10 windows and cs5 will not install updates?

After the upgrade to windows 10, I installed CS5 and then tried to seize the 12.4 and camera raw updates.  I get an error message: there was a download of this update error try again later... Ive been trying for 2 weeks!  Any ideas?  Thanks, Dave

    Ideas: this system is most stupid of THE I never thought possible. I am in the internet Explorer IDIOTICLY stupid, that works properly and is the reason I use Google Chrome in the first place, I'm trying to install this scanner and it won't install because of the stupid 'blocker'. I thought that these idiots @ Microsoft sued for monopolizing once already, and that perhaps they had learned their lesson to make us use their crappy products (IE)? Apparently not.     Background:

    I had been using InDesign CS5 for a few years on my Win7 Ultimate x 64 machine.   A year and a half ago, I reloaded the OS and did not reinstall InDesign as I didn't need so.  It is used for a project once every six months near the end of the year. My InDesign CS5 is the update to Pagemaker, - installation is in the download file obtained via the Download Manager when licensed by Adobe in 2010. I think that it was updated to CS5.5 during that period but I have no file to install CS5.5,

    Problem:

    Tried to re - install at this time, and Setup fails.  He accepts the serial number but does not end: * I have attached the complete list of the errors at the end of this post.  I tried the install several times - initially with all InDesign bells and whistles, then restart your computer and retried and then again after restart a second time with no selected InDesign extensions (thinking that perhaps one who may be the cause) but no change in symptoms.

    Discussion:

    I think it's either something fundamental with InDesign CS5 in conflict with some Win7 updated since the time when InDesign CS5 has worked, or interaction with other Adobe products.

    Had been, time where everything worked fine:

    Click Start > right click on computer > left click on properties > see if you have Vista 32 bit or Vista 64-bit installed.
