5.1 surround sound problems

Now I know that a lot of people posted something on this topic, but have not received any concrete answers.
Motherboard: MSI z77a-g43
Sound: Realtek latest driver 6.0.1.6823 from 13/01/2013
Similar problems with the rest of the people.
5.1 surround speakers, but only before back works do not work unless you check "Speaker Fill"
But although the pretty bad, bad sound quality coming from the rear.
I checked the output and inputs for audio is OK.
Setting Windows sounds I configured the surround sound 5.1 speakers and tested all individual works of speakers/sup.
I checked for the latest player, yes I have the disc.
I made sure the volume is 100% according to noise levels, even the etc rear black rear gray all balanced.
Even messed with improvements and all nothing.
Now here's the catch, YouTube all my work of speakers, on some applications that was basically a 2.1 speakers.
That said I unchecked give it some control over the application of the thing of the device. Nothing has changed.
Windows Active update hoping that they would have something about this but nothing related.

So is Windows 7 or Realtek problem?.
I just bought these speakers in the hope of a 5.1 full surround with all applications, just very frustrated, I spent $ 100 on something that will not work correctly. (Yes, people spend more).

Anyway could someone help me solve this problem?
As a real answer instead of the entire test / configure the response of the speaker.

I thank very you much.

Windows media player?
BF3?
event?
VLC?
CSGO?
3dmark11?
Mumble works well. (another program similar to the wind)
Steam works
Basically, it shall decide on its own.
And prettyyyy im sure that these programs all provide support for 5.1...

Then in VLC - no matter what you play (even files that you know the sound coded by the author OR by a spectator codec 5.1 any)-No 5.1 audio?

    Hello

A year ago, I created a stereo session to make a multisession mix in Audition 5.5. But now I want to use this mixture to create a 5.1 surround mix. But I can't do it. I changed the output of each output channel default Surround, used the panning of the track and then I exported the whole session as multitrack mixing, opt for the final 5.1 mix. But I can't make it work... All I get is a wav with complete silence.

So I thought: why not revert to the version 3, with whom I did surround CDs in the past? The 5.1 output was 6 separate wav files and I used other software to create the surroundfiles. So I tried to export my multitrack mix to separate wav files by choosing file - export - multitrack mixer - all session and here check all tracks single I want to export instead of choose - stereo or Master - Master 5.1. But what happens then is that I get all the single-wav files (so far so good, because I can load the latter in version 3 and then make a border), but half the files wav is 1 KB. The rest is OK.

Then I tried to open the session of hearing 5.5 in version 3, but that does not work either. Is there a way to export the session so I can open it in version 3? I tried with XML, but that doesn't seem to work...

Can someone help me? Or tell me where I can find a very detailed manual (step by step) how create a surround wavfile who accepts Nero Burning ROM to burn a surround CD? Or it is impossible, because I chose a session instead of a session 5.1 stereo and that I need to create a new session of 5.1 and make the mixture all over again? Let's hope not...

    Thank you in advance!

    Tone

In current versions of Audition (CC2014 and 2015) the best solution that I can find to create a 5.1 mix surround sound from a stereo session is to implement of the bus for L & R main, Center and rear left & right channels (and your LFE channel to use). Send your tracks to these buses to desired levels, and then you can exit the bus as separate files to the combination Downstage.

-""No matter what track NOT through the captain will be not audible on Mixdown ' -I think that this information is incorrect, as long as you have options on export to bus mixer (or even tracks) through the export > mixdown dialog box. " It would be truer to say that any track don't pass not by the master will be inaudible in a mix of the master output.

  • Surround Sound Device do not appear in Windows

    Hello

I have my PC running via HDMI to a Denon AV amp, out for my LG Plasma and through the eye of the TV to my 5.1 system stereo. The problem is that Windows sees only the TV speakers, so I can't set up the skin in Windows. I can't use the PC output optical directly into the stereo, because she is disabled with HDMI output. Is it possible to select optical for audio in Windows when you use HDMI for video.

I was hoping that the AV amp would be a solution, but it detects that it is connected directly on, so when I hit the "Speaker" button, it proudly displays 'TV - Stereo' and also will not output sound other than through the HDMI - in this case.

I can't just plug the stereo speakers to the amp AV or because they have taken non-standard and the rear speakers are wireless.

If anyone has any suggestions, they would be greatly appreciated

  • No. 5.1 surround sound HDMI

Problem - I don't get that ' "two-channel stereo sound during playback of a DVD (with Dolby) on my computer.  The computer is connected to an audio receiver that is set up for a surround sound.  Audio and video signals are transmitted from the PC via the HDMI 8.Lorsque on the video/tuner card.

    Computer - Compaq SR7510F

Vidéo/Tuner - ATI All in Wonder HD

Connected to Onkyo TX-SR604 through a video/Tuner card HDMI cable.  The Onkyo receiver is connected for 5.1 surround sound speakers.  Video signals are transmitted via the receiver to a flat screen monitor

    Sound - onboard Realtek

According to the specifications for the SR5710F it is supposed to support its 6 speakers.  However the HDMI audio driver only allows me to select "stereo".  It is a select "surround" box, but the box is "grayed out".

When I play the same DVD using a stand-alone DVD by Phillips drive, connected to the Onkyo receiver with the same HDMI cable, I get Dolby on the receiver.  This means that it is not a problem with the receiver, it must have something to do with 1) onboard Realtek sound driver 2) HDMI, or 3) the HDMI connection on the video/tuner card.

I checked on the Web from Realtek site and they list a newer driver for Vista (32 bit), but when I use the Device Manager to update the driver, it is said that it is the most recent.  I don't know that the driver is the problem, so I'm hesitant to try for the heck of it.

I tried the latest drivers Catalyst 9.1 for ATI All in Wonder card, but that didn't help either.

    Any idea?

    Telefunken,

Thanks for the suggestion.  It worked!  There is absolutely no sense to me, nor it does not seem logical to select SPDIF, but I can't argue with success.

I didn't need to buy Arcsoft Media Theater.  I was able to select SPDIF with ATI Catalyst and Microsofts Media Center.  I could get Dolby

In my current setup, I updated ATI Catalyst 9.3 version graphics card and loaded the audio driver Realtek HDMI ATI R2.18.  Also in the BIOS, I put the Audio on 'Auto '.  I chose the HDMI, not the Realtek driver driver in Control Panel.  I chose Dolby and DTS bothy under the driver settings.

Now I think I'll enjoy a Quantum of Solace from this nagging problem is resolved.

  • Pavilion 15-n267ea: how to set up 5.1 surround sound on my laptop through 3.5 mm Jack?

    Hello

I was wondering if anyone of you guys/girls know how to set up surround sound 5.1 to 3.5 mm jack? I have a HP Pavilion n267ea 15 notebook with 10 64-bit Windows installed currently. My HARD drive failed last year so I had to install a new copy of windows (without the HP software) because I never made a backup.

If there is a way, I would be grateful if you could let me know in a few steps. I have a surround system hooked up with an input audio jack of 3.5 mm. Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you for visiting the HP Forums! The Forums are a great place where you can find solutions for your problems, with the help of the community!

I read your post about the noise and wanted to help you!

From my understanding, to reach 5.1 output, you need the outputs 3 analog stereo, or you will have to do it via HDMI.  I hope this helps.

  • Just not upgraded for Windows 10, 7.1 Surround Sound no more functions

I use a Logitech G633 helmet, which is compatible with a 7.1 surround sound. Before moving to Windows 10, one worked perfectly well with Skype and my sound quality surround sound was crystal clear. After the upgrade to Windows 10, Skype does not use surround sound and instead, I'm treated with bad stereo audio.

Everything else on my computer always uses one surround sound, except Skype. This problem is only with Skype.

I tried to reinstall the Skype and Logitech software, with no result. I am at a loss for what to do and if I can't find a solution I'll down(up?) level to Windows 7.

I already tried to install a version of LGS that dates back all the way to March 2015, and it did not fix the problem. I was already using the latest software version when I was running Windows 7 and Skype worked fine with one surround sound with Win7.

  • a6233. SC - HD surround sound?

Hi, I bought the a6233.sc about 7 years ago and did not have a reason to replace it since then. I added more RAM and a bunch of external hard drives.

Now, I'm looking for buy a new receiver surround sound capable of HDMI and HD audio and my PC has become the center of the media associated with over the years, I want to make sure that most of the things she would always keep upward. This read on sites Web HP/realtek/Nvidia I initially thought that it would be no problem: sound card is ALC888S and although there no passage in the functions of HD formats, there no record of 192 kHz/24-bit and I have a software that decodes the LPCM sound. But now I just read an article that made me doubt if the sound card is integrated into the exit HDMI of Nvidia 8600 GT.

Another question, is my PC has more muscle to handle a Blu - Ray player?

Any help would be much appreciated I could prioritize significantly differently if things are not as I hope.

    Peter

I understand that you want to know about the sound card and how it works with the 8600 GT video card HDMI output.

I am not entirely sure about the line of products from Nvidia, but that's how it works on AMD cards.  The video card has a dedicated sound chip for HDMI audio output, which is separated from the dedicated sound system map.  It has its own drivers and resources in Windows.  It is also separately listed in Device Manager in the sound category.  I think it would be the same for Nvidia products.

Do a ctrl + f search on this FAQ blu indicates the card 8600 is capable of playing blu - ray.  According to the specifications, the system came with 32 bit Windows Vista that would make the RAM max allowed 4 GB (3, 2-3, 5 GB usable).  If there is a large RAM available, it would seem that this would be sufficient.  The system came with a 2.4 GHz quad core processor which should be wide enough for blu - ray playback.  However, none of this is a guarantee.  Each blu - ray player comes with different reading software.  I recommend to look at the system requirements of the software (which should be listed) and compare that to what your system has.  As long as you are within the reading software, it should be fine.

  • Mac Mini, 2016, 5.1not Surround sound work

    Hello

I'm new to mac. I have so far had to import my library ituns with sides of my pc and I have problems major can´t import a CD so I'm not in love with the new system. Also I just found out that the mac does not work with 5.1 all the time! I have configured as such, and when I do a test the rear speakers work. However, when I look at something or have music on there is no sound from the rear speaker I checked on my blueray and they work so no problem there.

    Any ideas.

This CD you are trying to import into iTunes?

And why you can not import?

Computer music are for most stereo and not 5.1 surround sound.

  • surround sound in iTunes

On my sound Windows 10 PC surround works in Windows Media Player, but not in iTunes. How can I change the config in iTunes?

I had exactly the same problem and based on iTunes for a solution and after really engage with them, they are back and after testing what they suggested I have now answer that works.  As with all things all he needed was to know what box and the important thing to note is the solution lies not in iTunes, but in a simple setting on your Windows 10 sound settings.

So the solution is the following:

First of all, quit iTunes (if open), then go to control panel - sounds - select your speakers (probably failed you device) and then click Properties.  Then click on the enhancements tab and simply check the Speaker Fill box - click on apply and can test to see if you work by using the Preview button.  Surround sound on all 5.1 speakers should play.

If so the next open iTunes and play your favorite song and it should play in a 5.1 surround sound.

Hope it works for you - it did for me and is a solution supported by iTunes Support.

If it does not you spread the word about this solution.

PS I think this can also solve / resolve 5.1 surround for iMovie and other problems of his fellows.

    Enjoy

  • No surround sound on Apple TV 4 gen?

I recently upgraded to Apple TV fourth generation and lost my sound surround.

My old Apple TV (3rd generation) has been connected via optical toslink to my receiver Onkyo and everything worked well. A 5.1 surround sound.

Now, I have installed the new Apple TV 4, who unfortunately doesn't support optical output. Instead I connected the th output to my Onkyo HDMI receiver. Whenever I get sound, but only 3.1 (front left, right and Center) but no sound on my surround sound speakers. If I unplug the Apple TV and plug in my DVD player the same HDMI input on the receiver I hear great 5.1 surround. If Im guessing all the settings of the receiver is very well. It's just the apple TV that does not work.

Why is this? Apple TV supports 5.1 sound more? Is this a known problem and how can it be solved.

Try adjusting the audio settings Dolby on the ATV4.  Given that my receiver has no HDMI inputs, I went with an optical splitter HDMI and have 5.1.

  • Audio Surround Sound System

    Hi all.

I develop an audio system cockpit of flight 3D to run speech recognition applications. My problem is this: I want to be able to output sound to each stakeholder in the SRS 7.1 individually. In other words, I need to extrapolate on the code that generates the sound output to the left or right of a computer enclosure. I developed a LV code that will do, but when I try to take it to the level following a 7.1 system, I get nothing from beyond the first two speakers. I have notinced that channels detected by the function "Sound File Info" is only two, even if I put the vi "configure the sound output" to seven. I should also mention that the PC sound card provides the output to the surround sound system via a one / audiovisual receiver. Anyone can do the somelight on how I can get the code to see more than two channels and start sound ouputing to each speaker, one at a time? I would really appreciate the help. I also attached the vi that I worked on. Thank you.

    Hi vehnasa1,

I looked at your code and I was able to get a third speaker to give the output when using a multichannel wave file. I'll make sure that you use a .wav file that has more than two channels in order to get output for speakers spent the first two.

    Graphics card: Nvidia GTX 460

    I use a headset usb (Logitech G35 7.1 w surround)

    What happens if tried:

    Update the bios.

    Update drivers Logitech G35.

    Patchwork of Mass Effect 2.

In addition, on people of forums to effect mass who use Windows XP disable their hardware acceleration and solve the problem. I can't find this option in Windows 7 x 64.

    :) Help is appreciated...

    Hi korlath,
First, make absolutely certain that your soundcard Control Panel, but also the sound properties in the control panel are properly configured to use the number of channels you want.
If you are still having problems and you want audio equipment, follow these steps:
    a. go to your C:\Users\\Documents\BioWare\Mass Effect\Config directory and rename the file to something else BIOEngine.ini.
    (b) launch Mass Effect without running the Config utility. The game will recreate BIOEngine.ini using the default values, and must correctly identify your audio hardware.
    c. in the in-game Audio hardware settings should already be selected - do not change back to audio software or make other changes to the sound settings.
Note: Audio: If checked, the game uses hardware acceleration that improves the audio quality and performance. I recommend you check this option in most cases, unless you are having audio problems or other problems. In particular, note that you will need to check this option if you have a multichannel audio system and use more than 2 channels.
    Hope this information is helpful

  • Option of surround sound clothes outside with HD4870 HDMI connection after installation of SP1 Vista54

Clothes outside with HD4870 and HDMI connection surround sound option
I just built an HTPC and installed SP1 Vista64 and I have a problem. I have a DFI LanParty very X 58-T3H6 motherboard and a VisionTek Radeon HD 4870 video card with HD audio. I have a HDMI cable to my Sony AV receiver and all I get is Audio stereo. The subwoofer never wakes from sleep, or AV receiver indicates anything but a stereo input.

I have the RealTek HDMI audio device installed, and he says he's working properly in Device Manager. Under properties, what is proposed is stereo speakers. Surround sound is presented as an option, but it is grayed out and not selectable. All drivers are up to date from four days and I have the on-board sound card mother disabled in the BIOS and it does not appear in the Windows Device Manager, nor are there any other audio device except the RealTek HD HDMI audio device.

Other HDMI devices, such as my XBOX 360, a surround sound very well via the AV Sony receiver.

VisionTek support told me to install the RealTek HDMI driver, I did, but that's all the help they were able to give me.  The problem persists.  Surround sound is gray under sound properties for this device,

I took the HDMI cable from HDMI port on the video card and plugged on my XBOX 360 and I get surround sound, so I know that the cable and the audio/video receiver is configured correctly.

If anyone has an extra idea about it, I know you more!

    Thank you!
