4K Sports videos

I plan to pick up a camera 4K (3840-60) to sports school (and other topics).  I do mainly football and currently running concurrently two cameras on the same fluid tripod, one for all actions and zoom in on the LINE.  I think camera line does a much better job showing what can do a defensive or offensive linemen.

My idea for the 4K is I will not need a second camera, cleanly I can zoom in on a part of 1920 to 4 k and get what I mean now for the line.  Even for the highlights of the team together, would be nice to zoom when editing for closer shots of fumbles, interceptions, etc..

You develop just the frames on the timeline to get this view?  4K for HD is 2:1, so you should be able to zoom in by a factor of 2, right?  How big a difference is the quality if you look at 3840 then zoom to 1920?  You can finish a video HD 4 k zoomed portions then reduce/download at 1080?  4 k reduced is more beautiful than 1080... What zoomed in portions reduced?

Hope that makes sense.  Could not find something in Google searches discuss what is possible.

You need to borrow/rent rig a\ 4K that you would be interested and test to see what results get YOU, and if you are satisfied with them, fill Jim's response a bit. I tend to be somewhat of a picky fool, but we had people on here scream on how some color/hue/brightness is OFF... horribly both... and when I download a few grabs and put them on the scopes, the differences are so incredibly small bodies... magnified... barely show a difference.

Others think that things are fine when... wow... it's ugly artifacts everywhere.

Of course, all the mileage varies a LOT.

  • Maximum capacity supported for card SanDisk® sport Clip

Announcement pls advise what is the maximum capacity supported for the SanDisk® sport video memory card!

    Thank you.

The Sport Clip has a limit of 2,000 songs to memory card database. The separate database for memory internal

has a limit of 2,000 songs. Maps of size greater than 32 GB in FAT32 format can work well in the Sport Clip, or they could be problematic. The problem is that these cards are class 10 or faster and faster than the class 4 cards could cause problems in the Sandisk players. If you want to be sure of not having compatibility problems with a card, then the largest capacity card to be used in the Sport Clip is a Sandisk 32 GB class 4 microSDHC card.

Some other brands of 32 GB cards could cause problems to allow, even if they are class 4 or slower. I suggest you get a Sandisk 32 GB class 4 card microSDHC sealed in a lot of detail from a reliable dealer. They are now cheap.

  • Tracking of athletes in video

I watch the NFL and ESPN and I see them (apparently easily) add Dots, doughnuts and other Visual indicators around players who move (quickly) around the field. I do some work of sports video and I was wondering (1) what technology is used to do? (2) is it PLC under a method of tracking or manual and (3) can After Effects and his tools/plug-in do it?   Any idea or feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

You can easily track in AE or many other software and add a brand to a person. I guess hudl.com uses a kind of tracking software. It could be anything. All of these systems, need someone manually select a target, track and then apply to the target tracking information.

Here's a very quick tutorial on adding a target to someone walking in a parade... It shows the basic steps. It is not too difficult.

You did not post your GoPro Hero 2 properties. For example, I will assume that your camera has recorded

1920 x 1080 @ 29.97 progressive frames per second, which gives you a file with an extension of .mp4 and AVCHD video compression file.

First draft 11 elements predefined for that video would be

  • Gel after returning from standby

    Windows 7 64 bit

I use a lot of waiting. After that I wake the computer from sleep mode, it works as expected; but sometimes, when I run a program (usually VLC), the PC freezes, more input not possible, hard power off required. This isn't a problem of input device. The power button on my computer should cause the PC to stop but does not either when the system is frozen.

If I do start VLC (or another program that causes the gel), the PC would either freeze during shutdown (power off), or follow these steps if I started the day before: the rotation of the drives down, monitors are not getting a signal more, cooling fans and the CPU fan still spinning. After about 5 minutes the PC turns off hard.

When I turn on the PC after a hard stop, the message "Windows is not stopped correctly. You want to try safe mode? »

I composed the PC myself, so I have to identify the material originally from the problem... If it was caused by the material. I know that it's not caused by my hard drives of 2 TB. I know there is a similar problem, caused by the slow rotation of the 2 TB drives implementation. I tested my system will detect the connected disks and it still frozen. Disable all startup items has not solved the problem.

Here is a list of my equipment:

    Mobo:
    980DE3/U3S3
    CPU:
    AMD FX 8320
    RAM:
    2x8GB crucial DDR3 of Sport
    Video card:
    ASUS Radeon R7260X, PCIE
    HARD DRIVE:

    Crucial MX100, SATA (SSD)

    various bis Magnetfestplatten 2 TB

    OPERATING SYSTEM:
    Windows 7 64 bit

    POWER SUPPLY:

    800W

    Yet another update:

I recently installed Windows 7 new and frost have yet taken place. Only a few programs have been used:

Chrome, Skype and VLC (since these seem to 'help' freezes)

I also tried Ubuntu, where the system does not freeze. This could be because Ubuntu uses a different expectation.

Currently I am in my old Win 7 installation and try different programs, not only not their use.

    Firefox instead of Chrome-> gel

    No VLC-> gel

    No Skype-> gel

Thus, any of these programs makes my PC freeze

ASRock (my mobo manufacturer) suspected hardware fault. Alas, I can't trace it either PSU or mobo.

Install Windows 7 from scratch, I realized sleep (aka standby) is usable only if the video card drivers are installed. It may be that this device / driver is the culprit?

Edit: it seems I found what caused the problem: Reader adobe flash (plugin). Since it is used by Chrome and firefox in watching Youtube, my system froze with the two programs. Since I updated the driver (including firefox only suggested) no more freezes have been held since a few days now. This may be premature if. I will present after a while to confirm.
Meanwhile, I post a link to a thread that seems to focus on the same problem:

Much written about, some with a lot more details, other fast track.

A quick and easy way would be to create a chart with an arrow or open circle and place it on the Video 2 directly above

See what apply effects/Applied effects Palette/Motion expanded Panel and position the property.

  • Best export settings Full HD for YouTube using Premiere CS4

    Dear all,
In advance, thank you for your time.
I'm downloading sports videos on YouTube especially snooker.
    http://www.YouTube.com/watch?v=s5qyGPld8U8
The videos are captured with a video camera high quality and then edited with Adobe Premiere CS4.
    Can I ask two questions:
    1. who are the best export settings for Youtube if you use a file of source Full HD (1920 x 1080) at 30 frames per second?
For the export file, I use the same width and height that the source file is 1920 x 1080.
However, the original file is shot at 30 frames per second, but I read somewhere that I have included use 59,94 frames per second for the export file, and it seems to work even if it doesn't sound right, it :-)
My current settings for my export file are:
    Video settings
    Main Concept H.264 video
    Width and Height: 1920 x 1080
    FPS: 59,94 frames per second
    Pixel Aspect Ratio: Square Pixels
    Profile: hand
    Level: 4.2
    Flow settings
Encoding Bitrate: VBR, 1 Pass (I also use 2 because there is no worse that it takes just as long to return, pls correct me if I'm wrong)
    Target Bitrate: 4.8
    Maximum flow rate: 8.2
PLEASE PLEASE FIX THE ABOVE SETTINGS AND EXPLAIN WHY IF POSSIBLE, THANK YOU MUCH :-)
2 is it normal that the video export plays a lot on my PC but when uploaded to YouTube it jumps frames and it seems a little choppy?
I watched a lot of clips on YouTube in 720 p or 1080 p and v seemed good, when I looked at my that he wasn't playing as well as it does on my pc.
Should I keep in mind to help the YouTube Player by chnaging my export settings.
If you please comment on the above and also watch my videos for your comments on how to improve the quality.
    THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME!

    You are welcome

interlaced was sorta invented for use with the tv broadcast and the quality is very good and sometimes even better than progressive (even today) if there is a lot of 'Action' in a scene (less blur in the individual images if you look at the individual images to compare)... also, most DVD to date were burned of interlaced footage and many blue ray are too...

The DVD or blue ray player can understand what type of tv it is connected to (widescreen digital tv or old crt 4:3 tv) and deliver the right signal to make it all good look...

So there is no need to think progressive isn't automatically BETTER interlaced... it depends on a lot of things...

lets see if Ann weighs with cs4 settings for you... then read you these files pdf, hehe... you'll be an expert in no time!

PS... If you are interested, check out the news of color samples (you YUV and 4.2.0

I mention this as it might be more useful late re: reproduction of the right color on your exports (your color of youtube has been a little more 'saturated' IMO... very very green and very very red)... then at some point maybe that can be fixed up a little bit too...

  • Can someone tell me please how best to add a circle or an arrow to a culmination of imovie sport on video?

Can someone tell me please how best to add a circle or an arrow to a culmination of imovie sport on video?

iMovie 10.1.2 (latest version) doesn't have a function in the application for the addition of these graphics, or it accepts third party plug-ins to do that.

However, you might find the useful Karsten Schlüter article: How to create a pointer or a title custom

Domingo article explains how to create an arrow or a circle, using the application on your computer.  Open all still in the preview.  Edition/select everything and then delete (on your keyboard).    Then use tools/Annotation of the preview application to create an arrow or circle.  Save as a .png.   Drag your annotation in your iMovie project.  Use the image based on the image of iMovie to overlay arrow or a circle on your video.   Unfortunately, you can not

use the arrow or circle to follow a movement figure on a video.   You would have to use on the scenes where the character moves to the camera, or are underway

followed by the camera so the figure is kept central in the scene.  Or, you can create a still in your video to insert the arrow to identify the figure.

Karsten article also mentions other graphics applications.

  • I need an oval shape for a video of sports

I'm editing a video of sports and I would like to create an oval to place around the player in question in order to attract the viewer itself. The oval appears during a fixed framework, so I need not be animated.

I know this should be simple enough, but I'm stumped.

I'm using Premiere Pro CS4. Thank you.

Here is a title with a 'oval' from the Elipse, no fill tool and a red line:

You can use the Alt key "Center" your oval key and the SHIFT key to constrain it to a circle. Shift + Alt will be a circle.

    Good luck

Please read the following before posting.  THX.

    (1) ' Bookmarking' (placeholding) works only via the menu ' books / audio books. Bookmarking does NOT work with the SAME files played via the Menu 'folder '.

    (2) the menu ' books / audio books ' does NOT show audio books on the external Micro SD card.

Thus, only audio books on the internal map have bookmarking.

WORKED!  I reformatted the external chip enabled Sport Clip recreate the files and then copied the files to the new folder "audio books", and now BOOKMARKING works under the BOOKS and CARDS. (Although not 'FOLDERS', but this can be normal.)

Put your first clip on the timeline

Place at the beginning of the clip

scrub at the beginning of your first nail to rebound, set an out point

    in-to-out clip in the timeline

rub at the end of your first bounce nail, place a point in

scrub at the beginning of your second highlight of rebound, set an out point

    in-to-out clip in the timeline

Repeat until that everything you have on the timeline are highlights of your first clip

Add your clip to the timeline... repeat

  • Advice needed - videos - of sports matches how to combine projects?

I am trying to create a video highlight of my daughter's Soccer.  The goal is to be able to show his talents in a video and I hope engage college coaches.  I recorded the video of several games that are each about 80 minutes.  I'm guessing that I average about 2 minutes of electronic images of each game.  Once the video is finished, it will be posted on you tube and the link will be sent to college coaches appropriate.

I currently work with each game separately as an individual project.  Once I have all the published games, I would like to combine all these individual game projects in a large project.  Once combined, I want then cut out much of the game clips and just keep the really good things for the final product.

My big question is in what concerns together them each little project for the final project.  Can I 'release' of each project and then import the product "published" in first Prev 11 elements?  Is there an easy way?

Any advice on how to do it easily would be much appreciated.

(I use Prime Minister 11 elements (trial version) and standard video files in AVCHD format taken with a video camera.)  If I can get this figured out I will definitely buy the software.)

The smarter way to work would be to put the workspace toolbar in each project so that you export only the segments of your videos, that you will use in your compilation. This will make you save a lot of editing later as well as save you have to work with big, huge you files use only short segments.

The best way to do this depends on how you are going to publish your finished video. It goes to a DVD? BluRay? YouTube or another site online? Video to a portable device like an iPad?

Each has its own workflow better.
