  • You met the C00D10D1 error message when you use Windows Media Player

    Hello

I have no sound through Windows Media Player and also a player from Youtube and BBCi.  I have the following error message, please notify :-)

You met the C00D10D1 error message when you use Windows Media Player. The following information can help you resolve the problem.

    Codec is missing

Windows Media Player cannot play the file (or can't play the part of the file either audio or video) because theMP3 - codec MPEG Layer III (55) is not installed on your computer.

The missing codec may be available for download on the Internet. For more information about codecs, seeCodecs: frequently asked questions.

    Hello

    1. What is the file type or extension that you try to play?

If you get a message stating that your computer is missing a codec, you are probably trying to play, burn, or sync a file that was compressed by using a codec that does not include Windows or the default player. You will need to download codecs.

    Hello

Have you made changes on the computer before this problem?

I suggest you try these methods and check the status of the issue.

    Method 1:

Keep the computer in a clean boot and check the status of the issue. If everything works well after a clean boot, you can deduce that some third-party services are at the origin of the problem. Continue with the remaining steps to pin-point on the third party service. After find you the program that is causing the problem, you will have to perhaps to update or install a newer version of the program, if you rarely use that you should consider uninstalling the software.

Do you have other accounts of users on this PC?  If you install this update from the main account?

You should get the number of the update of the updated history list and then download the file here: Microsoft downloads.
If sure that nothing else is running, and then install the update manually.  Give it a try and let us know the results.

  • 0x800F0826 error code when you install Windows Vista Service Pack 1

I bought Adobe Creative Suite CS4, so the installer tells me that I am in need of Vista Service Pack 1 to continue to install the programs. So, naturally, I go online and try to find the Service Pack 1. Mind you, I was never even offered the service pack via Windows Update... I wasn't even aware that they came out with ALL the service packs for Windows Vista. I am running Home Premium, by the way.

So find a download of the Service Pack and it ends after about an hour and a half. I'm going to install the service pack, and everything seems to go well until a few hours later when I get back to my computer and I have a message waiting on my office saying that the installation has failed. I studied the error code I received online (0x800F0826), and I noticed that a lot of people said it had to do with the updates that had already failed to install on Windows Update. Well, a lot of commentators on the issue suggested looking in Windows Update history and are looking for any updates. Well, it turns out that I have TONS that had failed in the past. I read that the updates that had a different other than 0x800F0826 error code were probably the cause of the problem. Well, they ALL have a different other than 0x800F0826 error code.

What I noticed though, is that all have the error code: 80070057. I was eager to get a glimpse of this problem pretty quickly because I have a class to come within 10 days that requires the use of Adobe CS4 software and I can not install it until I get the service pack work! Any help would be GREATLY appreciated! Thank you.

    Hi notpaul,
If you have not yet resolved this so I will answer your questions regarding upgrade\restore.  If you have a bunch of updates failed and are not offered SP1, the faster would be to do a factory restore.  Then immediately, run Windows Update until you are offered are no longer updated.  Then you can reinstall the programs and data.
If you want to upgrade to Windows 7, so make sure that you perform the custom installation.  This option will do a clean install of the operating system.  You will need to reinstall your programs and would need to make a backup of all your data before the installation.  Here is a link to Windows 7 install information. Try to reduce the amount of RAM installed on a unique key and try again.

If you have several hard drives attached, disconnect all except the disk target hard.

If you have compatible hardware and your computer still stops responding, disable any unnecessary material. Remove (USB) universal serial bus devices. Remove or disable network cards, sound cards and cards of the series; and then restart the installation.

  • get this error code when I use windows backup or set a date to restore 0x8007007B

get the error 0x8007007B when I try to set the resrore or back up files is because I have given dell safe? Inspiron windows 7 64 bit

    Hello

Please join Microsoft Community where you can find the necessary information on Microsoft products!

You can't use the backup and restore feature of Windows 7 and get error 0x8007007B.

This can happen due to antivirus programs.

I suggest you follow the steps mentioned below:

    Method 1:

    a. right-click on computer and choose Properties.

    b. click on the System Protection.

    c. in the list of available drives, see if you have a partition into two (2 times the same partition), one with the missing Word or missing.

    d. If Yes, uncheck this missing partition.

Method 2: Turn off the antivirus

    See the site:

    Disable the anti-virus software

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-in/Windows7/disable-antivirus-software

Important note: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. If you need to disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network, while your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.

I hope this helps. If the problem persists, let know us and we would be happy to help you.

  • At first 205, 1 error code when you use the new user profile

    Hello

I use Windows Professional 8.1 with CS6 installed.

Now, I've decided for CC, but as several other users, I am still not able to install it!

On my admin account, I get the error code 205 trying to launch CreativeCloudSet - Up.exe.

I have read a lot of similar messages and tried everything I have found, for example create a new Windows - this broughtt me just admin user profile somewhat further than installers closes a bit later with another error code (1).

My PC is a Quad processor 2.4 GHz, 8 GB of RAM and a 512 GB SSD - technical limitations (I figured out can be indicated by the error code 1) should not be a problem!

And it is not yet possible to file a mail to Support Adobe as there only the cat and the phone from MO-FR 9-17 h-it's ridiculous...

In any case - why is there not more simple - the download links for the Apps?

Obviously, Adobe seems not to be able to provide installers work - CC this is absolutely crap as I am not able to use it!

I would be really grateful if someone who had / has the same problem (s) would have found a solution - and support pages - please no standard link to fake Adobe!

Thank you in advance and best regards

    Carsten

Complete all Adobe processes from the Task Manager.

    Open the c: drive and navigate to C:\Program Files (x 86) \Common Files\Adobe.

Open the Adobe folder and delete folders named Adobe Application Manager and OOBE.

    Navigate to C:\Program Files (x 86) \Adobe.

Open the Adobe folder and if necessary remove Adobe Creative Cloud folder.

Then try to install creative cloud desktop, if you get the error code 205, follow the previous steps again and delete these folders.

    Then see link below:

Persistent error 205 (Win 7) during the installation of Creative Cloud Desktop

(The link above is not dummy link, I just post other steps in this post)
