  Hi all

  I am having some problems of data collection with a VI that I put together using LabVIEW 2010 and DAQmx 9.5. My DAQ hardware is an SMU-6341 in a chassis SMU-1071. I have a single VI which runs through all the tasks and controls that are channels in each task. Channels are then moved into a knot of channel property to check the type of channel. It allows me to adjust program which DAQmx read that I use to read data from the buffer.

  I get error code-200428 stating that the task I'm passing in the channel property node is not valid. It then gives me the CHANNEL name that the task is not valid. Am I assuming I can switch from channel at the entrance to a property DAQmx node reference? I know that the task and the channel of the task are configured correctly because I can see the voltage on the digital output terminal.

  Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

  Types of channel properties are weird.

  You must connect the task in the upper left entry of the channel property node, not the channel.

  Then choose the 'Active channel' property and add another property to the node which is chanType.  Son of your channel in the first and get the chantype of the second property.

  Strange advice, given that Channel 4 is strongly overlapped by other channels, and the ISP has no idea how all other routers are signals of broadcasting around you and what are the channels that they could use.  Thus, one who told you to take a wild guess.

  There are only 3 channels incompatible, so the best choices to choose are channel 1, 6 and 11.  Channel 1 is usually the busiest, then 6, 11 would be a good choice to try.

  But you can't mess with it at all unless you really want to.  When you put the AirPort Extreme, it will automatically scan all available channels and choose the best channel to use. Most users will get much better results with much less effort by using this method.

  If you really want to guess to which channel to use...

  Open the AirPort on your Mac utility (Finder > Applications > utilities > AirPort Utility)

  Click on the image of the AirPort Extreme

  Click on edit in the window that appears

  Click on the Wireless tab at the top of the next window

  Click on the Options button wireless

  Change the channel setting 2.4 GHz from automatic to the channel you want to guess

  Click Save

  Click on update and allow a minute for the AirPort Extreme restart

  I have an older Airport - extreme, I think, and the utility does not support.  I'm out of luck to change channel?  Time Warner said their modem did not support my newest Airport (? it's TWC) and now the internet keeps smoking at least once or twice a day.

  I suggest that you keep it simple.

  Your airport automatically analyze and choose the best channel to use when it lights up. So, if you have not done for some time, powering to the airport, wait a few seconds and then put it to the top.

  Even if you could change the channel... How would you know which channel to choose?

  Time Warner will only support for a product they have received for you.  But this does not mean that a router from Apple will not work with their service. I've used Apple products for over 10 years with Time Warner.

  What do you mean by 'you don't see the kind of program? When you change the channel you see the program number, name and time, after pressing 'Info' you see 'Now' and 'Next' EPG information in the lower band. What is the problem with this concept from your point of view?

  I am looking to change the wifi channel but I don't see any possibility to do. When I'm in my range extender (WLAN-> Setup) Setup, the button for Wifi-channel(2,4GHz) is grey so I can't change the channel. In 5 GHz Mode I can edit, but why not in 2, 4 GHz mode?

  I have downloaded the application called Wifi analytical, inside this app I can see, what channels are overloaded and that are not used as mch. But also there I can't change everything about the channel.

  Well, another little question: why I can't see 5 GHz Wifi, when searching through existing Wifi? Do I have to have a special Wifi adapter in computers? I tested windows and mac Machines. Only Mac shows the high-performance-Wifi... PC can not show 5 GHz. (Yes, I have turned off as I wrote the last post, but I just tested now, and it seems that there is no possible connection 5 GHz?)

  Following the advice of several other positions, I try to choose several physical channels in the drop-down list so that I can then use the function "unflatten channel channel" later. It seems that if I hold this key is pressed or cntrl, I should be able to select multiple channels in the list, however, this does not work for me.   If I understand correctly, I think that you need to do is use a task property DAQmx. Try to use the channels property to get an array of strings.

  I recently changed my dish satellite Direct who changed the channel to 3 4.  My Media Center on my desk, I cannot change just the channel without going through the entire installation, which also requires a configuration for "Câble IR" which, for some reason, it does not.  Therefore, the only option I have given is 'back' or 'Cancel '.  'Back' has no effect except to find the IR cable, in vain.  'Cancel' I shot with no changes!  I'm stuck.  All I want to do is change the channel to receive the TV signal.  Help, please.

  Well, I tried to find the latest driver for my card, I could find anything to the atheros website (what gives?).

  Win 7 told me I got the latest driver, but I wouldn't trust windows update, as they said that my ethernet card was up-to-date (see 7.04) and when I went on the Realtek site, driver to v.7.23...

  Anywho! I was not able to change the channel for the ad - hoc connection. I tried the connection with a PC and still cannot connect (so not a problem related to Mac).
