1010NR HP mini slider jams-up

Just bought a HP mini 1010nr. I love it, except for one problem. When I move the cursor upwards or downwards it jams and this funny little money search rectangle appears at the end of the needle. It's a random thing, however. But there are enough to make me crazy. I suspect it's something Microsoft has added to facilitate life ' ' on the Compleat fool, but it makes me a little crazy. I went through all the drivers, system information, drivers of pointer, preferences, etc and can find no way to turn it off. Cannot find any mention of this in the documentation provided with your computer. If someone has had this problem and did not what to do about it? Let me know before I throw the thing against a brick wall. It is difficult to do any work, when the jams constantly like that thing. Thank you!

OK, I posted the above message yesterday, and in the meantime I found how to solve the problem. It's something which is called "Virtual scroll." Believe me, I don't think you want this feature, so I'll tell you how to turn it off.

Click the Start button > Control Panel > mouse > device settings tab > settings > click on virtual scrolling. Then uncheck enable Vertical scrolling. Click on apply. Life will be good.

  • Mouse cursor is not visible at all, Vista x 64 SP2.

01/15/10, computer of my girlfriend automatically installed several updates Windows day and then blue screened. Updates appear to have installed successfully, but immediately after restarting, the mouse cursor has encountered a problem in that it is completely invisible except when positioned in the very upper left corner of the screen (an area of about 100 x 100 pixels, I guess). The only solution that I might know which allowed us to see the cursor anywhere else on the screen was to return to the path of the mouse pointer. Change the pointer system is no anything, either - every diagram shows the cursor like schema by default when I can see him at all (with the active pointer trails). It is really annoying, and it makes my girlfriend and me crazy. I want to keep the computer up-to-date, but if MS updates kill something so essential as the mouse cursor, I can't do it.

    Updates that were installed were:
Updated platform for Windows Vista for x 64-based systems (KB971644)
Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 Service Pack 2 update for Windows Vista Service Pack 2... (KB974470)
Update for Windows Vista for x 64-based systems (KB960362)
Definition update for Microsoft Security Essentials - KB 972696 (definition of 1.71.2259.0)

The system is a HP Pavilion Slimline with Intel Core 2 Quad Q8200 (2.33 Ghz), 4 GB of RAM, Vista 64 SP2 and the graphics card is a NVIDIA GeForce 9300 GE.

    Hello

You can first try to check the mouse settings by clicking on Control Panel -> mouse -> Pointer Options -> uncheck the "Enhance pointer precision" and check if it solves the problem.

Now you need to reduce the hardware acceleration on your computer and look for the number, to determine this, click on the view tab and then, under DirectX features, check to see whether DirectDraw, Direct3D, and AGP Texture acceleration appear as disabled. If this is not the case, try to reduce hardware acceleration.

    1. open the screen resolution by clicking on the Start button, Control Panel, and then, under appearance and personalization, click on adjust the screen resolution.

    2. click on advanced settings.

    3. click on the Troubleshooting tab, and then click on change settings.  If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

4 move the hardware acceleration to min slider.

    Now search for the question.

    Hello Hriket,

  • Representation of the State, success and completion criteria

    Hello world

I'm looking to correct the settings with the following:

I have a project without any questionnaire but 20 "hand"-slides that have visited me more than 5 other 'info' - slip next. "»

The info-slides are accessible through links from main-slides, but if any user does not visit one or more info-slides, that should not affect the "completion status.

The completion status must be defined as "Full", when al 20 min - slides have been opened.

All the main slides are visible in OCD, 5 info-slides are marked "upon" in OCD.

I have need correct the settings for the 'Representation of the State' and 'success and completion criteria.

I define "slide-views" to 100%? These 100% are calculated from 20 slides visible only?

In my project I force a user to call a slide after another and so rigorous the last slide should create "Status = Complete.

    Help, please.

Thanks a lot for any suspicion

    Rolf

Slide views % is for all slides. However lower the % to 80% for the views of the slide will not solve the purpose, because the user could visit 5 info-slides and only 15 master slides as well.

Why not change approach and attribute a score to an interactive object on the last slide? It may be 1 point, and then you could require 80% of the views of slide + pass the "test" (which would mean clicking on this interactive object with the score of 1 point) and the Quiz passing score of 100% of the value.

You need to integrate the drivers Sata ( ICH7M/MDH SATA AHCI ) and burn a new cd XP with nLite.

Here is a guide showing how to integrate and here are the drivers Sata . 7-ZIP or Universal Extractor are good out of the installer.

  • How to show min/max-previous values in slider

    Hello

Currently, I have a loop that measures a DMM and the result is displayed on the Panel.

Now I changed it to display the value in a cursor.

The problem is: How can I do that displays the cursor more that just involve him.

I want to display also the 1. the smallest and 2. more great value and 3. a limit value that represent good value.

I checked the properties of the slider, but can't find anything like it's - or cursor is the bad thing?

    Thanks for help

    See attachment.

I added additional sliders to the indicator (right-click, add cursor), then just kept track of values max and min using shift registers.

To change how the 'fill' (blue shading between the sliders) cursor, right-click on each slider and select Fill options.

    Is that what you wanted?

  • HP Mini 210 - 1010NR black screen

    Hello

I have a HP Mini 210 - 1010NR which has recently stopped working. I ran several diagnostic tests. This is a summary of what I've done and found:

First of all, I did a hard reset of the netbook (with power with no battery). There was no positive outcome. I followed this test by testing the hard drive and ram. To test the hard drive, I plugged into my office and did a disk check. The results showed that the car was functioning properly. To test the ram, I have used DDR2 ram from another netbook I and tested the operation of the broken netbook. It was still broken. Finally, I noticed the caps lock button was flashing on start up. I looked at the result of the error. It flickered once every couple secconds. This meant that it was an error of type 1 (CPU failure). How to test a CPU failure and would it be possible that it is something else the CPU or the caps lock key blinks once every second torque means that there must be a failure of the CPU.

    Thank you

Hello ems316, welcome to the Forums of HP.

Thank you to provide detailed information on the already tried troubleshooting.

Regarding Notebook and question it if it is a failure of the CPU, based what you have described with this document: computer does not start and the lights blink or the computer will beep (which can be the one you found). That would be a problem with the central unit. In line with the recommended best option would contact support to see what repair and replacement options are available.

I'm sorry for the incontinence might cause.
Thanks for posting on the HP Forums.
