  We could write many lines here.

  For me, they cannot be compared as FDMEE is a product and using import the file in planning is a planning feature. Although they have a common thing (they load planning data) you must take into account all processes happening before loading data.

  In FDMEE, you can create a set of metadata/data flow business integration in order to ensure the quality of your data (FDQM)... import from many sources, map data, validate, etc...

  If you just want to load a flat file, with no mappings for all data correspond to your model of planning, really useless FDMEE. You can simply import your file through HP.

  The only drawback to take FDMEE HP, it is that FDMEE is thought to financial data, so the numbers. If you want to load non-financial data (textual data), you would have to customize.

  Two things:

  -I wasn't talking about method you import data but export data. You use the SQL method. Go to target Applications, select your application of planning/essbase, and set load method as a file. Memorize your settings

  In import format, we have not mentioned hsp_rates, it's that whole issue?

  If we have different currencies, where we must define?

  Suppose we have INR, USD and GBP if I want to load the data of INR, where we define?

  The table interface is essentially just a relational table, there are a number of ways to get order dataexport data, report script, cdf, essbase mdx.
  You could automate with scripts, ODI, or if you are willing to pay then stars analytical.

  You are right. The table that you have described is in the format 'Generation' (the highest to the lowest level of the hierarchy). The KM of planning requires data to load in format "Parent/child". You must create multiple interfaces (one for each pair of generation) or use a view to make the transformation.

  While a view seems to be the easier choice, note that ODI will not be able to perform any analysis of lineage of data on the integration process.

• Load plans being run/Scheduling command line ODI

  Here's our scenario

  (1) we have a several load plans that move on different schedules. These changes of schedules each month. For example, we have a defined business window (usually end of month process) which changes from month to month. This business window set is stored in a custom table.

  (2) in this window, we run load is considering either once a day or every hour or just only once in this window, etc.

  I looked in the Plan charge hourly, but that wasn't our goal because of the complexity in date, time, and frequency. Also, we do not have any third party planner. I think to launch Plans to load a command line (. / startloadplan.sh) using a programming language (PL/SQL or Unix script)

  However, I am struggling to find how can I reach annex to a charge by command line plan? for example if I want to execute the plan to charge for the next 3 days every hour, how can say I do it through command line?

  Any suggestions would be very helpful.

  You can simply create a schedule like that unfortunately. The schedule should be attached to the repository, then the agent must be updated.

  In my case I am loading data to the Application of conventional planning. When all the dimension members are ignored in the mapping for the combination, you try to load the data, and when you click Export, you will get the same message. . DAT empty file is created

• Why statistical data loading fails if there are periods without data?

  EPM 11.1.2.3.500 on Exalytics

  Try to load statistics of several periods (from Jul_2012 to Aug_2014).

  So is having some of them with no data, it stops.

  Is this normal? Or it should load at least the rest of the data?

• Forcing errors when loading essbase nonleaf data loading

  Hi all

  I was wondering if anyone had experience forcing data load errors when loadrules is trying to push the nonleaf members data in an essbase cube.

  I obviously ETL level to prevent members to achieve State of charge which are no sheet of error handling, but I would however like the management of the additional errors (so not only fix the errors).

  ID much prefer errors to be rejected and shown in the log, rather than being crushed by aggregation in the background

  Have you tried to create a security filter for the user used by the load that allows only write at level 0 and not greater access?

  I use APEX 5.0 and download data wizard allows to transfer data from excel.

  I define Update_Date as timestamp (2) and the data in Excel is 2015/06/30 12:21:57

  I created the rule of transformation for update_date in the body of the function, plsql as below

  When I run my interfaces sometimes I get errors caused by "invalid records. I mean, some contents of field is not valid.

  Then I would move these invalid to another table records, while the data loading lights in order not to interrupt the loading of data.

  I'll answer your questions below:

  (1) Yes, loading data can be inserted/updated updated

  It's the default behavior, if you choose the right-hand columns in order to detect duplicate records, you will be able to see the records that are new and those who are up to date.

  (2) it will be a little tricky, but you can get by using the underlying collection. Loading data uses several collections to perform the operations, and on the first step, load us all the records of the user in the collection "CLOB_CONTENT". by checking this against the number of records in the underlying table, you can easily add a new validation before moving on to step 1 - step 2.

  What we called stale session and can be removed with the restart of the agent.

  You can also manually clean session expired operator.
