4 - 1257er like: error 0xc0000034

When I turn on my HP envy 4-1257er after the abrupt closing on the screen shows the HP logo that says: "Please wait." After a few seconds the blue screen "with a sad smiley" appears and still reads: "recovery. Your PC needs to be repaired. The boot configuration data file is missing some information required. File: \BCD. Error code: 00xc0000034. You must use the tools of recovery on your installation media. Is your have no media facility (such as a disc or USB device), contact your system administrator or the computer manufacturer. Press ESC for UEFI firmware settings. After pressing the key ESC opens a boot with a Menu to choose an action such as: f1 - information system (worked), f2 - diagnosis system (worked), f9 - boot device options (does not), f10 - BIOS Setup (does not), f11 - system recovery (does not work). When I click on these buttons (f9, f10, f11) again loaded a blue screen with an error. On the drives usb with images do not meet somehow.

You will need to use the usb recovery media that you created to access Windows startup repair options.

You can also do a windows repair USB key.

When there is an error in BCD, the HP Recovery Manager is not accessible by using the F11 key. This is why it did not work.

You should have let the options to show that the OS is installed display. Please post that now if you want help specific to your operating system installed.

What does "On the usb drives with images fails anyway.". I don't understand what you're trying to say.

    I do not have a disk of Windows 8, but will get one if necessary. Also, after checking the settings of the UEFI firmware twice, to check and put in on the "optimal settings", I don't seem to be able to do more. There is also no reliable computer here repair store in Batam, but I'll check in Singapore on Wednesday of this week, 2 days after this message.

    I have read about others who have corrected this problem without losing all their data and I'd like to do the same thing, or at least most of my data. Is it possible to save the data in this State?

    For all information about it is greatly appreciated, thank you in advance.

  • TouchSmart 15-4010nr is no LONGER to START - Code BCD error 0xc0000034

    Cannot start Windows 8. I get the BCD 0xc0000034 on a blue screen error code. System Restore does not restore, and I also tried an auto repair in the limited options given to me, nothing helps.

    Recently I had turned off the dynamic scale in an elevated command prompt, and then a few days later I turned on "use platform clock" as well. However, since doing so either or both, I was able to turn on/off the laptop without a hitch.

    I guess me to play with the BCD settings had something to do with it. For the record, I turn me off checking dynamics in order to reduce the latency DPC in Windows 8. As a DJ, latency spikes are unacceptable and I read this as a solution.

    Any ideas?

    You can try this:

    If the system or Mode restore safe work not and you do not have a Microsoft Vista DVD, make a repair disc to do a Startup Repair:

    Download the ISO on the link provided and make a record of repair time it starts.

    Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.

    At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu.

    When you have changed that, insert the Bootable disk you did in the drive and reboot.

Technically, we could re-create this installation with downloadable media media freely from Microsoft (namely the Microsoft WAIK, several gigabyte download); but it is pretty darn decent of Microsoft to present Windows users who might not be able to create such a thing on their own.

    3 Alternatively, use Knoppix Live CD to recover data:

    http://www.Knopper.NET/Knoppix/index-en.html

    Download/save the file Knoppix Live CD ISO above.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    http://isorecorder.alexfeinman.com/isorecorder.htm
    Download the Vista software from the link above.
    After installing above ISO burning software, right click on the Knoppix ISO file > copy the Image to a CD.
    Knoppix is not installed on your PC; use only the resources of your PC, RAM, graphics etc.
    Change the boot order in YOUR computer/laptop to the CD/DVD Drive 1st in the boot order.
    Plug a Flash Drive/Memory Stick, BOOT with the Live CD, and you should be able to read the hard drive.
    When the desktop loads, you will see at least two drive hard icons on the desktop (one for your hard drive) and one for the USB key.
    Click on the icons of hard drive to open and to understand which drive is which.
    Click the icon for the USB drive and click on "Actions > Change the read/write mode" so you can write to disk (it is read-only by default for security reasons).
    Now to find the files you want to back up, just drag and drop them on the USB. When you're done, shut down the system and remove the USB key.
    See you soon.
  • Error 0xc0000034, your PC must be repaired, unable to start.
    Original title: 0xc0000034 error
    Hello
    I looked through almost all of the posts here about 0xc0000034 error and I can not find a solution that helps.
    I have a Samsung, computer laptop windows 8 and my screen turns blue and start with the following message:
    Your PC needs to be repaired
    The Boot Configuration data file is missing some information required.
    Leader: \BCD
    Error code: 0xc0000034
    You will need to use the tools of recovery on your installation media. If you don't have any facility (such as a disc or USB device) support, contact your system administrator or the computer manufacturer.
    Press ESC for UEFI firmware settings.
    I can't find my disk and have any kind of "installation media".
    I was wondering, is it possible to download all kinds of repair fix on another laptop on my Virgin USB key and plug it into my laptop that has this problem in order to fix it?
    Hello
    Please write us with the following details.
    1. Windows 8 was preinstalled on your computer when you bought the computer?
    2. What is the model of your Samsung computer?
    3. Have what measures you tried to get the fixed number?
    As directed by the error that provided, it seems that you are unable to boot to desktop on your computer from Samsung. You might face this problem during the important file system which makes the boot operating system is damaged or is missing. In this case, you will need to contact your computer manufacturer to get an installation disc, and then proceed further with the steps given below to make the Startup Repair.
    1. To start your computer, wait for the logo of the manufacturer to check the option of start menu, it will usually F12.
    2. The start menu key can be different with each manufacturer. If you are unable to find the start menu button, you can consult the user manual.
    3. Restart the computer, when you see the logo of the manufacturer, continue pressing the Boot option menu key to enter the boot menu and change the option to boot to DVD ROM.
    4. After you start your computer by using the Windows DVD or the system repair disc, a black screen is displayed with the gray text "Press any key to boot from CD or DVD". Press a button on any.
    5. Select the type of keyboard and good time.
    6. Click repair your computer in the lower left corner
    7. Click Troubleshooting, Advanced option and then click start repair.
    You can contact Samsung at the link below. Click on the link, then select laptops section of office to get the correct support forums.
  • SP2 error 0xc0000034 7606/76482 (amd64_microsoft-windows-d... Manager pwindow...)
    I installed Vista SP2 on my system (Vista ultimate 64-bit) and my son system (Vista 64-bit Edition home premium). Downloads have been fine and installed good after download. Then when we restarted the computers they were installing SP2 and on the spot, I got a message! 0xc0000034! 7606/76482 (amd_microsoft.windows - d.. pwindowmanager...) He remained in this message and would not follow. The other I can't be sure of the message because he starts without loading screen.
    This time nor computers primer, both worked very well before installing SP2.
    I tried on two; start-up last known config, go to safe mode and try to fix it using the Vista disc. I tried to go back to a previous restore point, but there is not.
    We are still unable to do anything with a computer. Is there a way to uninstall sp2 and back to the previous version?
    My bad, I forgot that my default instructions are going on inside windows.
    In fact, you need start the PC with the DVD and choose the upgrade path.
    Assuming that SP2 has not itself integrated into the system, it should work properly.
    Start the PC with the DVD in the drive and start it.
    If it does not automatically you will need to change the BIOS setting to make to do so.
    If you are unfamiliar with how to do it, I recommend that you look in the manual of your PC for these instructions.
    Please let us know how it goes.
  • Need help! Error (0xc0000034)
    Hello
    Today, I decided to upgrade my windows 8 to 8.1. When you have completed the update I had a massage that says update failed, and then I got a blue screen that says that some files were apparently missing or damaged. After some research, I discovered that I need to create a USB recovery. Now my question is that, after I have achieve recovery USB and hang it on my computer, the process of fixing the 'error' will affect the files that I have on the computer?
    (And also does it matter what version of windows 8 the recovery disk USB she?)
  • CC Adobe is going to be a real problem if we keep getting errors like error 2 (which is a pain to fix!)
    I followed the instructions to uninstall and reinstall, but I need my LR to work on and has not been able to connect to the internet, it would have been a MAJOR PAIN!  Adobe has better make CC do not do that! Are you listening Adobe? Still hanging with opening who don't quit on me... and hope that something is coming out soon that will be installed on my computer, so I don't have this problem... Cloud apps are a pain!
    Hi Jan,
    Sorry to hear about your difficulties, I would say that you already fixed but if not this article might help: Error Code 2 has no Creative Cloud Desktop app update
  • Boot Up error 0xc0000034 - cannot start windows
    I'm back from work yesterday and found my laptop displays a black screen, saying that "windows couldn't start. A recent hardware or software change might be the cause"and repair using the windows installation disc 7.
    However, windows was preinstalled on my computer so I don't have a disc. I left it during the day so I can only assume it was restarted due to an automatic update.
    I only got this computer the other day and I really don't need this hassle.
    Any ideas?
    Ta
    > However, windows was preinstalled on my computer so I don't have a disc.
    You didn t receive disks because there was software pre-installed, Toshiba recovery disc Creator called.
    This allows you to create the recovery disk that would help to restore the operating system.
    But normally there should be a recovery of HARD drive option too.
    Try this:
    Press F8, choose repair my computer, drive HARD recovery.
    If that does not help, then you will need the recovery disc. You can order it here:
  • Authorization error 8 the file during the copy of the directory
    When I run the above vi for the first time, the copy of the source path directory to target the way successfully.
    When I tried to run the once again I get an error like "error Code 8, or the Possible reasons: LabVIEW: authorization error, OR-488 of the file: hardware error detected DMA.
    What was I doing wrong... or am I missing something?
    The mistake is due to file permission ... some of the files in the directory are some read-only permission. So when I run the vi for the first time successfully, it copies and when I tried to run one more time I was getting error code 8...
    When I change the definition of 511 file permissions... now I'm albe to copy the file successfully
