1506 wireless card WiFi

I just got a Latitude E7440, it came equipped with the card WiFi Dell Wireless 1506.  I am running Windows 7 Professional 64 - bit.  There is a single driver for this card under Windows 7 64, that is the driver wireless Dell Wireless 1506 version 10.0.0.227, A01.  This 'pilot' charge not only the driver for the card, but also additional costs associated applications WiFi.  The installation of this driver does not have a "custom" installation option, it installs it wants to install.  One of the applications that it installs is called the Application wireless unified, which seems to be an application of Qualcomm.

I'm trying to find just the driver for this card, not all partners software applications that Dell seems to think that we need.  Anyone know where I can download/install just the driver for this card?

dsmpurchase,

Do a system restore point.

Download the drivers for your network card wireless drivers & downloads enter your service number, select your operating system, network, download the drivers and save them to your desktop.

Start, control panel, Device Manager, network, right-click on your card, on the left, click on uninstall. Tell him to remove the software and drivers.

Restart your computer. When you connect, the new hardware wizard will try to install the adapter. If the installation fails, then install the drivers saved to your desktop.

  • Alternative to wireless Intel Wifi Link 5100 AGN card?

I find that my Intel 5100 AGN wireless network card does not work as well as he used to.  I tried everything... even the drivers are perfectly up-to-date.  But I keep losing the connection to my wireless router, even if the strength of connection between 3 and 4 bars.  I find that I rarely make me fall if I have 5 bars.  But if it drops to 3, I get periodically fall any wireless network that I use.

    Hi, Gary:

What I meant by my statement about you have the best of the cards available for your laptop is that, Yes, I'm sure that the Intel 5300 is an improvement on the 5100, but the problem is that you can not install the 5300 in your notebook.

The Intel 5300 is not supported (only the numbers of cards/coins listed in the service manual can be installed) and your laptop wouldn't start until you have removed the card.

You can try another card in the manual, if you wish.

However, you are limited to the:

    4322 Broadcom 802.11a/b/g/n WLAN module

    Broadcom BCM4312 802. 11 b / module g WLAN (not a N Wireless card)

I guess you can use an external USB adapter, but I would like to get one with an external antenna connected to him, because I would have to believe that installing wire of 3 antenna in your address must provide superior reception on a simple USB wireless adapter with an internal antenna as its single antenna.

The antennas go all the way to the top of your screen.

Tinker you with advanced network adapter settings?  They can be found by clicking on the card in the Device Manager, click the Advanced tab.  Take note of where the parameters are now so if something is buggy, you can change their return.

Here is a guide to the advanced settings that you have and the recommended settings for them.

  • can hoe I get my laptop to read my wireless card? I reinstalled the driver after that someone removed it but it stiil can't find my wifi

I have a Toshiba Satellite l655 laptop and it does not find my more wireless card, it has just stopped working. I think my ex-husband has deleted the drivers.  I thought I could just reinstall the driver to resolve the problem.  Is it possible that my card just died and I need to install a new one.

Any driver is provided on the support site of Tosh specific to your model.

It's a little difficult to remove a driver, unless its actually a wi - fi wi - fi card is integrated on the motherboard.

  • HP Pavilion 15z-aw000 CTO: Replace wireless card

Can I replace the wireless card Realtec RTL8723BE in this notebook with capable of 5G wireless?

    Hi there @vht1951,

I understand that you are looking for more information on the issue of whether a module compatible to add the functionality of dual band for your laptop is available.

Looking at the: HP Pavilion Notebook PC - Maintenance and Service of Guide from the support page for your model, page 3 (13 of 94 in the pdf file), it enumerates wireless adapters, which is: Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 3165 802.11 ac 1 x 1 WiFi + BT Combo Adapter 4.2.

If you find your model on the HP parts store, the part is listed as: '806723-005 Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 3165 802.11 ac 1 x 1 WiFi and Bluetooth 4.2 combination WLAN fit' and is currently listed as for the remainder.

You can check the site later to see the availability or the other site HP Partsurfer, to see if you there is a seller who might already own part.

I hope that helps and if it does not solve your problem, please mark this message as a solution. Bravo would be appreciated as well.

  • Satellite Pro 4300 series - is there an available wireless card

    Hi all

New to this forum I bought an old laptop Toshiba Satellite Pro 4300 series recently as a starter machine for my son. The computer is currently connected to the internet using 3Com Megahertz 10/100 LAN PC Card PCMCIA 3CCFE574BT with dongle connected through hub speedtouch.

Can someone tell me if there is a PC wireless card that I can use with this machine without having to connect wires in the hub.

    See you soon

    Hello

As far as I know, the machine does not support the Wlan and has not been equipped with all Wlan cards.
If you want to connect the computer to the WLan router then I would recommend using a USB WiFi key that would be the simplest solution.

There are different sticks USB Wlan that supports different Wlan standards; 802.11 B or G, you must choose one that is compatible with your WLan router.

    See you soon
