100 degrees will damage my gpu

I was game on my y500 (gt650m sli model) however I used only the main map (IE sli has been disabled) I after 5 minutes of playing, I noticed need for speed most wanted has started late and I frame rate drops over 40 less than 20. I kept playing for about 10 minutes, when I noticed the gpu fan was not on (it might have worked however low speed). But I did notice the usual hot air blown by the wind. I immediately stopped and when I checked using nvidia inspector I saw that the times were at 100 degrees. I used the function of dust remove to run the fans at high speed in an attempt to cool quickly, but the main gpu fan still worked. I typed the event and luckily the fan came. Now, it works fine. However, I fear that the 100 degrees could have adversely affected my computer

At least with you FPS fall, this means that the protected GPU itself have not damaged so no worries. You only start to worry if the GPU is not detected by the BIOS and the operating system more.

  • If you uninstall windows xp and reinstall it will damage your computor

If uninstall you and reinstall the same edition of windows xp it will damage your computor

Not physically, but you may need to reinstall the device drivers and chipset for each hardware device to work properly.

Go to your computer manufacturer's support web site and search for the Windows XP drivers for your specific model number.

If there are Windows XP drivers, then download to a folder on your hard drive, burn them on a CD/DVD, then after you have reinstalled XP, install all drivers, starting with the card drivers mother/chipset, SATA, LAN, Audio, USB, graphics, Webcam, Etc., and so on.

  • HP officejet 100: printer hp officejet 100 laptop will support Windows CE?

I'm working on Windows CE project.  I need to print with hp officejet 100 via Bluetooth or usb. I don't know if the printer hp officejet 100 laptop will support Windows CE or not. Can someone clarify for me please.

    Hi SureshR,

This OfficeJet 100 was not designed to work with Windows CE, as such. The specifications include Windows XP, Vista and 7.

You you can try the different drivers to see if none of them work. Also check for the built-in drivers in Windows CE. The specifications page points to www.westtek.com for Windows Mobile printing.

    Good luck

  • ICloud for Apple music activation will damage my iTunes library?

I agree with Apple's music and I understand that if I want to add pieces of Apple's music in my iTunes library I must activate iCloud. I have so far resisted doing this since all reports of permanent damage to your library master iTunes at the time where Apple music was introduced. It means your iTunes library will be scanned and anything in the catalog of music Apple is copied in your iCloud, but at a lower speed to ICloud. Music you have (I have 1700 titles of a CD, I added that I bought) is not in the catalog will be copied in iCloud, but at a lower rate. But I was warned of the following problems. Does anyone know if all those who have been set? Of course, I keep a backup of everything on my Mac, but I'm afraid of damaging my iTunes library. I've read about problems are:

    1. DRM is added to the music you own and copied to your iTunes library.
    2. Music you have will be converted at any bit rate and a different format (I use MP3) and copied in your library.
    3. Many only find albums that they have got iTunes tracks scrambled, metadata for artist names and track names got scrambled, and playlists got out of order.
    4. Album cover and the track got corrupted and replaced with incorrect art.

I know things are not supposed to be true based on the Apple FAQ, but they occurred when music Apple and iOS 9 first came out. These questions definitely resolved?

    1. no DRM will not be added to your own music and copied into your iTunes Library UNLESS you decide to delete your original files and then re - upload to your computer's iTunes library. Or if you have set up a second computer share the same Apple ID and download the tracks to this second computer.

2 not - yet as answer #1 - if you delete your original files and then re-download. You will receive versions Apple music that - according to what bitrate you torn initially to-may or may not be a lower data rate.

    3. Yes, it happens. But most often it happens when you try to listen to music on other computers or devices. There was reports of these types of problems in their library (the one people used as source to configure BCTI) original iTunes and that's why it makes sense to have a backup of your original files. But, that being said, I've been using AM / BCTI since it began and I saw only occasional and minor problems with my metadata on my original library. However, I've seen a lot of questions on the iPhone and iPad that share my ID Apple and iCloud music library - mainly the wrong version of a song being substituted for the one I have in my library (the original) iMac iTunes.

    4 Yes - See answer #3.

Yet once again, most of these problems happen either (1) on the secondary devices you use with your music library to iCloud or (2) when people decided - usually to save hard drive space - to remove their original files and then replace with others of their MEMBER.

  • Recorder of power on all night - this will damage the Machine?

I have recorder DVD Sony RDR - GXD455. It damages the machine in order to leave the device in the mode works from one day to the next? I have finished a record last night and stopped the device after completing recording a movie, but I forgot to turn off the power to the machine. This case could adversely affect the unit? Thank you for the answers.

Condition it has good ventilation, the recorder must be perfect being left on all night. Make sure if it is in a center of entertainment, wardrobe or a shelf there are two or three inches of space above so it won't get overheated. Also, avoid placing the recorder directly on top another component, such as an AV receiver that will generate heat.

  • legacy Flash will damage A7R?

I would like to know if the tiny electrical contacts inside the claw A7R will be damaged if a legacy (old, no Sony) Flash is mounted.  In other words... The A7 has a hoof.  The claw has electrical contacts at the front.  If I get an old flash unit, this unit press against the tiny electrical contacts and damage the ocntacts?

You can mount the flashes of third party that comply with the standard ISO 518 to multi-interface shoe of the A7R. The fixing of such accessories shouldn't damage the pins and contacts of shoe of the camera.

Note that we always recommend the use of accessories Sony because we cannot guarantee full compatibility with other Sony accessories. Also, please avoid the use of a flash available in trade with the terminals high voltage synchronization or polarity with the camera as this would cause a malfunction.

You can check this link about future efforts in LabVIEW to take advantage of the GPU processing. It includes a prototype available for download from ni.com/labs site. I know not what sort of coverage in terms of GPU providers, there are at this point, or what we might do in the future, but there is a lot of material to browse if you wish.

  • always using plugged my laptop will damage my battery?

If I always use my laptop connected and drain my battery once in 5-7 days, there will be no problem to my laptop battery?

    Hello

This kind of question existed for several years. All the smart charger and smart batteries now know how to keep good sahpe. Battery life depends on the number of charge cycles. No one can say concrete, because there are a few factors that can change. Please read the following articles.

I sent my 8330 to the bottom of the pool.  Tried this drying and got the red light, but that's all.  It took my provider (Verizon) and the tech looked inside my BB and on the basis of my battery and I saw Pink indicators on both - so tell me BB and battery is toast and I need to order new ones.  QUESTION: if I try to use the indicator rose w battery in my new BB, am I risking?  I would like to avoid buying new batteries, but don't want to spoil the new BB!

I recommend you take the battery to the repair shop and to check his blood pressure and other characteristics.

Moisture can damage the internal components of the battery, and this damaged battery can damage braces.

  • Lightroom 6 - will not disable GPU acceleration

    Hello

    I have a problem.

My GPU acceleration seems to cause problems (from what I've read). I have some random freezes of Lightroom 6.1.1 so I tried to disable the GPU acceleration. This caused Lightroom to crash. So I looked up in the support forums and found that I had random adjustment of the autobahn to false. I did, BUT still when I have done that and restarted Lightroom the checkbox in the preferences was activated again and settings manually changed in the configuration file is set to true again (and starting the ToolTips disabled and stuff has shown once again).

So, how can I disable GPU acceleration (without this, he turns to himself again)?

I'm running Windows 8.1 (64-bit), an AMD FX 8350 with an AMD Radeon R9 280 X. The system is stable and that all the drivers/updates are later.

I hope someone can help me,

    Thank you very much!

    Greetings Philipp

I have solved my problem, but do not understand why:

-J' abandoned the development to the web module module and open the settings dialog box. Then, I could uncheck the box. After restarting Lightroom, the box is always disabled.

    Strange bug!

    Greetings!
