  If your application runs on your 10g standard, then the problem is not fixed the problem, it's that your standard version of Oracle 10 g... for me your initial query works 10.2.0.3 or XE...

• Display after the XP service pack 2 update problem

  I installed the XP 2 service (Xp pro) on my Satellite Pro 2100 and since I was on the right side of the screen a black border that is not used about 2 cm wide.

  Is the same reported problem of pLippo (17-Sep-04 22:53) with the same subject.

  This problem prevents me to install SP2, can anyone help?

  in a first time, you must uninstall and update your display driver.

  I thik this helps because "gfan" had the same problem with a laptop computer and reinstalling solved the problem!

  You can also use it to return to a BONE earlier if you want... you can install any level of the operating system for which you can find an auto-loader. (Hint... search the site of CB!)

  So far, the system works very well if the user enters a value in the field ": P8_NEW_PASSWORD". I also want the page to validate user input in other areas which is as below:
  A validation of type function returns the error with Expression1 as

  But I have an another 2, 3 databases in different servers. I know how to connect using the database link and question.
  But the question is when I want to write a query, I need to specify the database sid/instance always as below... which is so difficult, as I have write lengthy queries...

  Similarly, I have db sid anywhere in the query which is a little difficult.
  If I do not mention this; then he said: table or view does not exist...

  To be convinced, you can do the following:

  alter database begin backup;
  

  Then, you check the backup status of your datafilles with the following query:

  select file#, status
  from v$backup
  order by file#;
  

  If the status is ACTIVE, this means that the data files are in backup mode, and you can copy them.

  The redologs online, you can save them but this is not mandatory, because you have logs archived.

  It is important to get all archived logs generated during (and after) the backup.

  To do this, you can run the following right after the hot data files backup:

  alter system archive log current;
  

  It will generate a log archived that you need to include in your backup.

  If you lose all your data (including the redologs online), after you restore the data files, you need to retrieve
  the database. During this operation, you apply all archived logs and then you reset the redologs. It is a
  incomplete recovery.

  However, for the online redo logs, it is important to multiplex to another disk. So, if you lose members on
  a single disk, you can perform a full restore with their copy on the second disc.

  Hi Godis-Tei,

  It is easy to explain.

  (1) I don't know what are the instructions you follow, but it seems to suggest that you create a separate tablespace for APEX.  Not a bad suggestion, but in your case, since you are new, you should be able to simply use the existing SYSAUX tablespace.

  (2) you are prompted for an additional argument because you have not specified all necessary parameter values when calling apexins.sql.  I suggest that you run again, and with the following arguments:

  sysaux sysaux @apexins is temp

  That's all!  Good luck.
