My mother bought a DeskJet 1510 printer/scanner, but when we went to sett the printer paper feed tray at the back, we noticed that one of the clips that hold on to the printer with was broken. We tried to tape, but it wouldn't do any good about feeding paper into the printer from the status bar. HP makes the repairs or replacements. or we should return the printer whenever we bought it?

You try to print a photo, if so what program? If you print word documents, try printing in draft mode.
I would like you open the printer from the desktop icon or go to Start> all programs> HP> Deskjet 1510> 1510 Deskjet series. The Printer Wizard, click the estimated ink levels> Services> print quality diagnostic report, not this dark printing page as well?

I have a 1510 deskjet printer and must replace black ink. The ink used was originally of 61 but I can not find ink 61 here in the Middle East but 122 compatible sound says the ink in my printer. Unfortunately, after I put the new ink (122) the printer says that it is not compatible. What seems to be the problem? I hope you can help me thanks!

It sounds like your printer is regionalized to work with ink cartridges where you can live.
Now that you are in the Middle East the region sells only 122 ink cartridge.
Here's a similar post that describes this problem:
You will want to contact HP Customer Support and ask for a "regionalization Reset."
This will allow your printer to use cartridges of the region where you live now.

HP Deskjet 2540: Yellow not right!
I recently adapted authentic HP 301 colour and black ink for my printer.
Since then, the yellow has been printing more as a color or as a pure yellow that makes any muddy color printing. Nothing not done, I ran all cleaning and diagnosis.
It's a questionable print cartridge or am I missing something?

DeskJet cartridge not recognized
At Christmas when we lived in Hong Kong, we bought a Deskjet 1510. The black cartridge, with what he gave was number 61 on that. In the United Kingdom there is no cartridges with this number. I asked in a store and they said that the UK cartridge for this printer is 301 or 301XL. I adapted a 301XL, but it is not recognized. Is there something I can do?

I understand that you have a 1510 Deskjet who bought in Hong Kong and you live now with this printer in the United Kingdom. I know just what the problem is and you will get to the right spot
To make a long story short, your printer must be regionalized to the United Kingdom. Each printer is regionalized in the region, it is sold in since there are different cartridges for each region, as you have already discovered! You will need to purchase a set of cartridges of the United Kingdom (if you haven't already done so) and then continue to call Technical Support HP in the United Kingdom as evidenced by this document find and install the cartridges after moving to another country .
Once you talked to technical support, they will be able to regionalize the printer in the United Kingdom and you continue to buy 301 cartridges

HP Deskjet 1510 - will not print?

Recently I bought HP Deskjet 1510, but it will not be printed.
When I click on print a word document, it goes into the queue but then disappears after a few seconds - and the printer does nothing.
I tried troubleshooting, but it is said that there is no problem. I've loaded everything that was on the CD that came with the printer and bought the right USB cable, so have no idea why it does not print... Everything works fine (scan, copy)...
Any help would be much appreciated!
I discovered that it was nothing wrong with the printer, just with my computer. Has had enough of trying to solve problem so abandoned my computer windows7 and bought a new printer and windows 8.1 works perfectly. see you soon
