27n190st Pavilion: Pavilion all-in-one with SSD option?

Hello:

27 all-in-one is expandable to a 500 GB solid State Drive? I know it's not expandable customizable Web site, but if I buy it can I update? I want to just make sure there is room and no other potential problems with an upgrade.

Thank you.

Hi old_geekster:

I've owned a touch in the past. I work with pictures and as power to swipe from one photo to another. It is much easier to use a mouse. I love being able to pinch also enlarge the photos and text.  This makes a lot of sense.  I didn't want to be curious, just any other interested is the motivation for the purchase of a certain model of computer.  I agree.  I have a laptop HP game Omen.  It has a touch screen, a trackpad.  I use a mouse without a wire with her, too.  It is perfect for viewing photos and anything else.

It is interesting that envy all in a series allows an upgrade to an SSD. Is there a difference with this series first to those vs the Pavilion?  I don't know why this is, except HP emits different models for all price ranges.

If it is not expandable, I guess that I would buy a pc because I really like the idea of an SSD. A technician at HP would know?  This is your best option.  I would contact the Service HP customer for using the upgrade information before buy you.  This will ensure I hope you don't buy something that you don't like.

Thank you

    Hi there @Everyman99,

Welcome to the Forums of HP Support! It's a good place to find the help you need, other users, the HP experts and other members of the support staff. I understand that your system is not reading any CD/DVD that you have tried. I'm happy to help you with this.

You are able to read any disks at all? Is it auto burned discs, or store bought music or software disks or all of them that you are having problems with?

  • Maximum RAM to HP Pavilion all-in-One MS228sc

Given that my HP Pavilion all-in-One MS228sc is more slow - even after the release of space on the hard drive that I do research on the possibility of an upgrade of RAM.

The ins Pavilion "born" with 2 GB of RAM in the slots and 2 GB virtual RAM.

My question if I can substitute one or both blocks with block of 2 GB RAM. In this way, I'll have 3 or 4 physical RAM instead of 2.

I guess that will increase the performance of many things

  • my hp Pavilion all in one 23-g218 can be connected to a TV

my hp Pavilion all in one 23-g218 can be connected to a TV

Not with the hardware you have but you do not have 2 x usb 3.0 ports and there is such a thing as a usb 3.0 HDMI adapter:

    http://www.Amazon.com/Ideashop%C2%AE-quality-adapter-converter-laptop/DP/B010S09TPI/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8 & qid = 1448745297 & SR = 8-3 & Keywords = USB + 3 + to + HDMI

It will not sound, but you can connect an audio cable, too. Also don't forget something like a Chromecast that will take what's on the computer screen to the TV via a wireless connection with any kind of video card. I think Amazon is something similar.

  • 23 - g011 HP Pavilion all-in-One: can I upgrade the processor?

    Hello world!

I'm at an impasse earlier and had to get a fast PC. What I ended up getting was 23-g011 HP Pavilion all-in-One. When I got it, I thought it was OK, but as I started working I realized its limitations. I guess that there's a 1.3 ghz processor, which seems to be the only real issue with it, I would say.

My question is, can I upgrade the processor?

I heard different things. Some say yes, others say no.

I really don't know much about this stuff, but I hope someone can help me here.

    Thank you!

I'm sorry, but apparently the proccessor is soldered to the motherboard of the computer, so you cannot update. All-in-one computers are not designed to be upgraded (I have a Pavilion b010 20 with a proccessor 1.48 GHz) and I would really have a problem with the "no upgrade" thing if the proccessors was not so terrible! I feel you, I do a lot of game and I have for them to run as 5 fps. So to sum it all, you can't update.

  • new hard drive for HP Pavilion all-in - One MS228sc

I need to get af new hard drive to my HP Pavilion all-in-One MS228sc I have a lot of trouble to get in touch with HP Denmark since my product is out of warranty.

My question is if the PC can handle a larger than my current on the 500 GB drive. Even more I'm not sure about other possible limits, the PC may have ini concerning speed and other parameters on a new hard drive

Since your computer is no longer under warranty, please buy a SATA2 500 GB - 2 TB 3.5 "or 3 hard drive at a local retailer or online. If the new drive is a drive AF (Advanced Format), you can have problems using the HP recovery media created you or purchased.

If this is the case, and you can still read the Windows product key of 25 characters on the COA affixed Microsoft on your computer, you can install Windows 7 using this key. Please see "how to install Windows 7 without the disc" to get instructions on how to download Windows 7, create the installation media and install Windows 7 using the product key 25 character of the COA Microsoft on your computer. This method will not install HP customizations or value-added software and you will have to manually install all necessary drivers.

Windows 7 SP1 can be found HERE and HERE. (Download the Windows 7)

Direct link to Windows 7 USB/DVD Download tool. (Use to create ISO support)

  • My HP Pavilion all-in-One often stops in PC games.

My HP Pavilion all-in-One is just over a year. It stops more frequently with games like Age of Empires and Age of Titans PC and online game wizards 101. Can someone tell me why and what I can do about it? The games were not the original disks and I don't know if that has anything to do with it. Thank you

    Linda, welcome to the forum.

This looks like a problem of heat for me.  Most laptops and all-in-one are frankly not intended for games.  Also, you can try to install patches that are available for the games.  This could be part of the problem, otherwise the heat.

Please let us know if this solved your problem or not.

  • Pavilion all-in-one 23: Add the second monitor to HP Pavilion CTO all-in-One-23-p110z

As it is configured, the factory is the "HP Pavilion all-in-one-23-p110z CTO" capable of supporting a second monitor?  I see NO obvious "video inputs" ports.

    Thank you!

    Hi @beckinista,

Thank you for being an active member of the HP's Support Forums.   I understand that you would like to know if you can connect a second computer monitor 23-p110z all-in-One CTO Pavilion.

The specifications of the motherboard of your computer show that there not a secondary display port. I have included HP Pavilion 23 - p110z all-in-one CTO Office product specifications and configurable Options and HP and Compaq Desktop PCs - specifications of the motherboard, Boa for your reference.

    I hope the above helps.

  • 23 Pavilion all in one pc: drivers

Is there anywhere I can get the drivers for SM Bus controller and USB controller for a 23 Pavilion all in one pc. Model 23-g017c. HP site lists a USB driver but it will not work. Any help is appreciated.

    HP Pavilion all-in-one touchscreen, 23-f391la

I had installed 8.0 factory victory. I put in my drive w 8.1 8.0 has been active and you have questions if you want to upgrade and keep your personal files. I answered Yes.

I thought that any additional programs of HP, like Norton antivirus, Microsogt 365 offers etc., should be maintained, but they were not.

Is this normal. In order to have them kept how I did?

OK thx, what above said that the factory installed additional programs always disappear when you migrate to a newer level of windows?

  • 23 envy d027c All In One with the card mother Lavaca3-SB IPISB - NK. How to upgrade the video card?

I have a HP Envy 23 d027c All In One with the card mother Lavaca3-SB (pegatron) IPISB-NK.  It has a PCI slot available for upgrade of the video.  I want to do this.  I intend to use the pc for video processing and maybe a few games.

    How to pass the video?

What cards are best for this system?

What has changed in the BIOS or other settings I should do?  How can I get them?

    Thank you

    Art

The PCIe MXM slot is for HP install graphics cards in some models CTO (configure-to-order). Without the card installed when you purchased the computer, there the fan and radiator bad sets. You will need to buy a graphics card and the heatsink / fan of HP to try to upgrade the GPU in your computer. There is an extensive disassembly involved in this procedure. All-in-One computers have much more in common with laptops than they do with traditional desktop computers.

Honestly, if you want to do video processing and games... you should get a traditional desktop with enough CPU and GPU for these activities.

  • Photosmart C7280 all-in-One with HP Premium Plus Photo A4 Semi Gloss paper

For the past two years, I have been using the Photosmart C7280 all-in-one, with Premium Plus Satin A4 Matte Photo paper and have gotten excellent printing results.

Now that this article is no longer available I just bought some suggested alternative, which is Premium Plus Semi Gloss; but I am surprised and very disappointed by lower printing results.

Compared to the Matt satin results, they are very much less clear and the colors appear pale and lower.

Has anyone had similar experiences and, if so, found a solution?

    Hello graham_jester

It is up to you. In general, the solution is marked when a particular post has solved your problem or an appropriate workaround solution. In any event, I appreciate the gesture.
