• Need help with USB 3.0 on desktop Pavilion 500-214

  I am currently the owner of desktop HP Pavilion 500-214.

  I noticed that the USB 3.0 ports do not seem to work.  Tried with 2 different brands of USB cables now.

  I connect my Samsung S5 with USB 3.0 desktop.  It connects to the 3.0 for a few seconds and then gives the message "cannot connect USB 3.0 devices.

  Does anyone else have this problem?  If so, how to fix?  Or the troubleshooting steps that you might suggest?

• Week ago when ive never tried to copy the cd on his itunes is very static thought it was itunes but even did the same on media player cant establish it was working very well and not now

  first incounted this week to combat problem so cant there and always the sound of the cd is so static you can't even hear the song thought it was itunes top reading but it does the same thing on media player

  Because WMP is also affected, I'd say it's a hardware problem. Start by disconnecting all the microphones, speakers, actually any device off-board you have. Then run a Cd or RIP something.
  If the sound is better, connect the devices one by one until you guilty findnthe.

  See if it works...

  Go to Device Manager and click to expand the category of audio, video and game controllers device.

  1. click on the Audio CODEC of IDT high definition in Device Manager.

  2. click on the driver tab.

  3. click on Update Driver...

  4-> select Browse my computer for driver software.

  5. Select-> Let pick me from a list of drivers for devices on my computer.

  6. Select Audio device high definition (not IDT high def...)  "This is important). and click Next.

  Warning message is displayed, but the answer Yes.

  7. Windows has updated the driver software.

  8 restart the PC

  If so, I suggest you not to install what the gtx960 is more than an inch longer than your motherboard... theoretically it would work Yes, but if you use it could lead to problems with circulation of air and cause times high in your components... your mobo is a 9.6 * 9.6 (just so you know)... it would fit in your case , but not in your mobo, is what im trying to say...

  If you have already purchased, then you can use it, record the temperature of your cpu and gpu... If they are within the limits, then it is fine...

  and Yes all this passage is possible... you need a motherboard with the same socket that you currently have (FM 2 +), the same ram slot (ddr3)... and try a larger form factor...   What two monitors are no longer compatible with this specific desktop computer? Its configuration is out-of-the-box (no change internally have been made). I have currently 2 monitors VGA Acer put in place, but the second monitor goes black every few minutes for 3-4 seconds and then turns back on. I ck had for monitors, energy saving settings.   If you reload XP if often as you notice a minor problem like that, then you really need to focus on why you need to reload XP so often rather than the absence of sound when it happens.

  If I had to guess, I would say that the drivers on the disk are more compatible with XP (especially once the updates and service packs are installed), or the default configuration has, for some reason, the value of having its active or disabled.  The method by which resolve you the problem - and what is (I guess you can fix or are the lack of sound, why you reload XP again and again hoping that will fix the problem) should help identify why it occurs first.  If you can't fix it and that's the reason why you are reloading again and again then the problem is likely drivers or it could also be a hardware problem (very probably the sound card).  First update the drivers.  Contact the computer manufacturer to see if there is a diagnostic tool to test the sound card (or it may need to be repaired - and your options may depend on whether the card is a card separate or integrated to the motherboard - and the manufacturer should be able to say that both).
