  Even though I think I understand what you're SAYING you want to do I am not at all convinced that you should actually do.

  The integrity of the data - you will simply ignore this aspect of the problem?

  This guarantees that the lines corresponding to a key value of substitution even remotely represent the same real data set. For example, a customer table may use a sequence to a surrogate key, but a key value of 23 in a pattern table can be a totally different person from the person with the key value of 23 in the other schema.

  Further - even if the same person IS represented, the other columns/attributes can be different. Someone may have changed of name, address, telephone or any other piece of data. So now you would just be throwing the source line because it has the same substitution as a line existing target key.

  Frankly I do not know any business user I've ever worked with who would take that kind of risk.

  Even to do what you say you want, you do it in an operation of "import". You load data into a work table, and then retrieve data that do not have an existing key value in the target table.

  My recommendation is that you, or someone, to prepare a detailed functional requirements document that addresses ALL potential problems with data integrity that might arise and explains how business users want to treat.

  If you do that you are virtually guaranteed to corrupt your data. In addition to corruption will be such that it will be very difficult to know what was the source of any particular data item.

These options indicate if the project or loaded instrument drivers files are used by the Interactive execution window. Otherwise, if the corresponding option is not enabled, the Interactive execution window fails to connect with your instrument driver symbol and you get an error of unresolved symbol.

  Hi John,.

  One thing you need to check on these machines that fail is the File Format of the FP.  This opens a file of .fp to the CVI, then going to the Options menu and then click on the FP File Format.  In this dialog box, make sure that the default new File Format is set to CVI 5.5 and later versions or CVI 8.5 and later versions. Once you put in one of these formats, you should be able to generate your panels to function again.  Please let me know if this does not work, or if you have any questions.

  Hello Bernd,

  There are a few options for you.  If you do not have one of your windows in the display by tabs, you can go to Options' environment and then uncheck the "Show workspace tabs.  Otherwise, the first time that you open a panel of function and it is shown in actual size you can go to the window menu and select "release all Windows FP".  This will remove the windows control panel function, and each new multi-function open window will remain off-station.  If you want to dock them, you can simply return to the window menu and select "confine all windows of FP.

  I have a problem. I have a two schemas, X_DEV and Y_DEV. X_DEV is the schema of analysis for my development work, but some queries are performed against the Y_DEV schema. All of the tables that I reference Y_DEV have private synonyms in X_DEV.
  
  I have a form with an interactive report on Y_DEV.users (table). Everything works fine.
  
  Until I want to export/import the request of my dev environment to production environment.
  
  As part of the import process, I can clarify that X_PROD is now the analysis schema.
  
  And, before I have to export/import, I can go into the SQL query for the interactive report and remove the qualifier of "Y_DEV" of the table "users"; "Select * from users...". "instead of ' select * from Y_DEV.users...';" because of the synonyms defined in X_DEV, which works very well.
  
  The same synonyms are defined in X_PROD; pointing to the tables of Y_PROD.

  If that's all that needs to be changed, I would at least give it a try. As long as there is no reference number (ID, the ID of the workspace, all sorts of things, I don't know,) which reference these - which will then have to be changed as well - I think it would work.

  This extracted single query columns present on the two schemas but with different data types. These columns only on one of the two schemas are not extracted.

  I have a SINGLE function device that contains a bar with 4 MACs. In my license, I create 4 net device object and save using register_netdev (dev). It works very well under Linux that each device is called "eth %d", and the kernel replace %d with a new number. However, in ESXi 5 +, it only recognizes and begins one of net devices (which happens somehow always being in port 4). How to recognize all 4 devices that I have saved?

  Since the No., we decided to respond to this... I found the solution (it is actually mentioned in a note in the DDK documentation):

  		netdev-> pdev-> netdev = NULL;
  		netdev-> pdev_pseudo = netdev-> pdev;
  		-> pdev netdev = NULL;
  		netdev-> features | = NETIF_F_PSEUDO_REG;

  This will make all "ports" a device pseudo-device... that is way to ESXi support a multi-port device. Do this for each netdevice you create (in my case, 4 netdevices).
