1080 p resolution problem

In iMovie, I don't have an option of 1080 p resolution when I save to file.  Why?

I found my answer... iMovie will define the resolution for your movie based on the resolution of the first video clip.   I used only the photos in my film, but enforcement remains limited my level of resolution.   I created a new film, set in a 1080 p clip, stuck in my current film, then removed the clip of 1080.  iMovie so let me to save the movie file.   My source:

Solved by GeeD on 28 April 2015 02:28 AMSolved

iMovie10 only works and exports the 16:9 format.

The resolution is defined by one of the first music video set in a project calendar.  To change your project to 1080 p do as follows:

Create a new project

Put all known clip video 1080 p in the project (it can be removed later)

Select the old project and then edit - select all then copy Edition -

Select the new project and then edit - copy

The new draft should now be 1080 p.  You can remove the first clip if you wish.

  • Satellite C70 - A - 16 L - screen resolution problem

    Hello

    I recently had a screen resolution problem with my laptop (C70 - A - 16 L).
The max screen resolution which is imparted to me is 1366 x 768, whereas before I think he used 1600 x 900.

I tried the latest drivers, Bios, etc. and have also restored the operating system to a previous backup, as well as a new installation.
I also tried to roll back to Windows 7 (with proper drivers). They all offer the same problem.

This new maximum resolution display correctly - as if the LCD does not deal with the timings of 1366 x 768.
I believe that the Panel is OK and the problem he reports the EDID information properly - to force windows to use the new resolution.

Is there a download monitor.inf file that can be used to bypass the EDID reported by the Panel?

    Kind regards

    Antwist.

If the right to display drver is usually installed everything should be OK.

    Screen resolution problem

I have a dell latitude d630 2.5 GHz computer laptop under XP Professional 64-bit operating system.  The screen resolution will not be set above 680 x 480, and when I try to increase the computer stops with a black screen message that don't stay long enough onscreen to read.  Dell advised that they don't or support this machine with the XP operating system and that they have no drivers or other fixes for the problem.  I hope that you will be able to help and thank you.

    Hi dduck11,

    ·         What is the default screen of the laptop resolution?

You need to update the graphics (video) drivers for the laptop. I see that there are Windows XP drivers available for the same thing. Download and install the updated drivers to see if it helps.

  • HDMI on Dell ST2310 monitor resolution problem / Inspiron 537/Radeon 4350

I don't get resolution 1920 x 1080 on my Dell ST2310 monitor using a Radeon 4350 graphics card using the HDMI output.  I get about 1 "black bands black horizontal and vertical.   Strangely, I have perfected 1920 x 1080 when I use the DVI output of the video card to the monitor.  I checked the screen resolution setting in Windows 7 and on the monitor and it is 1920 x 1080 (monitor says just = 1080 p resolution).  Does anyone have advice?

    Success!  Thank you!

It worked for me, but my settings were VERY difficult to find (someone send this to ATI and Dell, the two companies isn't any idea of this parameter).

Here are my steps (for Version 2009.0614.2131.36800):

    1. open your Catalyst Control Center in advanced mode.

    2. find the top menu on the left titled: Graphics

    3. select «Desktop & poster»

4 STEP IMPORTANT: If you have 2 monitors you will see the large monitors in the Middle, and note the SMALL monitors in the lower left corner.  Right click on the LITTLE monitor on the lower left to change.

    5. Select "configure."

    6. click on the tab "scaling Options.

    7 set to 0

    8. click on apply

    9. click on Ok

You are finished.  I hope someone from ATI reads it and finds that it is much too complex even for an advanced user.  The menu item 'Configure' should have been included at the bottom of the fall of large monitors on the screen.  Why only on the graphics very small monitor in the lower left corner?

  • 1080 p resolution do not work

    Hello
We have updated with THIS 8.0 telepresence endpoints

We tried to connect HD SX10 or MX300 G2 sources with resolution with 1080 p/60 Hz.

The Touch Panel see us unknown resolution

    The source is a ClickShare.

Do someone have any solution or ideas

    Best regards

    Roland

The only support for a 1080 p resolution the SX10 will accept is [email protected]/ * / (HD1080p), by the data sheet.  Is it possible to change the output of ClickShare to use 1080 p 30, or even 720p30?  You could possibly put a Measurer SX10 / ClickShare to reduce the incoming video.

  • Screen resolution problems (Windows 10)

I downloaded the latest trial 9 Captivate for Windows 10 and screen resolution problems. Basically, making the software unusable. A lot of screens and dialog boxes seems larger than the current window, they are in, making the right and downstairs parts invisible window (usually, this is where the 'OK' and 'Cancel' buttons for example).

I'm Captivate on a laptop running 64-bit Windows 10 (Sony Vaio with an NVidia GT 640 M map graphic with the latest drivers)

Does anyone know how to fix this? Here are some examples:

    captivate1.PNG

    captivate2.PNG

    captivate4.PNG

    No retina.

What is the size of the police on? Win10, it is often larger than 100%, which is not really necessary for your resolution, but that's a retina display. I am using Captivate on Win10, but Surface Pro and laptop have a retina display.

  • Dell Studio 1555 - screen resolution problem

As I said, I have a Studio 1555 purchased in 2009. Recently, I had a hard disk problem and had to replace it. With replacement, I reinstalled Vista and drivers; However, the resolution of the screen only now allows up to 1152 x 864 - which spans a bit the screen horizontally. My hard drive before, it only lasted in the slightest. I think that I can not have installed the factory properly drivers, but I'm not positive. My replacement hard drive is slower (5400 RPM as apposed to my previous 7200 RPM), but I was told that this would have nothing to do with my resolution problem. Any thoughts? I'm a graphics guy and amateur photographer, so this problem of resolution just doesn't fly. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Update: it was indeed a driver didn't install I guess. I installed it and everything is right with the world now.

  • Dell U3011 Max resolution problem with Latitude E6510

    Hola,

    I have a Latitude E6510 E-Port Plus anchor and U3011 monitor.  The laptop has a NVIDA NVS 3100 M with driver 8.17.12.5922

Using the Dual-Link DVI cable attached to the monitor I can only get a max of 1920 x 1080 resolution.

The Dataport interface using the full 2560 x 1600 resolution works.

The problem is that I have two PC I want to connect the same screen and switch between them using the built-in monitor source selector.  The monitor has an interface unique dataport only, but has 2 x Dual-Link DVI - so I need at least one of the DVI ports support the full resolution.

Is it possible with this Dell laptop, the Dell dock, this Dell monitor, connected with the Dell supplied cable DVI?

    1. is this laptop support Dual-link DVI? I can't find the E6510 User Guide.

2 - is the Dual-link DVI support dock?  The E-Port user's Guide is not clear.

    3. by Guide Dual - link DVI U3011 user is supported.

    Best regards

    Emilio.

    Dr. Emilio Lizardo,

None of the docks support DVI - D Dual Link. If your locked to the resolution of the unique link.

  • After the re-installation of Windows 7 I can is no longer on the desktop 1080 p resolution.

I recently had a problem with my computer and had to reinstall windows 7. I have a dell inspiron n7110 with Intel hd 3000 and Nvidia GT 525 m graphics cards. I followed each of the steps in this article, 36bac084-c1ae-4702-951a-b34c92fc860e . All my drivers are up to date and I tried to do this several times. Before the original problem, I was able to get a screen resolution of 1920 x 1080. Now I'm unable to reach this resolution and the max that my screen will go is 1600 x 900. I tried to find solutions online and have failed. Please let me know if anyone has any ideas or if I should renew my warranty so I can send it back for repair.

It is physically impossible for your billboard show this resolution - as above, you can have if that was the case, but it is not - and may never have.

  • 4 k reading in order 1080 p - resolution 1/2 Zoom

    Hi guys,.

I am trying to edit some GH4 4 k files in first CC 2014 on a sequence of 1080 p. But I'm having a problem when setting the resolution of reading to 1/2.

What happens is that whenever I have add an effect, playback image zooms by 50%.

This only happens in 4 images of k with effects on it. Without effects or a 1080 p clip reproduces very well. In addition, this happens only in the reading of resolution 1/2. When I put 1/4, it works fine.

    Screen Shot 2014-09-09 at 12.37.42 AM.png

    Can you guys help me?

    Thank you

Thanks for the additional info. It turns out that the sudden dry, I have had to bring in my test was the selection of the effect. I entered a bug report.

Two workaround solutions, the first one you mentioned:

    1. Read resolution 1/4 (or, if your system has the power...)
    2. Make segments of the sequence with the 4K film.

The GPU acceleration is one of the options to set up the rendering engine. You can find it in the project settings dialog box: file > project settings > General. In this case, the reproes bug regardless of the fact that Renderer is set for GPU acceleration or software only.

Thank you again for providing the information required for this nail.
