  Unactivated product key.  I had this bridge for over 2 years with no problem.  I've updated my AntiVirus MicroTrend, one couple of days, and that's when the problem seem to start.  I don't know if she has nothing to do with it or not.  I've been running since I bought the computer also, just renew it each year when the time comes.  Not my background went complete black and in the States of message below to the right.   This problem occurs if the license validity interval has expired, or if the license is not signed correctly.
  To resolve this problem, use one of the following methods: method 1: re - insert the product key by using the "Change product key" tool to re - enter the product key, follow these steps:

  I restored my computer about 4 days earlier. and when I started my computer I got a screen telling me that I have to give a product key to use the computer. I gave them a product on the back of the computer number and they tell me it's not right.

  I have a Dell with Windows Vista Home Premium 32 BIT computer. I have been using this computer for over a year without any major problems. I have not recently installed any software, etc. I shut down my computer last night and when I tried to start this morning, I received the following error message:

  "The product key of Windows Vista Home Edition Premium you typed is invalid for activation". I gives me three options to fix this problem:
  1. access your computer with reduced functionality. (This also will allow you to buy a product online key).
  2. enter a different product key.
  3 contact Dell to help solve this problem.

  I tried to re - type the product key that is listed on the bottom of my computer and I received the 0xC004F050 error code. I tried typing the key again (to make sure that I had typed correctly the first time) and I got the same failure code.

  I looked in the old posts in your forum of answers and I could not find any information to help out me.

  To clarify, I don't have access to my Start menu. When I connect, I just asked to select one of the three options listed above.

  -Locate oobe.inf and ask the customer to install and the path towards the D:\

  -Find the I386 folder

  -In this folder there is a folder named "ActShell" click Open and click OK

  While in Safe Mode, access the registry

  HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\Current WPAEvents (OOBETimer)

  Within WPAEvents, there is a value (OOBE Timer).  "Change" the value data.  One of the characters was "69."  Change it to '72.  One time changed, right click WPAEvents and click on "Permissions."  Change the permissions of 'System' to DENY.  Then access the "advance settings".  "Uncheck the inherit permissions from Parent."  then the system user account on "Edit" and change permission settings.  Click on apply and OK all settings and then start in Normal Mode.

  Try to activate by phone but first change the product key for the same.  Once completed, I got the customer continue with the wizard.  The activation was successful.

  * First of all, check that all information is accurate.  Verify that these files are in this situation, otherwise do not continue.  I used these steps to resolve this issue * if things are not identical, please do no change.  I have a few additional troubleshooting step to work around this problem.

• Windows 7 ultimate 64-bit (OEM version) 0xc004f050 error code.

  I have a machine running Vista ultimate 32 bit and decided to add it to windows 7 ultimate 64-bit (OEM) using a new hard drive with the operating system so that I can dual boot drive (or OS).

  I did this so that I could benefit from 8 GB of installed RAM, of which only 64-bit acknowledges.

  The first instalation of Win.7 was bugged with accidents frequent 'blue screen' and programs no longer responds. All updates have been installed, but I was not happy with the performance and decided to do a clean reinstall.

  I formatted the disk and progressed to reinstal win.7.
  The problem started when I had to activate the registration key; -a code 0xC004f050 appears with the comment that the product key is not valid.

  I then tried the phone option, a somewhat laborious procedure of type a string of numbers to validate. This has not worked, although I checked the numbers were correct. The call was redirected to someone somewhere in India, judging from the accent, which gave me a new registration key.
  Needless to say that this new key did not work either, with the same result as the original.

  I phoned a 2nd time to inform them that the key did not work and have now been achieved here for assistance.

  Here is what I tried:

It didn't work because the actual restoration process has not successfully completed - an error has occurred, so I'm not a not actually restore at any earlier date at all.

• Activation of Windows 7 0xC004F050 error

  I corrected by running Windows update and got the above error. For a little history, I am running this windows on an IMAC in a Bootcamp partition. I was trying to run Parallels for Mac OS and that's when the problems started. I look at my computer properties and note that the State of Activation of Windows is not available and the product ID is not available. I tried Windows Activation and it lets me know error code is 0xD000034. I don't have a lot of items installed in Windows 7, but if resettlement would not be a huge problem, but if there are solutions out there that would save me some time.

• Windows 10 clean install - need product key

  I bought a G70-70 last week and I would like to do a clean install of Windows 10. Before diving, I set up a dual boot with the 8.1 existing. During the Win 10 install it twice asked for a product key, but also allowed the installation to continue. I now have a working win 10, but he says that it requires activation. In the activation screen, it says I have an existing product key of *-8HVX7, but the details of the error show ' 0xC004C003 - the activation server determined that the specified product key has been blocked "."

• Suddenly no genuine Windows. No installation code to activate.

  On 2 February, microsoft decided suddenly my windows was not authentic, it only allowed restricted access. It's after 3 or 4 years of owning the laptop which has vista pre-installed. Duly, I followed the instructions and re-entered my code but the guarded 0xC004f050 error message reappear. I then phone activation but at the point of installation code, I have spaces, there is no figures. Has been updated through different departments, the line was cut.

  I rang several times and been submitted to various people, which ultimately could not help at all.
  Then finally I was put to a service, which gave me an e-mail address to send a photo of my sticker (key, under laptop) for them and they would get back to me for help. I thought that the problem could begin to be resolved.
  Here is the exchange of e-mails between microsoft and myself.
  I'm at my wits end. Just make the problem go away, so I can have my computer, why is this a precondition not to be part computer engineer when the possession of a PC.

  Not impressed at all, I must have rung technical support 20 times on this subject

  problem, it has been repeated since February 2. Each time, they

  put me in a different Department through and I get nowhere.

  I really thought, when you guys asked for a picture and showed a bit of

  the knowledge that you could finally be people to address this issue.

  At the end of the day, all you are doing tells me to start this

  ridiculous about the whole process again.

  How about someone sounds to me to help with this issue? I'm tired of having

  for so many phone numbers, I spent at least an extra $ 30 euros on my

  I think that it's all really a big scam to get innocent people to buy another

  Unfortunately, the system log file is not go back that far :(

  Research in the application log reveals that it was shortly after that the system reported errors in disk - they are taken into account in the subsequent CHKDSK report where a large number of errors have been corrected, but one the system reports bad sectors.

  Maybe this is a sign that the hard drive is dying. (especially since a CHKDSK earlier don't report any bad sectors)

  You should back up your data to external storage and consider replacing the hard drive and using a clean reinstall.

• Activation of the operating system failure:

  Re-loaded OS (Vista Home typo) of re-covery disk to new HD product code back embedded code invalid, I tried to tag on computer and stops 1/2 way through entering with "Invailed characuter.

  0xC004F050 usually means that you have misinterpreted a character - C/G/6 or B/8 or Y/V are the most common.

  Please note that the following characters cannot be used - A E I L N O S U Z 1 0 - so don't bother trying unless you like noise it does :)
