2. separate Apple ID.

We have 2 separate Apple ID. We don't want a family sharing. We want to share iCal and Contacts but keep private all the rest. In my view, there is a way we can have that. I have an iPhone 6s and an iMac running the latest version of the software. She has an iPhone 5 and iPad. All are up to date.

Any suggestions? I could always go to the genius bar.

Thanks, JIM

Would this help with the calendar:

iCloud: share one calendar with others

In regards to Contacts, I believe that the only way to synchronize only those who would be through sharing of the family.

Is there a particular reason you want to use this feature?

Is there another way, of that I'm not aware?

    Hi richardstoddard,

I understand that you're looking to keep your daughter to make purchases with your ID (which is set up on his iPhone) Apple. The options you mentioned (signature out of your Apple ID on his camera and set up the family sharing) are both, despite the first being inherent in the methods of the latter, effective to prevent unauthorized purchases are paid.

First of all, signature settings > iTunes and App Store would not prevent updates iOS to be downloaded and installed, because these processes do not require an Apple ID.

Second place, turning on the sharing of the family provides a process by which she would like to make purchases must be approved by you. The process was to implement the family sharing includes set up a separate Apple ID for your daughter (who, with the sharing of the family, will have access to your content previously purchased without any extra charge). Purchases attempted to him (even though they are attempted with his Apple ID password or ID Touch) must be approved by you, as they will be charged to the method of billing configured on your Apple ID (like the family Organizer).

  • Replace .mac account shared with iCloud separate accounts.

    Hello

I'm looking for advice on how best to clean up the mess created by our continued use of our ancient .mac account.

My wife and I have had an account .mac since 2005.  Our e-mail addresses are aliases that are associated with this account.  It's messy.

My wife and I would like to have separate accounts .icloud but, if possible, do not want to give up e-mail addresses that we had for 11 years.  Is this possible?  We also want to make the transition without complicating our existing .mac account settings. For example, our children now have their own accounts of .icloud that are related to the original address of .mac as part of a family sharing.

    Thank you!

Using more an iDevice on the same computer

This mainly applies to couples who add another device and don't want their electronic mail, messages, etc. being duplicated on both devices. To start reading: How to use several iPhone, iPad or iPod devices with one computer. You must create a login separate Apple and password for anyone who will use the new iDevice. See Apple - my Apple ID and frequently asked questions about the Apple ID. The easiest way is to do it on the computer using iTunes: iTunes - how to set up an Apple ID iTunes.

On the computer, create a new user account for the person with the new iDevice. This is the user account always uses this person. He or she will no longer use the other user account. This way the person will have a separate iTunes library. Note When finished, do not 'share' apps under a single Apple ID. Each of you must buy your own applications under your own Apple ID. When you decide to divide like this you will have to buy new applications they want to use.

First, transfer the new devices to a new account as well as all your data.  Save pictures of flow picture you want to keep for your camera (unless they are already in the camera roll) by opening your Photos app, tap Albums icon at the bottom. Now press the album My Photo Stream; Press Select; tap the photo you want to select. tap the share (box with the face up arrow) in the lower left corner icon; in the film, and then click Save.

If you synchronize notes with iCloud, you want to keep, you must open each of your notes and email it to yourself. Later, you can copy and paste the text into the new notes created in your new account.

Tap Settings > iCloud > remove account (removes it only from this device, not iCloud; the person who maintains the current account is not affected) provide the password to disable find my phone and choose to keep on my iDevice when prompted.  Sign in with another Apple ID to create your new account. Choose merge to download your data.

Once you are on separate accounts, you can each go to icloud.com and remove data from the other person to your account.

  • Apple ID problems/incidents?

So here is the situation as a whole, I do not confuse anyone.

The original Apple ID which was created several years back when I got an iPod Touch 2nd generation, at the time where I don't have a personal e-mail address, so I had to use my father. When I got an iPad 4, I used the same Apple ID (logically, since they were my two devices). Then I got an iPhone, because he was still my own, I used the same Apple ID, the same as with the personal address of my father.

    Here's the problem occurs.

Work so far, my father now has an iPhone himself. Since we now own separate devices and I had the already created a personal email (but never changed my Apple ID to him so far), I wanted to create separate Apple ID for my father and his phone and mine. The current Apple ID with all my previous information and content in way back my father's e-mail address and name, but I've changed all this already - change to my own email address, check, change the password to one of my own and change my name etc and everything's fine, the new Apple ID has everything saved and is now under my personal identification information. However, when my father tries to create an Apple ID with his personal e-mail (one that has been used originally of my Apple ID, but has since been changed and deleted), he continues to tell us that this Apple ID is already in use and try another Apple. Even when I go to iforgot.apple.com and enter the e-mail address of my father, he tells us that this ID there is no Apple. It's confusing the * out of my and any help would be appreciated.

Let me summarize your long post to the points as I understand them:

    • When you arrived on the scene of the Apple, you started using Apple ID of your father
    • Later, when you've got your own e-mail address, you have changed old Apple ID your father to your e-mail address.
    • Then, you have been able to keep anything that might have been purchased under Apple ID of your father at that time.
    • Now, your father has recently acquired an Apple device and is interested in establishing a code of Apple.
    • He was expected to use his old Apple ID, because it argues that the e-mail account.  (But this is not possible, like the old Apple ID are never considered retirement.  This old address was passed to your new Apple ID.)
    • What he can do, then, is to pick up a new email address, use it as a brand new Apple ID and start over again in the Apple world.  It will, of course, owner of any music, apps, etc., that you have them.
  • Two accounts using Apple ID on the same user account

    Hello

I just bought my two children, who are 7 and 9, an iPod Touch each. I would like to implement separate Apple ID (with the sharing of the family) then we can use and iMessage, find friends - but I don't want to set up separate user accounts on the Mac Mini that we (the two user accounts would be unnecessarily complicated for them).

All the tips I found online seems to suggest two user accounts, then someone can tell me if logging in and out of the Apple ID in iTunes even work for them (as identifier Apple is much broader than iTunes just used by Mac system)?

    Thank you!

With the help of two Apple ID on the same iTunes account will cause problems as the Apple ID use two families sharing. When iTunes is connected to with an Apple ID and one of the following conditions is present:

    Download the latest purchases

    Use the family sharing

    Use iTunes game

    Use the automatic downloads

    Use iCloud music library

The device or the Mac becomes associated with this Apple ID. Once that the device or the Mac is associated with one Apple, another ID that uses one of these services cannot connect for 90 days. After 90 days, the second ID can connect, but it then becomes associated to this ID.

But if you use the sharing of family and children are less than 13 years old, then they must use ask to buy, and that would mean that the organizer would be when even pay for all of their iTunes purchases. Then why not sign Organizer Apple ID in iTunes on Mac Mini?

  • Reached at the number on apple ID account is not fair and cannot be changed

Hi, I have 3 phones and I used the same apple ID for all wrong. I managed to have an ID separate apple for each phone to try to separate things now. Unfortunately, there are some residual mix ups. One of them being the accessible number on my account ID that I had put in place for the phone has phone number B. I tried to change my phone has and it happens with saying "this phone number" phone B which is not fair. I'm trying to change the number "reachable to the ' phone A real number A.

Any ideas / advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance!

  • Why receive iMessages on my other iPhone? Two iPhones, Apple ID, one number.

    The installation program:

Two iPhones (6s + and 5), an Apple, a phone number ID. I use the same Apple ID on both phones. Both phones have parallel sim cards using the same number. Both phones run on iOS 9.3 and 9.3.1 late first.

    The problem:

When someone sends me an iMessage on my phone number, the message is received in one phone, but not the other. If I saw right to the problem, the iPhones of the receiver is always the one where I finally activated iMessages (in the settings).

    What works:
When someone sends an iMessage to my email (iMessage), iMessage is received in both phones. When someone sends a text message SMS on my phone number, it is received in both phones. When someone calls me on my phone number, the carillon of both phones and I can answer on either.

    What I tried:
Made sure that two iPhones were activated in [Settings]-> [message]-> phone number [send / receive]. IMessage is switched off and back on. Restart the iPhone. Signing and to iCloud. Reset the network settings. Hard reset the iPhone. All this on two iPhones many times and in different orders. All no Apple support told me of for iPhones for a 51 minute call. Another pair of iPhones (4 and 5) running iOS 9.3.1. Nothing did.

    Questions:

Is someone using a similar setup? Have you had the same problem? You resolved it somehow?

    PS:
I am well aware that the problem might be circumvented by changing the configuration (for example using separate Apple ID or separate numbers).
But I'm only interested in solutions to this real configuration (two iPhones, Apple ID, one number). If you have to run on any version of the iOS, please let me know.

Do you think your iPhone in the service to the front (on the latest iPhone). If you do, try the forward (as if your first iPhone was an iPad or an iMac without SIM card). Let me know if it works, but it should. I to iPhones, and I get my texts on two of them two numbers with transfer of text messages (in the iMessage settings).

    Hi Jose

Your best solution is to use separate Apple ID, coupled with the sharing of the family, with each person's iPhone (and other devices) connected to their own Apple ID. Some features probably otherwise not work as expected.

Create a new ID Apple for yourself or your wife:

    https://www.Apple.com/support/appleid/create-signin/

To continue to share its purchases (including purchases beyond), set up sharing of family:

    http://www.Apple.com/icloud/family-sharing/

Implement the family sharing - Apple Support

Before starting this process, which will be implemented with the new Apple ID should initially désapparier shows them:

    - Pairing your Apple Watch and Support Apple - iPhone

Once the new Apple ID has been created and is used on their iPhone, then they should associate their shows to their iPhone again (unless, of course, a new watch), this time in the title of their new Apple ID:

My company has four televisions, each with their separate apple tv. What we want to do is play the same images simultaneously on all televisions to four. Is it possible to have a working distance apple on all four at the same time?

Unless the ATV was all next to each other so the remote control has a direct line of sight to all of a sudden, I think that it is not possible.

In addition, unless they all come from the same ATV, video streams rise to end slightly out of sync.

You have a video wall or are the TV all in different places?

your question is a bit difficult...
