  A complete answer would require that we know what "word processing" you use.  However, one of the types of files that are acceptable as 'pdf', you can install 3rd party freeware "CutePDF Writer" on your computer:

  Note that you need to install CutePDF and Ghostscript (both on the site) on your machine.  After you do, you will find that you have another printer on your computer named "CutePDF Writer".  Print the file of word processing for this virtual printer.  When you do so, it ask for a place to store your PDF file.  Give it a name and location, and it will create a PDF file for you.   Excellent Freeware (among my top 10) and works with any application you can print from.  Especially good for saving recipes online so that you don't waste any ink/paper.

  I just switched to another PC in my office and copied on Microsoft Photo Editor from my previous machine.  On this machine, I regularly used this software to open it. PCX files.  On this machine, the Photo editing software does not recognize. PCX as a file type.  Is there something I can do for that change?  This is the same version of the software, so I don't understand why this is happening.

  It seems that the Photo Editor is an integral part of earlier versions of Microsoft Office (it disappeared in more recent versions).  According to the following articles, it seems that it takes a graphic filter 'PC Paintbrush' to work with the format PCX with the Office Suite.  Photo Editor may require this as well...

In many cases, you can download the necessary codec on the web for free or for a fee. And, in some cases, the player can automatically use the codecs installed by other reading programs and the creation of digital media on your computer.

  Here is a list of the types of files supported by Facebook: http://www.facebookvideo.it/facebook-video-formats.php.  You will notice that one is. WMV.  It is a common type that works with Windows Media Player.

  I understand that this has been a matter of repetition and I made the suggestions listed and nothing works. This just started happening, although downloading songs, and once they are finished I'm not able to play them with Windows Media Player.
