  I have a rather strange problem. Basically if I fresh start my T500, aka show etc. of a complete power off, the splash screen, but the display never passes the actual Windows OS 10.   If you have switchable graphics, enter the BIOS setup and choose display. Set it ti discrete and disable switchable any graphics OS detection. Then let it win 10 install the video driver. This can take a few hours to win 10 to realize you've changed video card.

  I tried to install the latest 64-bit version of itunes (11.1.0.126) for Windows 8.  All in the middle of the installation, I lose all connectivity Internet, Wi - Fi and wireless.  Windows troubleshooting programs say that "it could be a problem with the driver."

  The solution is inelegant, but effective.

  Try the following:

  1. Open Control Panel > Device Manager.
  2. Plug in your device.
  3. Locate Bus USB Controllers > Apple Mobile Device USB Driver.
     It is also possible that the device may appear under the imaging devices of portable devices or other devices, or as a device USB of MTB.
  4. Right-click and select software update of the driver...
     
  5. Click Browse my computer for driver software.
     
  6. Click on let me pick from a list of drivers for devices on my computer.
     
  7. Click on Have Disk...
     
  8. Click Browse...
     
  9. Go to C:\Program Files\Common Apple Mobile Device Support\Drivers or
     C:\Program Files (x 86) \Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support\Drivers
     Then select the file usbaapl64.inf inside.
     
  10. Click Open, then OK, then close in order to complete the installation of the driver, and then quit Device Manager.

  If you do not see the device in step 3 above, and then expand those articles that are listed in Device Manager.

  I installed Apple music a few months ago and have been a variety of issues since doing so.   For good performance with El Capitan, recommend more than 16 GB of memory, but as your question was raised only with the recent update, this is probably not the cause.

  Two things...

  1. check how much you have free space on the disk. If it is less than 15% or 20 GB, try to release more;

  2. try the startup mode course and see if it helps.
