  I have a Dell Inspiron 1545, which has a Windows 7 sticker alongside Intel inside the thumbnail but no sticker code product key on the underside of the machine.

  I used Belarc Advisor to extract the Windows 7 code

  I formatted the hard drive and then install a new copy of Windows 7 Home Premium (x 64) SP1

  When I try to manually activate Windows it says;

  -Contact Microsoft to help solve this problem

  There is no option to activate by phone

  If I run slui.exe 4 into the start menu there is still no option to activate by phone and I am presented with error 0xC004E003

  I have re-entered the key several times to ensure no typos

  I ran the Microsoft Genuine Advantage Diagnostic Tool (see below)

  I received this error for the 3rd time.  A balloon appears and tells me that I need to activate windows due to a hardware change.  The computer that the copy of windows is currently installed is a home built with an oem version of windows 7 Professional 64-bit machine.  Initial activation went well without any problems.  2nd activation was due to having a "physical" display, but it allowed me to activate via the internet.  3. I had to call the number to receive an activation number.  The problem is that the computer is exactly the same, as it was the first day I turned it on.  I've updated anything, nothing, replaced and did not really have to do something for her.  Do I Plug and unplug devices, but no material change at all.  Any suggestions on how I could fix this?

• 800b0100 error code when you try to install updates on Windows Vista

  Error 800b0100 code happens while trying to make updates.  I recently went back to the default factory settings and I try to do all the updates.  I used the updater and fix it also.  I restarted the computer and still no joy when you try to load the update for windows vista.

  Method 1: Turn off the firewall and antivirus software of third parties.
