 Windows , then the system automatically tried rebooting to complete the update, but he never did it again! and then the fans running at full speed. After waiting for 2-3 minutes, I had to hold the power button to turn off the computer.

After waiting for about 10 minutes, I tried to start the computer, but the same thing happened: you press the button power and then after about a minute , fans rotating at high speed, no signal, no BIOS, no noise, no power in the keyboard or mouse, the blue LED light to the rear.

So I let the computer without power for 7 hours... (The power cable is disconnected).

At 11:00: reconnected the power cable (HDD and DVD ROM are DISCONNECTED) and tried to start but the same thing happened.

Now, I'm on google to find a solution:

    1. power? (Have not yet been tested food.)
2 motherboard? No damage to the capacitors or anything else.
3 reset the BIOS/CMOS? (Power disconnected cable) Removed the battery and put it back it, held the CMOS button for 5 seconds.
4 graphics card? Replaced the K5000 Quadro with a Quadro 4000.
    5. exercise of the power of the system? held the power button with the power cord unplugged for 30 seconds.

None of the above solves the problem but now when you press the power button / the fans start to run at high speed immediately! This got worse?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

The problem is a faulty motherboard and it was replaced under warranty.
