  I have Vista 64 bit. Experienceing a constellation of problems over the past two weeks. Cannot change the screen resolution. Desk top icons appear very large.  Cannot move icons.  Dialog box to delete history extends under the bottom of the screen and I can't move or reduce it. Impossible to tell if the deletion of history is applied. (This is disturbing).  Cursor publishes too... cannot highlight text correctly... or move text

  Think problem was caused by the recent Microsoft updates. Don't know what the difficulty! or how.

  I can not even rearrange the sentences in this area in order to make more sense!

  I suggest you look at in the history of the update and check the updates have been installed and whether or not they have been installed successfully.

  I suggest you follow the steps mentioned below:

  Method 1:

  If it's an online game, I suggest to disable add-ons and see if the problem still occurs, follow these steps:

  a. open Internet Explorer by clicking the Start button, and then click Internet Explorer.

  b. click on tools and then click on Manage Add-ons.

  c. under show, click all add-ons.

  d. click on the add-on to disable and then click on disable.

  e. Repeat step D for each module you want to disable. When you are finished, click Close.

  Method 2:

  Check if the Toshiba media controller is not on the agenda and fonctionnalites features in the affirmative, then uninstall controller Toshiba program and multimedia functionality. Follow the steps described in the following link:

  Back up your data on Windows 7 (a full backup, not a backup of the image).  Do a clean installation of Windows Vista, including a full format of the drive which is provided as an option during the installation and which will get rid of Windows 7 and all the rest (however do you - with an Installation of Vista genuine, an OEM Installation disc, disc a recovery disk provided by the manufacturer or a recovery Partition if you have one).  Then, you must reinstall all of your software, to reconfigure all the settings of your, to restore the backup to reinstall all updates and service packs...  In essence, start over again as if it was a whole new machine.  If you have any of the disks or the recovery partition (or do not know how to use), contact the manufacturer for instructions and/or a set of recovery (at a modest price) disks and then use them to do the installation. Do a clean install follow these steps:http://www.winsupersite.com/showcase/winvista_install_03.asp (taking into account the necessary adaptations by the procedures of the manufacturer of your computer).  These instructions will work as written if done with an installation disc full Vista genuine.

  I think you put a "line" around them. Select them and change the weight to 0.

  Whenever I have move, copy/paste or cut/paste between windows folder nothing happens initially. After 10 to 60 seconds (depending on the number and size of files) they suddenly all appear at the same time in the other folder or begin to be displayed one by one. Because no progress bar / dialog box appears, I don't know if something happens and I often repeat the process (although, without knowing it, the action takes place). In the task bar, the folder icon does not show even a progress bar green on the icon to show that all this is happening. I recently did a clean install of Windows 8 and, as far as I know, there are no other programs or major processes that occur in the background that may interfere with my actions. Finally, I also note that copying/moving/deleting files takes a lot more time than my previous Windows 7 environment. a 20 MB file copy immediately before, but it takes now longer than 5 seconds to complete.

  2. Boot from the USB key to clean Windows.
  3. Run Windows Update that there are no updates to be applied.
  4. Restart Windows

  I have a laptop Satellite A series. There is a webcam control box that appears when you hover over it.   Jscher200... you rock! Real Player was the problem. I've uninstalled it. I'm not taking any chances for the part of the application on my system, and my Flash Slide show works perfectly well. I was running down the wrong alley because I assume a relationship between the snap of him "to prevent additional pages of execution of dialog boxes" and the absence of images via the Flash Player.
