  I'm on Win7 64-bit SP1. I have 4 drives hard 1 TB, with a set-aside for the backup only warnings. My backup settings are my drive Local C and My Documents, music, pictures and video libraries, with a System Image.

  If problem persists and that you are able to connect to your computer then I suggest you to check the system files are they work very well or not and to check who are trying to run the (SFC) System File Checker tool.

  I tried to install the app from appworld on my phone app. and it would just reinstall the version on the app that was there. There was an update of the application if you searched FRO the app themselves as the current version, but when I downloaded and tried to install it, it would install the previous version. Hense the post.  In the meantime, I went to appworld on my pc and pulled up to the app and it showed the correct version ther so I dl by using the QR Code the phone installed the old version AGAIN!  It was after several reboots uninstall install ect.  Well the last time I returned to my world on appworld on the phone and here when I clicked on the application, it has shown that an update is available for the version that I had just dl less than 5 min prior.   The error you get can be caused by components from Visual C++ Runtime libraries that are missing or get conflicted, perhaps due to a third party software or badly configured registry settings.

  So, I would suggest trying the following steps and check if the problem persists:

  Method 1:

  a. click Start, right-click computerand then click Properties.

  b. in the name computer, domain, and workgroup settings , click change settings.

  (If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type your password, or click continue.)

  c. click change settings , and then select the Advanced tab click the environment variables button.

  d. the user variables area, click on TEMPand then click change.

  e. in the Variable value box, type C:\Temp, and then click OK twice.

  f. click applyand then click OK.

  g. follow steps 4 to 6 for the variable of environment TMP as well.

  h. confirm this folder C:\Temp exist, otherwise create a.

  i. restart the computer.

  j. attempt to install the application again.

  If the steps do not help, try the next method.

  Method 2:

  If you are comfortable in changing some registry settings, then follow the steps provided below.

  1. Click Start and type run in start search box, and then press enter.

• Close the registry editor.

• Check if you are able to install the application.

If the method does not resolve the problem, continue to the next method.

Method 3:

You can also reinstall Visual C++ Library Runtime components to solve the problem.

You can uninstall all existing Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable Package and install the latest Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package and check if it helps.
