I use Vista 32 bit Business. This problem has been resolved in early February, returns once again this month. I did the forum and all the support staff said that already helped me with the same problem with the following suggestions. However, I can't not do on-site upgrade because it is an OEM Vista without any Windows CD. I tried also came with the laptop recovery disks and which did not have what he needed to do below. Please kindly help.

According to the results of troubleshooting, I think that the problem can be caused by some system files corrupted and I recommed run the system update tool and rename the folder tmporary to solve the problem.

System resources, such as file of data, even in the data memory and registry data, can develop inconsistencies during the lifecycle of the operating system. These inconsistencies can be caused by various hardware failures or software problems. In some cases, these inconsistencies can affect the Windows Service store, and they can cause software updates not do not work. The system update tool attempts to resolve these inconsistencies. When System Update Readiness Tool detects obvious incorrect files or the registry data, it can replace the incorrect data with a corrected version.

1. download the system preparation tool update from the link below depending on the Type of system:

Update for Windows Vista 32-bit system tool

After that, please try to rerun the update of Windows.

If the problem persists, it indicates that the corrupted system files cannot be repaired by the system update tool. At this point, I suggest using the tool (SFC.exe) System File Checker to solve the problem:

1. Click Start, click principally made programs, accessories, right-click Guest, and then click Run as administrator.

2. type the following command and press ENTER:

sfc/scannow

However, it is recommended that you first back up your important information and files of other partitions or other disks. Then, please do the following:

Turn off Windows features before you perform an upgrade in place

1. click on start, then click Control Panel.

2. click Classic view in the left pane and then double-click programs and features.

3 click on the pane "Turn Windows features on the left on or off.

4. in the Windows features dialog box, uncheck all the check boxes and then click OK.

If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

Now perform the following steps to repair corrupted files:

On-site upgrade

1. Insert the Windows Vista DVD in the DVD drive of the computer.

2. Click Start and select computer.

3. If please find the "setup.exe" file in the DVD-ROM and double-click it.

4. click on install now.

5. when we are invited to enter the product key, please click Next without entering any key. The installation wizard will prompt and ask if you agree to install Windows Vista without the key. Please choose confirm.

6. When you get to the screen ' which type of installation you want', click upgrade to upgrade the Windows Vista system files.

Note: All performing the upgrade in place, the system will reboot automatically (several times) to merge the files and programs. Please leave the computer alone and do not set up until the upgrade on the spot. The system should start Windows Vista once it is upgraded.

I need help, I get the same error everytime I have to search for updates (Code: 8024402C), it happened after I did a format for my laptop (Windows vista Ultimate Edition), everything was working well until I did the format, and I did the format as I do every time...

Cannot install SP2 because of Win update, error 8024402C

Can someone please?

Just a new player 160hard had put in my laptop Toshiba, place the recovery disc, all works well tried to connect to internet (wireless) would not work. We called AOL tells me that I need to get service pack 2.

Tried to update windows telling me error 8024402 c. I know only a little about computers and any advice would be helpful and right AOL saying I need service pack 2. Wi - Fi was working fine before I put the new hard drive and recovery disk in.

Windows Vista Home Premium SP1 NEVER been able update error 8024402C

I have problems with the update. I've never been able to update Windows since I bought this computer in September 2009.
I have Vista Home Premium SP1
I have CA Security Center
I've also tried the auto detects in the LAN configuration but still does not. Also turned and on the update command in the command prompt.
Does anyone else have an idea? It is slowly driving me crazy and I should have settled this long time.

Windows Update error 8024402C

I wonder if anyone else has problems installing a security update (KB3143693) and receive 641 errors and/or 8024402 c. I ran all convenience stores to know but without any results to correct the problem. 10 other updates went well, but it fails to install. I am running windows 7 x 64, with browser chrome and IE 11. Any help would be appreciated for any old man.

Hi everyone, I recently joined in a Banking Corporation as a leader of IT below support that I explained about an error that is impossible to fix.

This company is running windows server 2008 r2 standard 64 bit OS sp1.

HP proliant DL380 G7 intel xeon
system processor: intel xeon E5620

This company is facing this problem since April 2014 to cultivate the date, but the question not yet fixed because there is no COMPUTER administrator in this endeavour to maintain this server. So, in this company, I'm the only guy with COMPUTER knowledge and my management was waiting for me to fix this error and to run the server without any problem.

The last few months I've corrected several server issues related in this society as windows update, windows daily backup, SQL server backup, user permissions, disk space low and network troubleshooting and equipment computer issues etc...,

But come to this lsass.exe I am unable to solve this problem I tried many ways to research online, but not yet fixed. Below you will find the details.

*) fix for windows server 2008 R2 Standard sp1

This service pack does not apply to the version of windows running on this computer.

It is the only question that is impossible to fix. So, I need expert help to resolve this issue as soon as POSSIBLE.

Note: I can not reinstall the operating system on this server because it runs many applications on the SQL 2008 database and also it is already configured with many services and I don't really know how many applications do I need to take a backup and how to configure manually. so if I reinstall OS and if I'm bored configurations or settings and then it will be difficult for employees who work on these applications. So I don't want to take the risk of doing as I said I am new to this company.

Additional information: this sever when ever it will pop up as server will restart in one minute then it restarts to 3 times without any gap, then after an interval extended from 3 to 4 hours, then it will follow even as I said above. To understand better, I'll give you this good example: If the server restart to 09:00, then 2nd reboot will be at 09:02 and the 3rd reboot will be at 09:04 and then after 3 to 4 hours apart, as about 13:00 it restarts again for 3 times vice versa.

Even I understand that I have to reinstall the OS to fix this stupid problem which is like a nightmare for me, but right now, I can't. So, please help me to solve this problem without reinstallation of server operating system.

I expect the best answer to my question that will solve my problem without any problem to this server.
