  Hello. My HP Pavilion dv6-6095ex started using so slow to the extent that I could open any file; Therefore, I did hard automatic test of disk errors then got 303 and 305, so I searched for this topic and read a few reviews stating replace HARD drive is a must to solve the problem. Also, it was mentioned I need to check the number of spare part (that's what I found: 634250-001). BTW, I coludn can't found my model here ( & Maintenance Guide.).

  These are the questions I hope to receive an answer, please:

  1. is there a HIGH possibility from facing the same problem in the near future, because I'm afraid to buy new HARD drive would be a waste?

  2 - What are the best choices for a new HARD drive?

  (1) No, the final solution only for the failed hard drive is replaced by a new brand of good quality one. Errors are conclusive for the replacement of hard disk.
  But performance issues, you were previously dependent on who was in the car you use - physical spinning total use of the RAM, processor, hard disk of GOLD Chipset resembling the State (SSD) solid, useless & programs software removal etc.

  Your system supports (160GB SATA) SSD who boosts performance significantly if the size limit is limited. Your system preinstalled 6 GB of RAM which gives pretty decent results. The processor is also good but not later that yours is 2nd generation Intel processor (the last is 4th gen).
  So I think that replace HARD drive should minimize the performance issue.

  My laptop was getting slower and slower, so I did a restore default via the recovery partition, and when it restarts to start reformat and reinstall back to factory condition, I got a message on the screen telling me to run the hard drive test. Did it and got error 303 and 305 messages. Restore to preset works however, after doing research in the error codes I go account, I'm for a new hard drive.

  My laptop is a HP Pavilion dvd6-3203TU with WIndows 7 Home Premium installed. It currently has a disk 320 GB TOSHIBA MK3265GSXX HDD in it.

  After reading the forums, I am pleased to see that my recovery disks will be reinstalling everything on a new hard drive and partition a C: drive and also the recovery partition. The main issue I have is my new drive hard must it be 320 GB in size as the original or to buy something like a disk 500 GB + for the laptop. If I have to replace the hard drive that I can as will increase size while, if possible i.e..

  It must also be a Toshiba or I can buy another brand?

  Your laptop is listed as coming with a 320 GB hard drive, but you can install just as easily a 500 GB or 750 GB HARD drive if you want more space - readers at the following links are examples that would be perfect for your laptop - you are in no way limited to a particular manufacturer.

  I have problems with a Compaq presario CQ61 421SA that is over 3 years old and little used. She became unresponsive and would hang permanently on the office page. Then he would start only in safe mode and finally he wouldn't even that. I've recovered from the partition recovery 3 times now and got things going again only a relapse to the same problems. I did all sorts of controls of sfc/scannow, scandisk, hard starting, start clean and same BIOS update. Nothing shown or improve. Diagnosis before initializing controls showed two codes 303 and 305, and the newspaper has several inputs in this regard. The computer is currently running OK, but a full diagnosis always generates 305 error even if I got the recovery partition and update everything. I fear that it will start to behave badly shortly after. On my last recovery I tried to set the BIOS to boot from the internal DVD and then put in the first of 3 recovery disks when I bought it first, I created. He doesn't seem to read the disc or start the installation of him so I returned to the recovery partition. I'm hesitant to throw good after bad money until I can be sure to a new hard drive.

  I have now solved this one. I found that the codes 303 and 305 has got worse when I started also failing the SMART control diagnostics test done from the BIOS. It was a little conclusive evidence of the problem - no hard drive. I replaced with a brand new HARD drive a slightly larger size (500 GB instead of 320), made sure the BIOS was set to boot from the CD Rom, rather than the HARD disk drive and then used disks of 3 installation I had created when the computer was first purchased in order to return to a fully functional State. The disadvantage was that it was in the same condition as it was when first purchased with all more later lost DATA. Outside of time, everything is OK but I had to reinstall updates of security without end etc. to bring myself perfectly up-to-date again. This proves the value of backup files somewhere else or creating an ISO file of the content of the old hard drive before it fails to restore later. As long as you use the original motherboard and the installation discs created first, it seems that these discs will run and restore new hard drive on a new.  Hope this helps someone else.

  'Delete Cookies' sites causing problems:

  Just bought my first laptop and trying to connect to the internet via a Modem of GNET DSL via PPPoE. When I try to connect to the internet, I get a error Code 651: the modem (or other connecting device) has reported an error. Any ideas on a fix for this. Weird to get a new system and an error code so early.

  I'm 100% sure that this error is not caused by your new laptop. I m also 100% sure that all of the ports on your laptop work properly. You can check in the Device Manager. Is there a problem?

  This modem is is not known to me, but, in General, using the LAN cable should not have a problem if your modem is configured properly. With WLAN is the same.

  Have you tested the feature on another network LAN or WLAN (different DSL router)?

  By the way: what model of laptop you have exactly?

  Need help. I have a standalone PC operating a direct VI on a CFP with a crossover ethernet cable (developed on my laptop, compiled and installed as a standalone on the PC). When the VI runs on standalone PC version, everything works (click the button, analyzers are read), but the time being pulled from the CFP is wrong, and infact resets to December 1969, a default value. I am error checking, and no error is marked with the CFP, slaughter programmes. When I go to the MAX function, the time playing of the CFP is the funky time. Looking at the IP addresses, I generally use a very standard protocol (192.168.000.001 for the PC, 192.168.000.002 for the CFP currently running on the subnet for the pc and the PSC 255.255.255.000). However, when I apply this Protocol on the CFP through max, it gives the error "the subnet mask you entered puts the target and the entry door to different subnets." I am not versed enough well understand this, and what I read in 2 postings here, I tried to harmonize the IP numbers and the subnet, and they do not seem to help. When I put intentionally in false numbers IP or subnet default time synchronization time correct (pc), but functions block (as expected). It is certainly not an issue of PC zone.

  Anyone can offer any guidance?

  OK, I solved it. FYI: for those who are not aware of the IP: IP of the host and default gateway server to the same value. My work for the host computer are 192.168.000.001 and subnet masks can stay 255.255.255.000. The CFP has been set to 198.162.000.002 with a 90.00.00.03 DNS. Time server has been blocked by the Norton 2009 Firewall (even with an exception) and thus the cruxt of this issue together. I had to uninstall completely from this "software". I hope this helps.
