PSC 950

I use Adobe Pagemaker 7.0, when I try to print my paper that the printer cuts the part of the document off the coast. Sometimes, it's the last inch, sometimes its three-quarters, sometimes his 80%. I get an error - print message. I have another printer print the same document and I have no problem. How can I fix the problem?

Hello

I see that you have a problem with the printer.

You experience this problem when you perform a copy?

I suggest to uninstall the adobe program and then reinstall the program and try again.

  • How do I change computer to use only the black cartridge for print on PSC 950 h

I'm having a problem with my hp psc 950 printer - when I try to copy something it gives me an error to support code on enter to align cartridges-i do this and it is not always copy - how can I change the printer to use only black ink, the color cartridge is probably more good, I just changed black ink and I really don't need the color in my copies - all solutions would be greatly appreciated

    Thank you

    Hi yalulu,

I understand that you do not use the black cartridge only. I find the features page and the manual for the PSC 950 but did not find that I was looking for. I would suggest trying to use the printer in mode single cartridge, but I am not sure if the printer supports this feature, that's what I was looking for.

Try out both cartridges, then put in black only. If this does not work, the only other suggestion I have is to replace the color cartridge.

You can use the below document to troubleshoot color cartridge, select the document that best describes the issue, or take a look at the same time. You can find these useful.

I hope this helps to solve the problem you are experiencing.

    Hello

I see that you have a problem with the printer. I suggest you do a hard reset with the printer first.

    Hard Reset:

Unplug the power cord from the printer and the wall

    Take out the toner cartridges.

    Wait for 30 seconds

Plug the power cord into the printer and the wall (be sure that the printer is plugged into the wall and not a surge protector)

Replace the toners/cartridges in the printer

    Let me know the results

  • PSC 950 pilots searched for Win98SE

HP is not compatible Windows 98 anymore, so I was wondering if anyone had a driver for my printer for Windows 98 Second edition.

Oops, sorry for this topic.  I don't like not really the scam "driver detective posing as an update of the driver".  I checked here and I still have a version that CD 1.0 by flying over my PSC 950 I gave away years ago.  If you are in the United States as the CD send me a private message with your address and I'll send it to you, free of charge.

  • slow or no printing on HP PSC 950 xi

I have a psc 950 xi only recently started to print VERY slowly, or not at all.  An impression can take 10 minutes to complete.  I tried the diagnostics HP, uninstalled and reinstalled the software, unplugged and replugged in the printer... nothing seems to help... Help!

This is caused by the failure of one of your cartridges.  If you have a replacement cartrdige (or even an old cartridge out of ink) try replacing first black then the color cartridge.  Remove the cartridges and clean the contacts as described here can also help.

  • HP PSC 950 All in One Printer: function of enlargement

The enlargement function will not return to 100%.  For a project on paper, it was changed to 145% and it keeps back to this default, even after 100% updated, using this setting to print.  The very next printing project, it will be determined automatically to 145%.

You are printing or copying?  I just checked and the printer in Windows 8.1 driver does not name option.  If you then copy the default one be amended as follows:

  • PSC 950xi and Windows 7 problem: not all pages are printed

This problem has been reported by other at least 2 x in the past, go back for 2010, but there is no satisfactory solution that worked for everyone.  A real difficulty should not be available now?

My PSC 950xi printer works perfectly with Windows XP.  Then I got a new laptop with Windows 7 and the 'good' HP driver has been installed automatically, as described in your Web site.  But now most of my impressions are incomplete; only the first part of the document is printed, and the last printed page is reduced by half.  Sometimes nothing prints. "Error" appears in the print queue, and I have to cancel the document to even try another impression (which then often does not work). I tried reinstalling my driver, as explained by HP, but without success

A user suggested defining the "printer" HPCPP118 (RAW data type) processor (printer properties > advanced > Print Processor).  It worked for him.  However, it is not possible for me (and at least one other user) because the only available print processor is winprint.

I hope you can help.   PSC 950 is not on the list of printers HP can't stand not (at least not on the list I've seen online)

It seems to have solved the problem (1) Control Panel/hardware and Sound/display devices and printers, then right clicking on my printing device and select remove device. T (2) with printer, I unplugged my USB connector and then plugged back in and Windows 7 found the right printer driver automatically. (3) I had to wait a period of time (less than a minute) for the printer (re) - added to appear as the device by default and with the right image. (4) I never chose "Add printer" at all; Windows 7 was able to add a new when the USB connector is connected.

  • Drivers for HP PSC 500 for Windows 7.

I could not install my printer HP PSC 500 on my new HP computer that uses Windows 7 (64-bit), because Idrivers there is apparently no... even if the documentation says drivers are not necessary... ie. already in Windows 7.

Is it true that the drivers are not available and I have to buy another all-in-one printer?

When I bought the computer, I specifically asked the lady who helped me online if I could use the HP PSC 500.   She looked at him and replied Yes.

In fact, I have temporarily installed HP PSC 950 pilots and the printer printed fine.  But he keeps trying to install the drivers for the HP PSC 500 whenever it starts so that didn't work.

So, I know that HP USES drivers.

I think that I was taken advantage of.

    You have a solution?

    Hi EdThompson,

Yes, the PSC 500 driver is already in the Windows 7 operating system. Follow the steps below to install the driver.

    1. open devices and printers

    2. click on add a printer

    3. change the port to USB port, and then click Next

    4. click the button of Windows Update (step 1)

    5. once the update is complete, you will need to select HP in the left side of the screen and then scroll up to 500 driver PSC. When you have selected it, click ok. (Step 2)

6 follow the instructions on the screen to complete the installation of this printer.

I have a HP psc 950 all-in-one.   He is about 14 years old and working perfectly until what I was unable to buy cartridges black n ° 15. They are available in the United States, but not export.  Why did HP Australia list as "out of stock" on their web site when it only takes 3 days to get goods from the United States?  Is this a case of planned obsolescence?   If so my next hardware is certainly not a HP.
