10 error again VI Library.vi when generating .exe

It drives me crazy!  What is the cause.  The program has worked in 8.5.1 and before.  The only thing that has changed is that I had to create directories for each class in the Microsoft report generation Toolkit which has been a pain huge himself.  Building to see an EXE in LabVIEW 8.6 using Report Generation Toolkit application note for more information.  Anyway, any suggestion would be appreciated.

After having tested a lot more, I think I've identified the problem.  Our executable using Microsoft reporting tool.  Because of how LabVIEW 8.6 has implemented the box tool, it creates directories for each class to the Toolbox to avoid name collisions.  Perhaps LabVIEW should start using namespaces.  In any case, we didn't want the code to be visible for visitors.  We wanted it to be in a single executable.  So, I found an article in the knowledge base that solves the problem.  It's called "Managing the files from a build containing LabVIEW resulting Classes" and its document id is 4OKDCDES.  In any case this article says to add .llb destinations in the build so that instead of 5 directories with visible screws, you get 5 .llb.  It worked well without any problem of generation, but the article says then rename the .dll for the additional directories .llb me seems to resemble the dll.  The first time you build that this works, but if you build it again, it fails, and you receive error 10 code.  You can then build it again and it will work.  If the problem has to do with rename the extra .llb .dll.

  • FTP & InternetTK folders when generating exe

I have a request in LV2012 SP1 that uses FTP screws and screws of InternetTK (from the obsolete Internet TK).

When I build the application to an executable file, I find myself with 2 directories next to the exe: NI_FTP and NI_InternetTK_Common_VIs. Both have 5 screws with the same names in them (from their corresponding .lvlib, for example, 'Get case Matching.vi' or 'No. Time Out Error.vi').

In LV2011, I had not any files with screws during the construction of the same application.

Why do I get these 2 folders when generating the executable in LV2012? Is it possible to have the manufacturer request to pack these screws in the exe? I thought I had 2 screws with the same name in different lvlibs should not be a problem.

Have you checked the flag 'Use LabView 8.x file layout' (Advanced tab in the properties of generation)?

Help! I get the error message 0 x 80190194 when I try to enable Windows Update in Windows XP Professional

Current solution: download IE8 for XP, run who, follow the Setup Wizard, wait for his failure. Download manually upgrade restart, recommended.

Restart the installation of IE8, wait that he remove previous IE. Reset.

Installation of IE8 restart to restart. Let it run. May need to restart.

Try to run windows update again. IF it works, woot, otherwise download the SP3 of XP service pack from Microsoft. As the Windows update fails, you must not download an installer, but an ISO standard. Burn the ISO to a CD and install (way to go...) or download a free tool like 7Zip and unpack iso and install a go from there.

From there on, the installation of SP3 and hope this works...

    Hello

1 have had any changes made on the computer before the show?

    2. What is the full and exact error message?

    Method 1:

I suggest you consult the similar thread and follow the advice given by Imran Chand dated 26 November 2010 and check if this may help:

    http://answers.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/Forum/windows_vista-sound/error-0x80070052-when-trying-to-download-music-to/3f0e6888-72a9-4340-95bd-13712ba8d2d0

    Method 2:

I suggest you to grant all permissions for the flash drive on the computer and check if it helps.

    Reference:

What to know before applying permissions to a file or folder

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/what-to-know-before-applying-permissions-to-a-file-or-folder

    Method 3:

Try to run Microsoft Safety Scanner for any malware or spyware infection and check if it helps.

    http://www.Microsoft.com/security/scanner/en-us/default.aspx

Note: the Microsoft Safety Scanner expires 10 days after being downloaded. To restart a scan with the latest definitions of anti-malware, download and run the Microsoft Safety Scanner again. The data files that are infected must be cleaned only by removing the file completely, which means that there is a risk of data loss.

    Published by: user13324293 on July 20, 2010 11:48

It's a regression in the PS2 (11.1.1.3.0) during our generation of DDL has been rewritten. The problem, in a nutshell, is that while determining if the generated DDL must precede the name of the object with a differnet scheme, there are some erroneous (simpler) made of string manipulation. So if the name (or schema.name) in the source contains the token of what follows (ie the ACE or IS) has the problem. This problem is fixed in 11.1.2.0.0 and 11.1.1.4.0 streams.

    There are two possible solutions.

You can use instead OF as in the above case (in the STATE does not appear in the name) or simply change the case of ACE so that it is not the same as in the name - that is to say use "beneath", 'As' or 'Sub '.

    I hope this helps.

  • Third party compiled .dll throws COFF header link error bad member library

    Hello

Has anyone worked successfully through the binding process and building third-party library files into an executable LabWindows?

Specifically, I am trying to build an executable in CVI which depends on .dll and .lib files generated using the minGW compiler. (CCG)  This always results in a failed attempt to link with:

    «Aborted load library ' library path/name'.»»»
    And:
    "Header Member bad COFF library."

I read the docs of minGW, to check, it produces complaint COFF files, by default, but obviously there is something that I missed.

The dll is simple (two exported functions) and programme aid is even simpler, a main() with a single call to one of the dll_exports.  The following files are included in the attached zip file:

files for building executable in LabWindows/CVI:
    LWCVI_use_test_dll.c
    LWCVI_use_test_dll.CWS
    LWCVI_use_test_dll.prj
    test_dll.h
    test_dll.lib
    test_dll.dll

files for the creation of DLL using minGW

    test_dll.h

    test_dll.c

The following #define is also used to export the minGW project function

    #define DLL_EXPORT __declspec (dllexport)

Any help will be greatly appreciated
    Thank you

There is something wrong with test_dll.lib, but I don't know what it is.

You can, however, generate an alternative import within the ICB library comes from the test_dll.h file. Open this file in CVI, remove the #include line, then use the Options | Generate the DLL import library... menu item to generate a new library.

The import library that I generated using this method is attached.
