0328 - A11 - disable Bluetooth

I use the Thinkpad Edge 0328-A11 unit. I recently had reimagee and have encountered a problem when the redownloading drivers.

Before the update, it was possible for me to press F9 for the on-screen display to toggle the WIFI and Bluetooth. I had downloaded a driver, which means that when I turned off Bluetooth and WIFI left on that he would remember the next time. So if the cut-out of radio wireless has been on off and back on it would remember what I had, leaving WIFI on and Bluetooth turned off.

However, now that it is reimagee it doesn't have the driver and I don't remember which ones I downloaded which would give me this result. Any idea on that one, it could be?

Thank you

Hello2215

Usually, you can disable and enable the Bluetooth functionality by using the FN + F8 key combination.

    Try this!

I first try a hard reset, just take out your battery for about 5 seconds and could again. Usually, which solves a lot of problems. If it is still on, it may be a software problem, but is not certain.

    Hello

I am using TOSHIBA SATELLITE L655-1HC, recently upgraded to 10 of Windows, but my Bluetooth is not be disabled.

I tried everything, but no result at all. I think maybe it's like the driver support for Windows 7.

How can I for me? or is there another solution to make of (the necessary key is missing, by the way).

    1. go to "Device Manager".
    2. in Device Manager, expand Bluetooth.
    3. right click generic Bluetooth adapter and update the driver.
    4. re-start.
    5. now you should be able to turn off/turn on the BT

  • A100-192 virtual sound utility disabled Bluetooth battery Installation

When I used exchanger automatic installation of the Bluetooth stack for windows Toshiba Bluetooth information took place and I noticed after several procedures of formatting my system (in order to put everything to the initial state) that do this usefulness of its virtual Toshiba works do not. I tried to uninstall and reinstall this utility from Add/Remove programs in Control Panel of Conrol and the only thing I managed to get is a reminder of windows start menu "installed a new program," I can't turn off after you restart the system several times.

I noticed that a sound driver was installed during the installation of Bluetooth but it happened so fast, I don't think that was it.

    Hello Apostolos

I put t know exactly what happened and why, but I know that on my unit when the BT device is activated for the first time there are several pieces of hardware that must be installed. After a few minutes, all new hardware from BT will be displayed in the Device Manager and BT can be used.

I've never really heard it can disable the Toshiba tool or utility, but it is very interesting opinion. If you enable virtual sound utility new in the modus or stay whenever when you use BT sound is disabled virtual?

  • How to disable bluetooth?

    Hello

I just got a g4-2368 Pavilion, with Windows 8.  I am looking for a way to disable the Bluetooth connection when I don't use, so far without success.

In other portable HP that I used, I had HP connection manager or used HP Wireless Assistant available for this exact task, but the machines Windows XP or 7 is installed. It seems that all applications are available to win 8. Anyway, I installed the wireless Assistant, but it does not work I have the machine, because it doesn't detect any wireless network card.

Y other another way (other than the activation and deactivation of the Device Manager)?

    Hey Morgoth,

You can essentially disable the Bluetooth by UNCHECKING the checkbox that allows Bluetooth connections to your computer.

    See the document below:

    Using Bluetooth (Windows 8) devices

When the box is turned OFF, Bluetooth devices are not allowed to connect to your computer.

  • HP 15-AF006AX: enable/disable Bluetooth

I see that bluetooth is still on and the only way to turn it off is to disable from Device Manager. So I was wondering if there is a way to turn on bluetooth power without going through the Device Manager.

Additional information: HP Wireless Assistant is not compatible with this model of laptop, so it's not an option

    Hello:

You can probably use the HP Connection Manager software...

  • T61 with disabled bluetooth

I have a pc at work witch a bluetooth disabled.

It is not present in the control panel.

It is enabled in the BIOS. Have no idea how I can activate bluetooth?

I still don't know what system OS you are using, but here is the driver for XP:

    http://www-307.IBM.com/PC/support/site.WSS/document.do?sitestyle=Lenovo&lndocid=MIGR-70450

After downloading, you must unpack it from the following directory: C > drivers > win > Bluetooth (or something similar with a B)...

    Vista driver:

    http://www-307.IBM.com/PC/support/site.WSS/document.do?sitestyle=Lenovo&lndocid=MIGR-70042

We'll see if it's just the drivers that have been removed, or something more complicated...

Good luck and let us know.

  • Disabled Bluetooth wireless card device error Code 43 Manager

Original title: Bluetooth wireless card disabled by windows.

There is this problem that I've been repeatedly for a long time where randomly, my Dell Wireless 370 Bluetooth minicards stops working and I can't put it back on without doing a clean reinstall of the driver. Sometimes it is very difficult to do, because in this case, my computer sometimes think that my bluetooth mouse is still connected, so it won't let me activate the touchpad mouse. When this happens, I can not access my devices manually by removing the mouse. Quite simply, nothing happens when I try to open the bluetooth devices.

I see the bluetooth in my device manager card, but the Properties window that it has this error message:

"Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43) »

If I turn off and then turn on the device, it works very well for about 2 seconds, but then the problem comes back. Restarting the computer does not set it. Try to update the driver not fixed not. Try to reinstall the driver works only if it is completely clean uninstall, and then I reinstall mode without failure. However, the problem is never permanently attached and eventually come back somewhere between 2 days and 2 weeks later.

    I have an Alienware M17x.

Someone at - it a way to make Windows to stop disabling the bluetooth card? In addition, it would be much easier to solve this problem if the computer would not automatically disable my touchpad (refusing to turn it back on, same with the fn - f12) when he thinks a mouse is connected. Does anyone know how to fix the part of it? It truly is a train wreck.

    Hello

Driver is a software designed for a particular device, which communicates between the device and the operating system. Because of this feature of the device driver software is recognized by the operating system and it starts to work.

Code 43 is displayed in Device Manager when the bluetooth device driver informs the operating system that the device failed. If the device fails, there is a problem with the device and must be replaced.

You can contact Dell technical support for replacement and get help.

  • Fusion 5 disabling Bluetooth

I have read the communities and have tried everything to my knowledge. I'm running a trial version of Fusion 5 with Lion OS and Windows 7 Ultimate edition. Whenever I turn on the virtual machine on that the bluetooth is disabled instantly my side Mac then passes on the side of windows. I do not have 'bluetooth devices share' on the value, but I tried both directions with the same result. Interestingly, when I have the virtual machine in the Mac screen (IE not full screen) the cursor can't leave the windows screen. Bluetooth allows even once when I knew windows down and power off the virtual machine. I use the bluetooth mouse mighty mouse and Apple keyboard.

    Any other suggestions?

Thank you very much in advance.

Status (enable or disable) can only be checked when the virtual machine is running. Please turn on your virtual machine to see if this option is checked. BTW, when you enable this 'Apple Bluetooth USB Host Controller' you can use your bluetooth on a current virtual machine host Mac (other virtual machines cannot be used too), as well as the use of a USB device. If you want to use both on Mac host and VM, please enable "share the Bluetooth devices with windows."

  • MacBook Pro (2015) - cannot disable Bluetooth keyboard

I bought a new MacBook Pro - 13 "with Retina display last year (2015). Everything has been excellent work until a week ago when I start my computer, the keyboard and the trackpad no longer work, as he begins to search for a bluetooth keyboard.

I have never used a bluetooth on the computer and can only get this to stop after anywhere from 5-15 and forced reboots. Is there a way to fix this? I read the older forums and have tried to remove the Bluetooth.plist and restart the computer, run disk utility, but nothing seems to solve the problem permanently. For any help or suggestion would be greatly appreciated!

     Sys Prefs - Bluetooth - off?

  • How to make so that it starts with the disabled bluetooth?

I would like to use bluetooth as soon as possible in case of need, but it should be off by default for security reasons.
    Is this possible?

To activate/deactivate the BT module, you need 4 seconds together WLAN turn position and FN + F8 allows to toggle the BT module.
As far as I know the BT software is by default configured to start with the operating system. In the taskbar you will see BT icon, but it will be red (off) when you turn on the BT module color will turn blue and BT is ready for use.

What you can do is to leave the WLAN switch on and when you need BT simply press FN + F8 to toggle the BT module.

  • You can disable Bluetooth only on Apple Watch?

Hi, I have to turn off my bluetooth.

When I access the Bluetooth settings, I saw that the watch try to connect to a device (device) and is in constant search (Buscando). This action consumes a lot of battery. I know that the airplane mode, but I don't turn off bluetooth.

    Thank you!!!

    Hello

It is not possible to turn off only the Bluetooth. However, there is no need to do.

Going into settings > Bluetooth on your watch shows your watch to start the search from one additional Bluetooth device that was placed in pairing mode. For example, you can pair it with a Bluetooth headset. When you exit this screen, it stop looking for an additional device.

For optimal performance of your watch and your iPhone, also leave both Bluetooth and Wi - Fi enabled at all times on your iPhone.
