  Problem: 'SYSTEM OFF 69112228 '.

  1.) had password on boot enabled.

  2.) on the startup, received message to enter the startup password ('enter the password administrator or power on password')

  3.) took 3 tries (keyboard not responding does not correctly) to type the 8 digits of start

  4.) when I typed in password on startup, I get the message "SYSTEM DISABLED 69112228.

  Now. . (a few days later) when I start the laptop, I get say message blue screen:

  'Enter password administrator or power on password' - but now the keyboard does not allow me to enter the password in the startup.

  Can anyone help please?

  The only solution is to remove the CMOS/RTC of the device battery and wait 15mintues then reinsert on and check. Link given below for reference check 46 Chapter 4 removal and replacement procedures

• Replacing the keyboard on a laptop of HP 2000-299WM

  My daughter had a ball of pop water on this laptop. Not his fault because he was his younger brother who did it! Laughing out loud!.   There are about 5 buttons no longer works.  Otherwise, the laptop works as far as I can tell.  How can I order a new keyboard for this laptop and install it?
