  I have divs side by side, I want to have the same height no matter if more content is in div 1 or div 2. I want it to be sensitive so when the window resizes or if the user is on mobile or tablet, it still works.   If you use fluid grid Layouts, none of these methods do not work.  I think the best you can do is determine the min-height required for desktop computers & tablets.  Mobile devices do not need min-height because these divisions will stack up.

• Cannot enlarge table overset cell height.

  I'm working on a large format indesign document. I placed the text in a word document in indesign and am currently apply paragraph styles and table styles to make it bit more attractive.

  However, I encountered a problem. I have some large table cells, covering the length of pages and more sometimes. For these same cells, the text appears in excess. So I want to drag the length of the cell to the bottom of my page but I can't.

  This has nothing to do with the height of the cell value ' exactly... ". I checked that already.

  Can anyone help? Extremely frustrating.

  I am facing a problem that I have not used to have.  First of all, a description of our envorinnement:

  We have a few large tables partitioned and performance optimization, our ETLs use bluk, add notes, parallelism and so on.  This create several holes of unused space in tablespaces/data files as well a kind of leak of space on our drives.

  A complete correction would re-create the tablespaces move everything is of opposes another.  It would be impratical, because there are about 15 who are top of 100 GB; the time and effort to recreate everything is not affordable for the Business.

  Instead, we have a single proc that comes to calculate the actual amount of used space (converted to blocks) and makes a move of all objects above this block_id.  Just after this operation, there is a dynamic shrink based on the new HWM (given that the objects have been moved) on the data file freeing disk space.  As we have a datafile by tablespace and a tablespace by schema, we would like to keep this body, if we make a single movement for objects, like 'ALTER TABLE' | owner: '. ' || nom_segment | "MOVE; "(the complete query works with all types of data such as partitions of table objects, the index partitions and the subpartions).  This will move the object in the same space for the first freespace on the tables and free up space at the end of the file to shrink.  In theory.

  This unique proc used to work properly.  In a 650 GB GB 530 tablespace in use moving about 20 that Go (the amount of data beyond the HWM 530 GB) is simpler than to create a new file/TBS and the displacement of 20 GB is faster than Go 530.

  But suddenly things changed when some TBS refused to be narrowed.  What I found out: the command move doesn't fail, it works very well and Oracle really moves the object.  But for reasons that I don't know, he's not moving it at the beginning of the file, it keeps the object at the end.  So the da calculates the new HWM, but because some objects that were in the tail of the queue, the shrink is done with a very high HWM, if no real space is reclaimed.

  So, the main question: How does the ALTER TABLE FOO MOVE really works?  I thought that it would be always to move the object to the beginning of the file thus reorganize, but I analyzed the last objects that gave me this problem (block_id before and after the move, compared to block_ids empty and everything) and actually, I see that they were moved at the end of the file, although there is enough space to accommodate initially.

  Okay, I think I found the problem.  Before that I just pulled the script as posted, but then I had the good idea to improve its performance with parallelism, so I added:

  ALTER SESSION FORCE PARALLEL DDL PARALLEL 16;

  ALTER SESSION FORCE PARALLEL DML PARALLEL 16;

  Returning to prallel not running, that I could reuse the freespace on the beginning of the file, and then narrow it down.

  Obviously, each writing data in parallel mode reuse freespace, I just forgot that a TABLE ALTER MOVE is also a data write operation.  I fell a bit ridiculous, caught in the same trap that I was trying hard.

• Same height of column

  Hi, my page has 3 columns.  Created using divs, just floating to the left.  They fit on the entire page fine.

  The question is the tail arcoss up and down with them.  All have a height assigned to them.  I checked and recheck and all settings appear to be the same.  When you view in Design view the centre and right-hand columns are moved to the bottom (about 12px what he looks like). Using live view, or preview on the web, just the right column is lower.  The heights are the same: looks like the right column is just pushed down a bit.  Also - if I Zoom in the preview in Safari - it seems.

  Height of the column is always controlled by the amount of content not expressed inside the values.  Some people use an increase in size of the text in their browser for easier display but not necessarily the whole page Zoom.  If you put a fixed height on columns create you the potential for a major usability problem.

  Yes, you can have two pages based on the object of the view and what you can do is to have a bean managed for each page and alter the query from the VO programmatically add the male/female criteria on the managed bean class constructor method (or call a method that alter the manufacturer VO criteria) or by using PagePhaseListener.

• Report Generation Toolkit Table Row height-MS Word

  I have a problem affecting the height of table row in the report generation tool. I can set the width of the thin columns, but line height seems to remain the same, no matter what I put it. I have attached the VI that generates and formats the table and print it's catchy. I've also attached the template file that I use.

  Advice for it to work well? I'm doing the cells exactly the same height as the text inside.

  So I essaye.2 and it did not work.  So I went to Word to change it manually, and it doesn't work anymore.  There is a selection box in word, for the properties of the table, which appears as default value 'at least'.  When I have it changed manually on 'exactly' in word, no problem with le.2 manually in Word.

  I hope that this can be set in the model, for all new tables inserted.  I don't know that the generator report VI sets this property.  Well, that's a start for the question.

  You can go in the table add VI and expose the property.  See photo.   However, you must decide if you want to 'upgrade' this VI to expose this property or make a copy with the exposed property at all times.   I not messed with new reports of class too, so not sure of ins and outs with that.

  I think that's the problem with the line size becomes smaller.

  I want the tabe spread throughout the page. And it must continue to stretch when the user disclose the showDetail.
  
  I could put a panelStretchLayout in the root, but if I put showDetail in a facet (like at the top) and panelCollection in another one (Center), at disclosure showDetail, the facet is to always have the same height.
  And if I put panelGroupLayout to the root, the table stretches not whole page.
  
  Any suggestion?

  Use a PanelStretchLayout. Put the ShowDetail in the superior facet and set topHeight = 'auto' for the PanelStretchLayout.

  Is there an easy way to control the height of a table cell? Is there a key combination that will allow me to move the bottom margin upwards or downwards, or do not develop until the last line of text?

  By default, the height of line expands with the content.

  Use the Table > Format > row height to set a height of minimum and maximum line for selected rows:

  

  Don't forget that you can control the margins of cell for the table in table designer > basic and properties by the paragraph by paragraph Designer tag > Table Cell properties. These margins might be useful to get the look are are after as well.
