• Photoshop CC 2015 freezes after you open a photo for editing...

  I have a Dell PC and Windows 10 running.  CC2015 worked fine until today.

  When I launch Photoshop and import a picture the program hangs and I have to Cntr + Alt + Delete to quit the program.

  so I can't use Photoshop at all at this stage.

  • Now, click on edit - preferences - Performance and uncheck CPU chart use
  • Restart PS and check again
  • Try to delete the preferences file
    • To restore preferences quickly by using a keyboard shortcut: press and hold Alt + Ctrl + Shift as you start Photoshop. You are prompted to delete the current settings.

  I'm new in ThinApp environment, I hope someone can help me with a headache ThinApping Lotus Notes 9.0, here is my scenario:

  ThinApping App: Lotus Notes 9.0

  Capture Machine: Windows 7 x 64 on VMware Workstation 10.0.2

  Test computer: Windows 7 x 64 on VMware Workstation 10.0.2

  After the construction project and to test the application of thinapped it works fine until that opening any PDF file attached that brings the freezing point of Lotus Notes 9.0 and adobe reader (XI) two apps answer before killing adobe reader process "AcroRd32.exe".

  I tried to capture app in WriteCopy and mode of fusion, capture whitin outside domain machine, machine of capture with the local administrator account, capture and machine with the domain administrator account, but in all cases the result is the same, does anyone know what I am doing wrong?

  I thought that Lotus would have extracted the pdf attachment in the file folder before opening it, but it doesn't seem to be the case. Lines above are running in native mode, not Adobe Reader process virtually so its process is not able to access the content in the virtual bubble (this is why you have this error message with Adobe Reader).

  Try the following:

  -Remove the tray sand

  -Remove these lines from the package.ini:

  ChildProcessEnvironmentExceptions = AcroRd32.exe

  ChildProcessEnvironmentDefault = virtual

  - Recompile the application (file build.bat)

  -Open Adobe Reader

  - Go in Edition > Preferences > Security (enhanced)

  -Uncheck "Activate the Mode protected at startup"

  -Click OK

  -Close Adobe Reader

  -Try to open a PDF with Lotus notes attachment again!

• For these last days, Firefox was freezing after I open it without even reaching the homepage - grateful for any light you can throw on this!

  I don't seem to be able to put a screenshot in this post but the screen is basically more often black. I tried to uninstall and reinstall Firefox, to no avail. He suddenly began to do last week. Is there something I can do to put it right? I'm running a 64-bit Dell laptop if that's any help?

  Is working in normal mode with hardware acceleration disabled?

  If it works in Mode safe mode and normal mode with all extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) off and then try to find which extension is the cause by allowing an extension at a time until the problem reappears.

  Close and restart Firefox after each change via "Firefox > Exit ' (Windows: Firefox/file > quit;) Mac: Firefox > quit Firefox. Linux: Firefox/file > exit)

• Windows Live Messenger 2009 (Build 14.0.8117.416) keeps freezing after connecting / opening a conversation

  It's really annoying, and it just started today. The problem is on my laptop running Vista SP2, and as the title suggests, the program freezes and also devours all of my CPU usage, once I closed the program through Task Manager, that everything returns to normal. If I try to restart WLM it freezes just once again, just like before.

  Any help or ideas on how to solve this problem would be great.

• InDesign CC 2015 hangs when one) place another InDesign file or b) opening a document that already contains the link to another InDesign file.

  Recently upgraded to CC 2015 CS6, have the latest versions of OS X and CC.

  When opening documents CS6 with links to other documents, .indd, after a short time (while updating the links I think) InDesign crashes.

  Have you tried

  (a) open related files and save it again as a document CC

  (b) copying items in a new document

  but when I try to place the document in another document new and empty, crash.

  After a bit of experimentation, I discovered that the problem was a logo in eps format that appeared in the documents. Re-recorded as .ai, fixed to a problem.

• InDesign CC2014 Freeze when opening documents

  This question is makes us crazy :-(    For the last month, CC InDesign keeps freezing and/or crashing when you try to open documents .indd.  We have written Adobe on the issue, but receive no response.

  The problem is intermittent - sometimes it opens just fine, other times it is hesitant / slow down,- but half of the time the application freeze just up and we need to force quit.

  When restart us InDesign after forcing the application to quit, the app opens all documents, including those causing the freezing.

  We´re Yosemite 10.10.3 on retina 5 K iMac with 32 GB of RAM running.

  Hmmmm... Well, the path does not lead to the Holly Grail as it appears here. I'm looking in the folder hidden in the library, in preferences, but I don't know which file to delete... have now removed a file of preferences for v10.

  I´ll report back, as soon as I don't know if the problem is resolved. Fingers crossed!

  The synchronization preferences option is no longer available in the last update CC2015.1.2

  and the option "Open Documents as tabs" is under preferences > Workspace.

  My InDesign CS6 does not open after expiration of CC 15 day trial. The only option is to subscribe to the CC. I don't want to subscribe, I want to use my copy of the CS6. I uninstalled and reinstalled ~ no still no chance.  Anyone know how to open it?

  If you have installed cs6 install the subscription, it will capture your license CS6. Common sense would have been to disable CS6 before install CC as CS6 contains its own (and better kind) CS6 software with more upgrades and possibilities than the old version in a box.

  If you can not install CS6 with your own serial number for this reason, you will need to contact Adobe to reset the activations.

  Thank you Nancy O. This proposal has helped me. Dreamweaver is unresponsive to the launch. Not sure what happened because it was working fine last week. Restore preferences enabled him to proceed as usual.
