5.4 Lightroom crashed my computer and now I can't open LR.

I'm hoping to avoid reinstalling so I hope someone has some ideas because I'm out of them.

My computer has just become black when I import a fairly large amount of new RAW images. After about 30 minutes of this black screen, I decided he was not coming back and I turned off the computer. Now, I try to open LR, it gives me a false glow of hope because it opens only to have an error box will appear 30 seconds later. The box States: "Lightroom has encountered an error when reading the preview cache and need to quit." After that I can only shut the box down which stops LR.

I tried all the normal fixes since the obvious reboot to try to fix it from Control Panel, but I get an error message of the impasse with everything I try. I even installed upgrading 5.6 hoping he could fix or install a new version which was better with the duty set all my catalogs.

Any ideas?

OK what you need to do, is go to the folder with your catalog inside and remove the folder with the name that ends with Previews.lrdata.

It is damaged by the accident.

It contains only excerpts that can be rebuild as needed by Lightroom, or you can select files or all files and use the rendered previews Standard in the library Drop Down Menu command.
