11g AD IOM connector

I OIM 11 g installed in my windows 7. I have another OS - Windows server 2008 32-bit in the same system. I installed AD in this OS. Can I install recon connector to users of AD (in Windows server in the same system) to IOM 11.1.1.5.0 in windows 7 in the same system. Is this possible?

Oh my bad. Please download conector server:Connector_Server_111150.zip BLAH here: http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/middleware/id-mgmt/downloads/connectors-101674.html.

AD Connector zip does not contain server connector inside. Install it. and follow the docs.

I have my setup envirnoment in the following way:

    Server b: connector
    Server C: AD domain controller

    I did the following.
    1. install and configure the connector on the server B Server
    2. turn the key to the connector server
    2. install the connector in IOM
    3. copy the ActiveDirectory.Connector - 1.1.0.6380.zip in Server Connector Home-> Identity Server Connectors\Connector
    4. run PurgeCache.sh All

Please let me know what I can do to fix the error I get.

    Thanks in advance.
    Neha

    1. stop the connector server.

    2. from the installation media, copy and extract the contents of the bundle/ActiveDirectory.Connector-1.1.0.6380.zip file in the CONNECTOR_SERVER_HOME directory.

Please note that the files in the zip file must directly go into the connector home server, not in another directory like ' ActiveDirectory.Connector - 1.1.0.6380' under Server Connector home.»

    3. start the connector for the bundle of connector server to be picked up by the server of the connector.

It is included in the P6 tools support and there is no delivery. Hope that you have already solved this request.

You have correctly configured users IOM to P6 by the p6 connector? I'm trying that. I imported the P6 connector. But problems on commissioning. Hope you could share what you had.

  • How to remove / uninstall an IOM connector?

    Hello

I DBAT connector installed to IOM (9.1.0.2 Application Database Tables), I trust also reconciliation and provisioning configured using this connector and it works fine.
But there isn't any way to remove / uninstall the connector and all objects associated with it?

    Thanks in advance!

Well, this is not possible. You can delete some objects but it will not erase the whole connector and some dependencies could not afford a lot a things should be deleted. Origin recommended to always sound take backup database so if you want rvert return at any time, you have an option left.

  • Reconciliation of 11g AD IOM - account delete OID

    Hi all

I have a scenario where I need to remove the account from OID for the user if resources AD is assigned (provisioned) to him through the reconciliation of AD. We supply OID for the user through access policies when the user is created in the IOM.

    Pointers would be appreciated

    Kind regards

Create your card which allows you to provide a user key, the name of the field, and the value of the field. In your card, search for the user based on the key of the user, and then create a hash using the field name and the value of the field to be updated this result set. Create a task in your AD process called something form that identifies the update of the checkbox on the user's profile. Set this task as conditional = true. Your task to insert of reconciliation, on the response tab, select default, and then on the lower part, add the task that you created.

  • Web services - role management connector

    Hello

do you have experience with Webservices IOM connector? I am incorporating a TS via this connector and need to resolve the roles of commissioning for accounts. The child table (contains the roles of account) changes generate messages UpdateAddAttributeValues/UpdateRemoveAttrbuteValues - I managed them in the BPEL (SOA of the connector part) code, but it seems to me that these messages are generated by a record change - so when you add three roles, three UpdateAddAttributeValues messages are generated - one per record in the roles table (at least it seems to be the case because the only role is on TS after the delivery of IOM). I'd rather supply the final set of roles in a single call, because the TS webservice expects a final list of roles as an input to the updateUser method parameter.

Can you recommend a solution in the Web services connector to supply the final set of roles in the call for an update?

    Peter

This is the expected behavior of any OOB/Custom connector and connector webservice is no different from that.

When there is an addition / deletion of data of the child, by the corresponding transaction process task is triggered. However, it doesnot limit allows you to add multiple child records at once. IOM will trigger several instance of the task to process in-house.

So if you add child data 3-4 at once, you can do by editing the process shape and add several records it or make the request through catalog if you have denounced as right.

However, if you want a single adapter to treat all newly added entries, you need to improve the connector. You can do this:

1 > turn off the OOB tasks for the data of the child, to create the task with a custom adapter that put the data into a temporary table.

2 > write a personalized planning work to treat all child data entered based on the date of creation and operation of the indicator (Add/Remove).

3 > job should clear the folder after the successful operation.

    .

  • Disable the execution of the tasks for the Exchange Connector

    EIS,

We use the Exchange for IOM connector and use almost all of the features of the connector. However, some of the processes on the process for the Exchange user form is not currently in use and will never be used. How can we remove these tasks of process safe? Is it fair to delete all the tasks? If someone else tried it? There is no documentation for this on the connector itself, that's why I am posting this here.

For example, the named taks process:

    • 'Keep deleted updated default items'
    • "Database update"

These are things we do not want to be triggered. We tried just renaming the ("Updated_disabled of the database") - but this obvisouly does not work.

Is it fair to remove stains and we're home free? No internal configuration anywhere required by the Exchange Connector?

    Kind regards

    Vegard

There are a lot of posts here on the triggers and spread. You kept the format of update " Update" by adding the change at the end of the task instead of starting name. This will result in ongoing triggers the task.

  • IOM - reconciliation event notifications

Hello. I have a client who asks if it is possible to configure notifications to e-mail for the failure of the reconciliation events.
As much as I know IOM does not provide this functionality, and a possible solution would be to handle this via a scheduled task that reads these recon events and send notifications. Is this correct or IOM has no OoTB functionality for that.

    Thanks in advance.

    Version of IOM: 11g

IOM have OOTB functioanlity for this. You can either configure BI publisher and using the query, you can retrieve data for failed recon events and schedule the job posting this daily report to the Manager.
Or you can configure directly to schedule a task to find the recon events, as you already do.

    Kind regards

  • IOM Lotus Notes target reconciliation - Recon events assigned to the user

    Hello

I have configured the Lotus Notes in IOM connector and I executed the reconciliation of the target for a certain user exists in Lotus Notes, which does not exist in the IOM. During reconciliation, a reconciliation event is created indicating he was assigned to the XELSYSADM user. The next step, I would like to perform is the creation of this user to the IOM, so I opened the IOM system administrator and I connect you as the user XELSYSADM. At this point I opens task list and search for approvals pending or open tasks associated with this event of reconciliation, but there aren't any. Can anyone help? How can I fill this event of reconciliation? How can I create this user?

Thank you very much in advance

If you want that for no match found, he should go to XELSYSADM then, it must decide what to do whther that the user should be created or not. Then, you can simply run Trusted Recon and change the rule of no match to assigned to XELSYSADM.

Whenever there is no match then he attributes to XELSYSADM then XELSYSADM can create user if he wants to with the help of the button to create a user.

But it has a disadvantage as users of Xellerate is used everywhere when we talk about Trsuted Recon, then it will change the rule for scope adapter. You can create dummy resource for recon trust with certain fields even as Xellerate users and return this RO in the HS task attribute. You are finished with your condition.
