  The NSIS error message box (Null soft Scriptable Install System) basically means that the executable user or a Setup installer tries to run is damaged or incomplete.

  NSIS error can occur for the following reasons:
  (1) software files downloaded from the Internet are not complete.
  (2) downloaded the software, the files have been changed since the original version.
  (3) your PC is infected with a virus.
  (4) physical media used to install the program is damaged.
  (5) materials required (for example, CD/DVD player) is defective.

  I suggest the following tasks and check to see if it helps:

  Note: Try to install your software, after the execution of each task.

  (1) clear the cache and cookies in your Web browser.

  Adobe Muse CC 2014 installs along side your old version. It does not replace it. The new version is installed and available. You just need to launch Adobe Muse CC 2014 and not the old Adobe Muse CC. Sorry for the confusion.

You can also simply drag the selection to your desktop or download them from the Web site using the method they use.   Restore the system to factory settings via whatever the manufacturer of the laptop gave instructions/media/etc. * with * the laptop or on their web page for your brand specific & model of latptop.

  It is * not * the Windows system restore - but something much more destructive in most cases - so have good backups of things you care about.
