  There is an easy way for you to tell for sure yourself.

  Go to control panel > system and security > system > windows experience index > check the detailed report.

  In the graphic section it will tell you how many dedicated or shared graphics memory, and the amount of memory system is available.

  I changed my HARD drive that was about to die. Now, I reinstalled Windows 7, the drivers and I retransfered all my files on my new hard drive, but the last thing I can't fix is the function keys that don't work (I can't change the volume/brightness /... by pressing Fn + F1/F2 /.....). I read somewhere that it is an option to re-enable it in the BIOS but I looked everywhere and I cannot find any mention of it. Is different according to the model of the laptop?

  Never had a problem with the fingerprint reader until I installed a new hard drive.  Since then, the finger print scanner became completely unresponsive even after installing a new driver.

  Today I bought HP probook 4535 with the following configuration

  Image AMD A6

  16 GB of RAM (upgrade standard 4)

  ATI Radeon

  750 GB Sata

  The guys from customer support says that this PC in its specifications Tech has support for 16 GB, but he's not sure if the system is stable.   I did an advanced diacnostic and received the error: verification of hard drive failure.  Failure ID: 64G8G8-63N74R-XD6X0J - 618 03.  I do not have a guarantee of more but the laptop is about 2 years old.  Help please

  If so, uninstall it and see if the problem goes away.

I also had HP tech check the. They both said that it was a hardware problem. I sent it to HP to fix it and they replaced the motherboard and said that they have tested. When I came back, it entered into mode 'sleep' again. I left my laptop for about 15 minutes and when I came back it was in mode 'sleep'. This always occurs after the laptop remained for about 15 minutes.

  I sent my laptop repair HP. They replaced some cables and motherboard, but it does not solve the problem. They finally replaced the Windows 7 operating system. Basically they gave me a new system. I spent 3 days to update windows with all the updates and then re-loading of my programs. What a mess!
