2000-0146 repair manual of hw

Hello

If my HARD drive has failed. Diagnostic error 2000-0146. I know it is recommended to replace the hard disk immediately, which I do, but I have a few unback-increased data I want to recover.

So far, any approach to software has failed. I can't boot from the drive and even boot from another disk with the defective one connected as slave wont do good. I managed to connect the drive via external media via USB, but I only see the 100 MB system partition. The main data partition of 698, 54 GB is detected, but it is listed as filesystem RAW., and as I discovered during some tests desperate thereafter, it cannot be formatted.

I tried to recover the data using Zero Assumption Recovery, which has detected that the entire partition is filled with bad sectors. I know that areas are not damaged, and the electronics of the drive that prevent access to them.

I also tried other tools of recovery, but without success. I gave up to fix this on the software layer, but if someone has a new approach to software I'm open to ideas.

My question is: is it possible to recover the data by replacing electronics (chip-Board on the underside of the disc) with the same, but a whole new drive? I know that there may be a problem on some other place, but given the circumstances, there is still a small chance that it would work? I am concerned about some failure stops that would prevent construction drive/chips with they were not manufactured with parts.

Thank you all for the thoughts,

Tesarst2.

Based on the ability (I guess 750Go) this player has 100% flexible single read/write on the circuit board.  If you throw this PCB trash you throw your data with it.    Make SURE not not to lose.

If you want your things back to send to Gillware, Dell data recovery provider.  Be SURE to send the original PCB!    Search for 'data recovery' to dell.com to get referred to Gillware or call us at the 877-624-7206.

If it detects in BIOS, they can get it back.

    e. When you reach the screen install Windows, select your preferences in the language to install, time and currency format and keyboard or input method boxes, and then click Next.

    g. make sure that the appropriate operating system is selected, and then click Next.
    h. After you click Next, the System Recovery Options menu appears.
    i. click on startup repair. Once the Startup Repair tool is completed, click Finish to restart the computer.
    j. remove the DVD and restart the computer to see if the system boots fine.

Step 2: If you do not have the Vista DVD, start the computer in safe mode and restore the computer

  • Error code 2000-0146 and 0F00:065 D and B 0F00:137

I have a Dell Studio 1735 laptop.  Today it froze on me.  I could only make a hard stop.  I tried to log in again and got on the desktop with icons, but couldn't go further.  Don't have hard stop yet and I tried to go back to the top.  I made a kind of diagnostic tests and received the error code 2000-0146 following.  Also received the 0F00:065 D error reading DISK_0-self-test and 0F00:137 B DVDRW_1-disk is missing Virgin insert the data disc (example of the RCD).  I don't know what all these means.  Can someone direct me if it can be repaired and how I can fix it.  Or do I need a new hard drive.  Your help is greatly appreciated.  I use another laptop to write this message.

The first two messages mean that the hard drive has failed. The third says there is no disc in the DVD drive, so it could not be tested.

  • 2000-0146 raid 1

Initially get 2000-0142, not the OS starting and stopping at mup.sys when starting in safe mode.  Copied into the original registry files (security, by default, sam, etc.) to retrieve the BONES, but now the keyboard and mouse are not active while in the operating system (the computer makes noise "dee-dunk" when they are connected and removed) and receiver 2000-0146 from diagnosis.

It is a Dell Precision T3400 (downgraded from Vista to XP) with a Raid 1, so I think that if it is a hard drive problem, it would still be a good hard left.  Mouse and keyboard work fine in diagnosis and in the recovery console.  Have tried both USB than PS2 for the mouse and keyboard.

Make a back-up and reinstalled (instead of repair) Windows on a drive.  The first warning was about to lose all the data, but there are options on the maintenance of the windows partition, OS works, and a .dll not found.

    Hello

Problem is that the Maintenance manuals is not a public document and you won't be able to find it anywhere.
What you can do is to use Google and search if you will be able to find pages with the description of disassembly.

    Have you ever googled around?

  • Satellite M55 - I need the repair manual

    Hello

I'm new to this forum and I'm hoping to get some info.

I am need of a repair manual for my laptop M55. Can someone tell me where to go for this manual?

    Thanks fopr any help.

    Bill Olivier

Unfortunately, repair manuals is not a public document and is not free to download.
In General, change the HARD drive is not complicated and on most phones models can be made easily.

I have European Satellite M50 and the HARD drive is under the cover of the HARD drive. You can find it on the lower side of your laptop.
It is the largest. Remove this cover and you will see how the HARD drive is fixed.

  • Error code 2000-0146, 0141

2000-0146, 2000-0141 error code.  He cannot get the computer to go to safe mode. Computer turns on, dell appears and then darkens.  Any help is greatly appreciated.

When I turn on the computer, I can go to F2 or F12.  When I hit F8 a list appears, but any item I select the screen goes black and then after 2-3 minutes it says failed to start.  Try F1 to reboot, F2, to go to the configuration and F5 to run Diagnostics.  If you run them diagnoses get error codes.

These are mistakes of automatic drive test. You will probably need to replace the hard drive.

  • Received error BSOD, ran Diagnostics, got the error code 2000-0146, tried to boot from different HARD drive, got the same stop error message

So my friend gave me his computer dell laptop. The thing would boot normally for a few days until he would give me a blue screen of death with the "UNMOUNTABLE_BOOT_VOLUME" message constantly to not even upward. I ran the diagnostics and got the error code 2000-0146. What I've read, this code error means that the HARD drive is bad and must be replaced. So, to make sure that it's the hard drive, tried to boot from an old hard drive, I got around the installation by USB and windows gave me the same stop error message. May - so that means it's a motherboard problem?

No, it isn't - unless the operating system was installed on this drive AND the system in question, that it won't work as a bootable drive.

Unplug the system, remove or disconnect the battery and hold the power for 30 seconds approximately.  Turn on and re-run the diagnostic tests - if the same error appears again, the drive is bad.  Replace it.
