  I was able to overcome this problem by following these steps for Windows 7. First, go to the control panel and uninstall all the programs related to Zoo Tycoon. Then, type "regedit" in the search box after clicking on the button 'start '. You can search "zoo" and delete the entries that correspond to the "CLEAR" Zoo Tycoon, nothing else. Then go to the computer, then the drive Local (c), then Program Files (x 86), then the information of InstallShield. A list of folders will fill. Look at the dates and try to determine where you originally installed Zoo Tycoon 2 and delete these folders. So try and re - install Zoo Tycoon 2 and it should install correctly. Apparently, the developer, Blue Fang Games, neglected aspects of the use of InstallShield and program still considers that it is installed by looking at the InstallShield folder that was created when you initially installed the game! By deleting this file, it will install then.

  I had first of all of Zoo Tycoon 2 and I installed and it has played without problems.   (a) create a folder on the desktop

  (b) Insert the CD/DVD, open Windows Explorer by clicking on start on the computer

  (c) open the CD/DVD drive, copy all the files and paste it into the folder on the desktop

  (d) run the .exe file in elevated mode of the folder on the desktop by right click on the .exe file by clicking Run as administrator.

  I tried several times to install Zoo Tycoon 2 'guardians of Zoo Collection' on my PC with WIN 7 64 bit, but for the life of me, I can't make it work. Everytime I try to start the game I get an error box saying I don't have enough graphics memory. Of course this is not the case because I have a Nvidia Ge Force 8800 GT with 256 MB of ram with a quad core and 8 GB RAM. So it's not like my system it cannot manage.   • You install this game from a cd?

  If you use a CD or DVD to install this game, I recommend copying the contents of the CD/DVD on the desktop and try again. It is possible that one of the files in the CD is damaged.
  You can also try to clean the disc with a soft cloth and try again.
   
  If the installation of the game is stored on a computer again one of the files is missing or damaged.
  If you have a CD/DVD of the game trying to install using them.
