2012 shuffle headphones

I can't find many cheap helmets for the 4th generation iPod shuffle on apple store, but I have found some great ones on eBay for the 2012 version.

I would like to ask, if I get a helmet for the gen version 2012 4th can I use it for the 4th gen 2015, and have it work well?

If not, where can I get some headsets 2012 for a ridiculous price.

I think that I mentioned in your other similar topics, you can use ANY standard headphones with a shuffle gen 4.

  • Help of MacBook Pro 2012 JBL headphones

Hello. I just got the JBL 300 Everest helmet for my birthday a few weeks ago. I've tried everything. There is no update program to get this thing to work with my computer Mid MacBook Pro 2012. The computer is one year in July 2016. 2015 purchased. Anyway, the strange thing is, works automatic JBL with the Ipad Mini 1st gen 2012. I don't know why it will not work with the Mac (laptop)? I spent tons of money on it and do not use the headset!  The bluetooth features are still available, but the connection does not work between JBL through Macbook Pro!  Please help me as soon as possible!

    Thank you! Jilly

Try to forget the JPB on your iPod and turn off the Bluetooth on the iPad. . It is likely that it is trying to trick on your iPod, not your Mac.

Also make sure that no other Bluetooth device is within reach.

  • All new iPod shuffle does not connect to the Macbook.

I just bought an iPod shuffle 4th generation. The end of the USB cable provided that plugs into the iPod seems loose, and it does not connect to my Mac. The iPod is defective or have I missed something?

If it "seems loose," make sure you have inserted the USB docking plug cable in shuffle headphone plug, as shown in this document

  • Play, stop after 15 seconds on iPod Shuffle

My wife I recently purchased an iPod Shuffle and headphones Skullcandy method for Christmas. The plan was to use for the race (Skullcandy are more comfortable than most of the Earbud Headphones, Apple included).

Unfortunately, when I try to play music after about 15 seconds of reading the track abruptly fades, and then stops. If I press play again, the track will start again then wither and stop after 15 seconds... and so on! The battery is fully charged. The period of time until the music stops seems very accurate, so I don't think it's a bad connection.

I've not had much luck trying to find the question - this request doesn't seem to be that common. States of FAQ of SKULLCANDY headphones are compatible with my iPod model: http://www.skullcandy.eu/customer-service/faq/faq.html

I tried without success to the following:

    • Restore the iPod
    • Using disk utility to analyze and repair the iPod
    • Let it take over completely (just in case where iTunes has been somehow misreading of the amount of charge on the iPod)

I tried with another too - Apple and some AKG - helmet which seems to fix the problem. BUT the Apple headphones are useless for the race and my AKGs are reserved for the studio. I want to use the Skullcandy headphones! It is a 3.5 mm jack, it should work!

    So, my questions are:

    1. All the world had or heard about this problem (with Skullcandy or any other headphones)?
    2. There is a known compatibility issue? (I don't like about the features of the control of the headphone button works with the iPod - I want just works fine).
    3. Anyone have any suggestions to solve this problem or a work-around, before buying a new helmet?

    Thank you

    iPod Shuffle (2 GB) 4th Gen 1.0.3

iMac (27 inch, end 2013) race El Capitan 10.11.2

    SKULLCANDY method (S2CDGY-405)

If it works correctly with other headphones, the cause must be the Skullcandy headphones.  It is defective, or design is not compatible in some way.  It seems that these headphones have controls on the cord.  There may be a short circuit that is causing a faulty signal playback.

"15 seconds" is maybe the shuffle 'expire' because it does not recognize the headset is connected.  The adjustment can be different between helmet, in order to ensure that the plug is fully inserted into shuffle headphones Jack.  It is tighter than expected when shuffle is brand new.

You have another device, like an iPhone, try with the Skullcandy?  Or you can also try with your iMac.  Your iMac can use the power cord remote control signals, as well to launch iTunes and play a song to see if anything unusual occurs.

  • iPod shuffle not no projection in iTunes

IM unable to see my new property offices industrial shuffle in iTunes. He can easily see my iPhone, but not my iPod Shuffle. Any suggestions? Thank you.

Make sure that the host USB cable connector is completely inserted into the jack of the shuffle headphones, as shown in this document

    https://support.Apple.com/en-us/HT203407

The collar may be tighter than expected, especially when it's new.

If this isn't the problem, the little light on the shuffle does nothing when you connect?  If this is the case, describe what he does connect immediately after (color, blinking, solid...).

  • My Ipod Shuffle is possessed

I have an Ipod Shuffle 4. The voiceover button stop working. Now it cuts just the song a bit, but it is not a voice-over. I tried to uncheck voiceover, then recheck and I restored my ipod twice, but it still does not work properly. I even tried to change the language of the voice change then back to English. No luck.

The quality of the music seems worse, too. Not exactly, jumping more than the song is a little off track.

In addition, the command dial on the front does not work correctly. Sometimes it will go to the next song, but sometimes, nothing happens when I push forward or backward.

I bought this Ipod on ebay, so I don't know how old it is, but it worked fine for a year.

    Any suggestions?

The shuffle headphone jack accepts headphones remote control signals that have controls on the cord.  In which case she receives erroneous signals from defective helmet (which can cause the issue of sound quality AND with the controls of the iPod), try another set of headphones (of preference with any button of the remote control on the cord) as a test to see if the problem goes away.

Additionally, make sure that the headphone plug is COMPLETELY pressed into the headphones Jack.

  • Headphone iPod Shuffle & charging

I know that the headphones are available but are at - it compatible with earphones/headphones?

    Also, how the charges work?

    Hi there 101titan101,

Looks like you have some questions about the iPod shuffle and headphones compatible for it. You should be able to find a compatible game helmet:

    http://www.Apple.com/us/search/headphones?src=globalnav

Some have distance built in as doing the EarPods, and some don't be so sure to check whether or not they do if this is a feature you're looking for. Keep in mind also that link is the US store, so if you're not in her WE then you will have to search for "headphones" in your Apple Store country online. Simply go to http://Store.Apple.com/fr , you should get to your country store.

As for your second question, I don't know exactly what you're asking. Can you elaborate a little bit with some more information about what you ask the subject?

Thank you for using communities of support from Apple!

  • iPod Shuffle (4th generation 2012) bad songs deleted

Recently, my father gave me his iPod Shuffle, and I wanted to change a part of the music on it. I connected the connected device to iTunes, has given the permissions of my laptop, and well as the device and his music appears, I cannot change anything and can not find the file on my computer. I've seen other issues similar to this and tried their responses, but so far nothing has worked. Any advice?

    Hey Copperdog555,

Looks like you are having problems with your iPod shuffle syncing newly received with your iTunes library. Please make sure that you are running the latest version of iTunes by checking the updates in your App store. If you don't have any music in your iTunes library, try to add the music to the library first, and then try to sync with the iPod shuffle. Once the synchronization was successful, it will erase all songs currently on the device and replace it with what you have added to the iTunes library. The links below will help you get this done.

Get the latest version of iTunes

Search and organize your iTunes media files

    iPod shuffle support

Sync your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch with iTunes on your computer through a USB port

Please use the Apple Support communities for help. The above steps will have you listen to your favorite songs in no time at all!

    Have a great day.

  • Why are some of the songs on my Shuffle not play then that I connect it by usb to my radio Harley 2014?  The songs are all play with headphones.

I have about 200 songs on my Shuffle.  When I connect it to my Harley Infortainment system via the usb port, the system only "reads" about 150 of the 200 and will not play the rest.  I completely wipe clean on the Shuffle.  List of new song created around 150 songs.  When I re-connected to the Harley system, the system of 'reading' 109 150.  Still, he would not play the other.

If there is a guide to the user for the system of Harley (physical or online), you should look at the supported audio file formats.  It can only support MP3.  Maybe the songs that work are MP3 and those who do not are AAC (and other formats).  Or, it may be related to DRM (copy protection), IF you have a lot of very old iTunes Store, purchases of the song in your iTunes library, the early years when songs sold through the iTunes Store have been required to have DRM.  These songs will not play on most non-Apple devices.

    Delphine;

    (1) for instances autonomous, will be the following parameter to the listener.ora file and listener rebooting resolves this vulnerability? Or is there something else we can do? We want to avoid patches now and see if we can resolve this issue quickly.

    DYNAMIC_REGISTRATION_LISTENER = off

A: no, you need to add another parameter: ((ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = IPC) (KEY = REGISTER)))

    Example:

    LISTENER =
      (DESCRIPTION_LIST =
        (DESCRIPTION =
          (ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = TCP)(HOST = your hostname)(PORT = 1521))
          (ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = IPC)(KEY = REGISTER))
          (ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = IPC)(KEY = EXTPROC1521))
        )
      )

    For each database

    ALTER system set local_listener = '(DESCRIPTION = (ADDRESS =(PROTOCOL=IPC) (KEY = REGISTER)))' scope = both;

    Stop and start the receiver

    Read the notes 1453883.1

    Oracle 9 - no idea

    (2) If us do not "remote_listener" configure, is applicable for us?

A: Yes, you should always set your listener.ora

    (3) for instances of the FCAC, I follow the steps mentioned in

    A: Yes.

  • iPod Shuffle 4 GEN on 10 to win with the latest version of iTunes

So I have an iPod Shuffle (3 of them to be exact) and the latest version of iTunes for Windows 10 and when I Plug one in, an orange light starts flashing on the iPod itself. My question is:

IPod shuffle gen working 4 or synchronize with iTunes on Windows 10?

If so, please tell me why he's stuck on the restoration.

If not, tell me if it's FREE to get a new one. (Note: these things are of 2012-2013)

    Thank you very much!

  • iPhone6 music App Shuffle - can't turn off

music iPhone 6s app (not sure how to know which version) a 'Shuffle' constantly.  Hit the icon simply moves to another song of out-of-sequence.  Frustrating!  How to disable it?  Other similar discussions do not seem to apply to my problem.  that is "turn off the Shuffle when"Now Playing"page appears." I never see a "Now Playing" screen / page...

I hope that this bug is corrected soon - book Audio headphones would become crazy!

When you play a song, press the Play / Pause line where is the name of the song and album. There you have the "Now Playing" and the shuffle icon. On that, and you should be good to go.

  • IPod Shuffle Gen 2 will not load.

I pod shuffle 2 generation does not load. Light does not illuminate. May be time for a new or repaired.

You use the USB cable supplied with the shuffle.  For a 2nd gen shuffle, this cable is long with a cradle for the shuffle.  A cable for 3rd/4th gen shuffle does not work with 2nd gen shuffle (connector is different).

If you use the right cable, but the random reading light lights at all, the cable may be defective.  There is cable of third party replacements.  If you want to try another cable, make sure it is described as being 2nd generation Shuffle (not 3rd/4th generation).  For example, some are not actually cables

    http://www.Amazon.com/adapter-Apple-iPod-shuffle-generation/DP/B000QHOB4S

It is also possible that the shuffle is defective.  I think that the shuffle would always turn on when connected to power, if the problem is with the battery.  So it is something else, like a worn or damaged headphone jack.  Or bad logic board.

Whatever you do, don't forget that a 4th gen new shuffle with a new helmet, docking cable, and the guarantee of one year is $ 49 retail.

  • Hai, my ipod shuffle when it is connected with the computer, it flashes organge light.  If I don't take no light

Hai, my ipod shuffle when it is connected with the computer, it flashes orange light.  If I remove without light and music.  Even I kept connected all day with my laptop for charging.  But without success.  Is it possible to change the battery?

If the shuffle still appears in iTunes when you connect, you can try to do a restore using iTunes, where the cause is a software problem.

Use iTunes on your Mac or PC to restore your iPhone, iPad or iPod settings - Apple Support

If the problem reoccurs after the restoration, it's probably a battery worn.  Need soldering skills to replace yourself, and iPod shuffle (with the exception of the 1st generation) is very small.  Not easy to work on.  This web site has repair guides

    https://www.iFixit.com/device/iPod_Shuffle

and parts are available from sources like eBay.

Apple 'serve' the shuffle, if it's the 4th gen (current type).  Rather than change the battery of your device, you get a replacement unit.  According to this document, out-of-warranty fees are $39

Pricing of the Service - The Apple iPod Support

NOTE: If your shuffle is less than one year of the date of purchase, it is under warranty.

The retail price of a brand new 4th gen iPod shuffle, with new headphones, docking cable and warranty of one year is $ 49.
