Zero fill

It is an easy one that I expected.

I want to create a form with a stroke but no fill. When I click on the filler panel in the top bar of the interface, it's me options to change the color but can select empty. Where this would usually have a white box with a single red line through it in other programs like Illustrator.

Help

No, doesn't work that way. For layers that you spin open to form the hierarchy of form in the timeline panel and simply remove the fill.

  • Fill a table 2D with a set number of zeros by rank

    Hello!

I have a 2D with m rows and n columns table: ((x11,x12,x13,...,x1n),(x21,x22,x23,...,x2n),(x31,x32,x33,...,x3n),...,(xm1,xm2,xm3,...,xmn)), where xij means the element in row i and column j and xij is a real number.

I need fill out each line with a number previously set of zeros per row and at the beginning of each line.  For example 5 zeros must be added at the beginning of the first row, two in the second row, 4 to the third row,..., 6 in the last row:

    ((0,0,0,0,0,x11,x12,x13,...,x1n,0),(0,0,x21,x22,x23,...,x2n,0,0,0,0),(0,0,0,0,x31,x32,x33,...,x3n,0,0),...,(0,0,0,0,0,0,xm1,xm2,xm3,...,xmn))

I have added zeros to the end to keep the lengths of line between them

Can you please help me with the code?

If you autoindex the 2D array and concatenate each line in an array of 1 d zero filled with defined length, then autoindex the right limit to again form a 2D picture, the lines will be completed correctly automatically.

    Hi all!
I use SeaTools for DOS for many years to fill the hard drive of my old ancient PC from scratch and never has a problem. However, today when I had zero fill the Momentus ST9500325AS 500 GB SATA laptop 1 year, I got to know that the last SeaTools for DOS can not find a controller to read my hard drive. My laptop has Intel HM67 chipset. As the 'last' SeaTools BACK has been updated in 2011, I understand very well that Seagate does not update the tool to add the controller of my chipset. So all I want to ask is, how do I zero fill my drive now? Should I go for some other tools? Are they reliable? Please suggest some good I knew that nothing else than seatools for zero fill.

    Hi Satyam,

Formatting zeros is a comprehensive method of wiping a disk storage. When formatting a storage drive deletes data on the surface, the data can still be recovered until it is replaced. Formatting the storage disk wipes zeros, replaces the data deleted by a series of zeros and then wipe the drive again to make recovery of data beyond the civil means. Zeros of formatting is usually done to hard disk drives and flash drives can also benefit from the method.

We can refer to this article and check if that helps.

Yes like Doug says you have the same fill rule the odd value and makes that happen if you change this return must be completed if you have applied a pathfinder command to art.

Once you have changed the zero fill rule no winding you can if you want to apply the command unit in the pathfinder, which will give you a nice clean path compound with which you can work.

  • Map of CRC-16 TR - M Communication, Modbus RTU

I'm writing the procedure for generation of CRC - 16 for Communication if card - M from TECO Electric and Machining Company.  Here's the algorithm that they provide to generate the word of CRC - 16 (attached is my attempt to implement, I look forward to suggestions).  Here are verbatim:

    A. load a 16-bit register with FFFFH.  Call it the CRC register.

    B. Exclusive or the first 8-bit byte of the message with the low byte of the CRC 16-bit registers, put the result in the register of the CRC.

Register to shift of c. CRC one bit to the right (towards the LSB), zero filling the MSB.  Extract and examine the LSB.

    D. If the LSB is 0, repeat the procedure C (another change).  If LSB is 1, exclusive or the CRC register with the value of the polynomial A001H.

    E. Repeat C, D, until the eight shifts were made.  Wile to do this, a full byte will have been treated.

    F. repeat the procedure B-E to the byte following the message so that all the bytes of the message is processed.

    G. when the CHILD is placed in the message, TI upper and lower bytes are to be swapped.

If anyone understands this, please feel free to tell me where I would not (see attachment).

    See you soon!

I have attached a vi that comes with the Modbus LV library.  You should get the answer.

  • 4 days ago, I asked if someone could help with a VIRUS of ROOT KIT in 8. What about the root kit advice at all?

Microsoft technical support does not have to deal with such a question of virus it early- and the whole reason I tried Windows 8 was to see if I could work to use it. The virus just kept hit me offline on others so I wasn't able to work for more than 40 days!

Of course, this strategy has worked and I'm beginning to really love 8. But I have installed and reinstalled XP, Vista and 7, so many times trying to control this thing all my files are backup players. The line at the bottom is so, does anyone have solid advice on how to get rid of a kit root on ANY operating system, IE one makes it easier than the other, and how do you get rid of a virus of root? They are invisible to all except unix software.
    Thanks for all the ideas,

Low level formatting (zero / filling/zero-write) to aid diagnosis and utilities bootable from the hard drive manufacturer.  Install your operating system, your application antivirus and anti malicious app of choice.  Computer practice of common sense.

  • Rename several files from (001) & not (1)?

When I play my photo files in a slideshow on my TV, the software slide show TV 'sequences' my files photo (1), (11), (12), (13), (14), (15), (16), (17), (18), (19), (2), etc. (21) AND NOT in the order digital (1), (2), (3), etc. (4).

So, when "rename multiple files" in Windows XP, is possible to order the files of sequences of numbers such as: - (01), (02), (03) (04) or (001), (002) (003), (004) etc. instead of the standard (1), (2), (3), (4)...?

There is a freeware program called "Bulk Rename Utility".  If this program can not do what you want (and I'm sure it will be) then it cannot be done.  Method 10 is a "numbering" option which will be pré-pend or add a number to the name starting with zeros (filling) that you specify.  The program is a little overwhelming, but it comes with a good manual.

    In truth?

Get (hard drive manufacturer that is) manufacturer's diagnostics utilities and run them in zero / filling/zero-write (low-level format) the player and then install the operating system from a well known source (CD/DVD) and all your programs (CD/DVD/known good download site) and then restore your files to a safe backup you have scanned for questions.

Download and use the Diagnostics utility by the hard drive manufacturer to analyze the hard disk completely to find errors.  My suggestion, if you find no errors, is to ensure that your backups are current format and low level of the player in question (zero / filling/zero-write).  Next, install your Windows XP, SP1a + SP3 + many post-SP3 updates.

Also - have you got the latest drivers from web sites by the manufacturer of material for various hardware components in your machine?  No operating system comes with all the (or even most) drivers for hardware devices.  :-)

  • Unable to read the security descriptors data stream

Whenever I start my computer runs CHKDSK - it says checking file system on E: and then he said that it should be checked for consistency. It works until stage 3 when he says 'impossible to read the security descriptors data stream' how to fix this?

I tried chkdsk e:/r and it runs before step 3 when I get the "unable to read the security descriptors data stream" and it goes no further.

I also tried fsutil dirty query e:- but it says something about a parameter incorrect and not if the volume is dirty or clean.

Then I tried chkdsk e:/f/x - that always gives me the same mistake about it being an incorrect setting.

As far as I know there is absolutely nothing on E:, I didn't even know that there was an additional drive. Right now I have it turned off so that I can use my computer. It seems to work fine without it. I read an article that said that if I can't fix e: with chkdsk which I have to do a low-level format of the reader? What's my next step? And I can do without the XP disc?

    The syntax

    fsutil dirty query e:

is correct (except, of course, you try to use from the Recovery Console, where the fsutil command is not available).  Are you logged on as a user with administrative rights when you use fsutil?

Similarly, the switches /f and/x are not available for chkdsk in the Recovery Console.

    See Recovery Console controls.

Click on desktop then right-click on E: drive icon and select Properties.  What is indicated for:

    • File system
    • Space used
    • Free space
    • Capacity

Now double click the icon for E: are shown files?  If not, click Tools > Folder Options > view and select the radio button "Show hidden files and folders" and uncheck "Hide protected files (recommended) operating system.  Now that you see all the files?

Everything you read 'low level of shaped' is nonsense.  Any modern PC drive cannot be low level formatted by end users.  You can read this, but there is really no necessary even to "zero fill" your drive E: http://seagate.custkb.com/seagate/crm/selfservice/search.jsp?DocId=203931 (I have not checked to see if the WD tools rescuer has similar characteristics to SeaTools for DOS).

If you are convinced that there is nothing of value on E (for example, installation of backup or restore), you can either format by right-clicking on the drive icon in my computer and selecting "format" or you can start disk management as described previously and use either in electronic format or delete the partition completely.  If you delete the partition, space becomes "unallocated".

Because I guess C is your system drive (where Windows is), you may be able to use the diskpart tool to extend the partition F to use the unallocated space left if you decide to remove E well it's much easier (and safer) to do with disk management third-party tools such as Easeus Partition Manager free : http://www.partition-tool.com/personal.htm

  • How can I reboot my pc (reformat)? Windows XP - want to remove ALL - please help, thank you!

attempt to delete everything on my pc! Please sumone help! Thank you very much.

You want to reinstall Windows XP, or you want to install another operating system?  Or you want to erase everything because you want to sell or give away your computer?

If you want to reinstall Windows XP you have a Windows XP CD?  You have the product key all important?  Without the product key, you will not be able to install Windows.

If you just want to reinstall Windows XP for your own use then just boot the computer with your Windows XP CD and press screen printing 'Welcome' to install Windows and the next screen, press F8 to accept the end user license agreement.  After accepting the EULA, you will be presented a list of partitions and disks available, simply select the partition where you want to install Windows and have the installer to format the partition and then follow the instructions on the screen.

Note that formatting does not erase the files on the drive, everything simply writes a new boot sector and erases the record of all entries table and shows the disc under vacuum for the operating system.  You can get the free files (such as TestDisk) recovery utilities that can easily recover formatted partition.  Even if you reinstall the system operating, commercial data recovery can still recover files in areas that have not been replaced with the new files after you have formatted the drive.  Obvioyusly is not in the safest thing if you want to give or sell your computer, or if you want to remove the stubborn MBR or boot sector virus, in this case you want to zero fill the drive and rebuild it.  Get a zero fill utility (disk wiping) and fill the disk with zeros, this will completely destroy all data on the disk and prevent recovery of files.  You can get a zero utility filling of the manufacturer of your drive, or you can use one of them (Secure Erase is my preferrence):

    Secure erase

    Darik Boot And Nuke (DBAN)

(Note that these utilities are not suitable for SCSI drives, if you have disks SCSI contact the manufacturer for a suitable utility)

After fill you to zero the drive start just the computer with the Windows XP CD and the Setup disk selection screen will see and present as a new disk.  Create a partition and format, then proceed with the installation of Windows.  Don't make the mistake of installing Windows on a partition too small, better to use the entire disk rather than running out of space more later!

Native and favorite of the filesystem for windows XP is NTFS, format the NTFS partition, unless you have compelling reasons to use a different file system.

And yet once, remember that you can not install Windows without the product key, you must ensure that you have the key before format or erase the disk.  Without the key, you'll be up the proverbial Creek!

  • Recovery disks will still work if I wipe the HARD drive?

Hey everybody! I have a quick question and I hope one of you can tell me if I'm about to make a huge mistake.

My HP Pavillion Dv6 had serious problems and chkdsk deleted a lot of clues. I worked on the problem of HARD drive and looks is not default (no bad sectors, only of weakness). I read that zero-filling can help with HARD drive problems.

My only question is that I don't know if I'll be able to just reinstall after I have zeros, because the building programs will be wiped. I have an application and Driver Recovery CD and a DVD of system recovery that I have used before. These will still work if I have zero filling? Or I need something else?

Thank you very much for your help!

    Sadie

    Hi Sadie,

Yes, your recovery disks will work if set you to zero the whole HARD drive (they would also work on a new HARD drive if you need to replace the existing one).

When reloading the operating system, you choose the "Factory Reset" option will reinstall the OS and recreate all the original scores.

    Kind regards
