  If you have a hardware device that does not properly with your computer, you probably need a driver updated. There are three ways to update a driver:

  • Use Windows Update. You will have to perhaps set Windows Update automatically download and install recommended updates.

  • Install the software from the manufacturer of the device. For example, if your device is equipped with a disk, this disk can contain software that installs a driver for the device.

  • Download and update the driver yourself. Use this method to install a driver that you download from the manufacturer's website. If Windows Update can't find a driver for your device and the device didn't come with software that installs a driver.

  Step 1: Download and install the latest version of DirectX.

  I think the problem is with the Setup program. I read somewhere that it automatically detects the type of OS, 32 or 64 bits and installs the corresponding version. In this case, Adobe will provide a different Installer to maintain a 32-bit version in a 64-bit system. Not very likely.

  My guess is that it's the operating system and displays.

  I've recently updated this anniversary update of the W10 15Z laptop and now get an error message at startup which reads: "lack of system32\eed_ec.dll". Someone knows how to fix this? Can I copy this file from another computer and paste it in system32 on this laptop? I have tried scannow and no error was reported.

  Now when I run Toshiba Wireless Manager it attempt to initialize the device of wide band 3G but nothing happens.

  To be honest I don t understand how you could remove connections to broadband?
  However, you should check first if the 3G device is recognized in Device Manager correctly.
  If it is not recognized, this would require a 3G driver installation.

  When you get this error message exactly? You see that at the end of the installation during installation or recovery?

  I used the disk recovery from my laptop, very often, but never had a problem with it. It s still works correctly.
  If recovery disk doesn't work, it could be a malfunction of the equipment.

  Have you tested a normal disc of Microsoft Vista too?

  If you try to play the game on a laptop with nVidia graphics card that supports hybrid switchable with intel HD Graphics

  then this is the origin of the problem...
  Click on Device Manager and disable the intel HD Graphics until u play the game...

  and now run the Stronghold 3 exe file. as an administrator, otherwise it will crash under windows 7 64-bit...

  I am using VMware Workstation 9.0.4 build-1945795 and have a problem with "map of the virtual disks. I tried map a virtual drive on windows server 2008 r2, windows server 2008, windows 7, windows xp, windows 2000, windows 98, and BACK 6.22. I have went to the file - card virtual disks and get 'Could not initialize the library for the Assembly and disassembly of the virtual disks', every time I have try to map any operating system for the virtual machine. Some have snapshot while others do not is a mixture of 64-bit and 32-bit virtual machines. My system is Windows 7 Enterprise 64-bit. What I'm missing here because if a feature is available in the menu you seem to expect it to work actually on something.

  OK the fix for me was that I had to uninstall VMware workstation and now it seems to work very well on all the OS preceding reinstall it.
