Assuming you are using to access virus scan software, you already excludes files with the extensions * .vm are analyzed? Also, you can choose to run chkdsk c: /f to rule out the possibility of problems of file system on the host computer. Once the host file system has been checked, you can download an older version of vmware-vdiskmanager under the "Attachments" section of the VMware KB: repair of a virtual disk Workstation 7.1 and Fusion 3.1 and try to repair the virtual disk with this version.   Thank you for the additional information.

  No, there are no speakers built into the monitor.  You can buy external speakers.  I highly recommend watching the USB speakers.  The connection to your computer via a USB port.  My next speaker with being pregnant BOSE Companion 5.  They are expensive, but you don't need a sound card.

• New ProBook G1 450. WiFi won't turn. No such driver on the HP driver support page.

  In short:

  the Wifi on my new ProBook does not illuminate. Device Manager indicates that the device driver for the Wifi does not load and may be missing or damaged. It is said that the wireless device is an Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC3160 with Bluetooth handset device. HP driver support page is not a driver for this wireless device.

  In more detail:

  This is a new ProBook G1 450, which I'm still doing basic settings I've not yet added my programs. I'll put up the pre-installed operating system preinstalled with HP programs.

  There the code connects to the internet via an ethernet cable and I downloaded several Win 7 HP updates in this way. But it does not connect via a wireless network. It does not recognize that there is Wifi signals in the area. My old Thinkpad and my tablet to recognize a number of strong Wifs in the region and easily connect to the one that I am authorized to use. The ProBook said that there is not a wireless in the region.

  The ProBook WiFi is apparently disabled. The wireless light is turned on (white) and when I click on the appropriate icon, there's a message saying that Bluetooth is activated, but the Wifi is turned off.  Light is supposed to turn on if Wifi or Bluetooth, or both are enabled, it is not a malfunction if it lights up when turned on the only. But I have not yet tried Bluetooth.

  It was a driver problem. I had looked for the driver on the page of intel as well as the disk HP support page and it has not been found.   I, personally, store HP downloads offline and delete the files after their application.  Since they are self-extracting archives, it is a simple matter to copy to the PC and relaunch them - if I need to reinstall one of them.

  I agree that if the old drivers work OK, then I wouldn't change them just because a newer version is released.

  If you encounter any problems with HP Support Assistant, forcing upgrades that plague the screen, then I remove or disable HPSA - because it is very unlikely that HP still is producting updates for an older PC. You will always be able to get updates of Windows without HPSA in place.

  the second bluetooth ProBook has NO!

  I checked the BIOS, every two active a bluetooth settings on both.

  WLAN works on both.

  On the first s I can also install the bluetooth drivers latest, on the second, I can't. Always the message occurred ("no device was detected. Make sure that... »).

  Device Manager indicates, the two ProBooks Intel WiFi - Link 5100 AGN, the first s also Bluetooth-device listed, the second of not.

  It is very strange because the HP Wireless Assistant software is registered directly on the support page and driver 4710 under the solutions section.

  If this is the case, try the latest HP Connection Manager software which does the same thing the software assistant wireless.

  Here's the theory behind your dilemma (except radio BT died).

  This laptop once had the connection manager (since the software assistant Wireless does not) installed, and you can use this software to individually disable bluetooth or devices rather than using the wireless button wireless.

  I guess that for example, turn off the stereo bluetooth with the connection manager to save a small amount of battery power, which increases the time before having to recharge the battery.  But you can still use the wireless.

  The hardware button turns both off the coast.

  The big problem is...

  If none of these devices are turned off by the wireless assistant or the connection manager software and that you reinstall the operating system or to update or other, wireless or bluetooth devices do not appear in the Manager of devices as if they are dead or don't exist.

• ProBook 450: Recover the encrypted Partition pre-launch

  My 450 ProBook has Winmagic Pre-Boot hard disk encryption installed.  As a result of a serious error of windows lost access to \BOOT\BCD.

  I am able to mount the drive in a SATA docking station and see all three partitions.  Of course, the interest partition is encrypted.  Can someone tell where I can get a copy of Winmagic which can be installed on another PC to decrypt the defective drive and recover the latest data?

  Winmagic weren't able to help as the version installed on HP laptops is a customized version.

  Only solution - 'Format C:'.  Actually had to restore the factory setting and start all over again.  Necessary to do 3 times the drive had bad sectors which were not cleaned on the first couple of iterations.  PC seems now stable, simply replace the HARD drive

  Conclusion: The EN488AA will not work with your 6560 b.

  I would try not to host it because the connectors may not align correctly and cause damage to your PC and the docking station.
